An Angel's Promise To The Sky
LEETEUK was ordered early in the morning to go to the office of SM Entertainment's Chairman, Lee Soo Man.
"Take a sit, Leeteuk-ssi." the Chairman said and ushered him to sit on the couch in front of the Chairman's table, "We have a lot of matters to discuss."
"Annyeong hashimnikka, songsaengnim." Leeteuk said and bowed at him, "Is this about the boys, sir?"
Soo Man, who was wearing his black - gray suit layered with a white long sleeved polo underneath partnered with a black necktie which smoothly lays to with the suit. He is also wearing black gray pants that goes along with the suit and a pair of leather Bally shoes to complete the look,
He sat and lay his body back to the couch facing where Leeteuk was sitting, "Ani. This is about you, Leeteuk-ssi." the chairman informed him, "I've been hearing some news about you."
Leeteuk sighed, thinking of what to say before replying to his mentor, "If you are referring about the news about me going out with girls, sir, that's already old news. I had told the reporters that those news are not true." Leeteuk replied,
"I know that, and I'm really glad that despite those rumors, you still maintained your composure as a leader of Super Junior, you really proved to me that you are right in the position as the group's leader."
"Kamsahamnida, songsaengnim." Leeteuk said,
"But that's not the reason why I called you today, Leeteuk-ssi..."
Leeteuk was taken aback on what his teacher had told him, "Then what is this about, songsaengnim? Is there some new rumors spreading about me?"
"I don't know if it's a rumor yet that's why I'm confirming it with you, now." Lee Soo Man said while focusing his gaze at Leeteuk, this made him nervous
Because it only meant it's something really serious... and it's about him.
"I heard that you have been taking a lot of breaks these past few weeks. I believe you asked your manager for a break after your concert in Paris a few months ago and then again recently." Soo Man said,
Leeteuk was speechless, thinking of how to explain to the SME Chairman,
"I'm not saying that you are not allowed to do that, Leeteuk-ssi. But would you mind telling me the reason of your leaves at work?" the chairman asked Leeteuk while looking at him inquiringly,
"I'm thinking of spending my time with my family, songsaengnim." Leeteuk said, careful with his words in front of his mentor,
"Hmm... family? Is Kang Sora included in your family, Leeteuk-ssi? I believe you were with her in the ocassions of your leaves, at first I thought she was really your family because she was not familiar to me but then I discovered that she's not when she was paired up with you in WGM."
"Songsaengnim, I..."
"Somebody even told me that you knew each other even before WGM and that explained my conclusion that the girl you were with before and the Kang Sora you're with is the same."
"Somebody? Who's that somebody?" Leeteuk asked,
"We will get to that later, Leeteuk-ssi. Why don't you fill me in first on what relationship you have with this Kang Sora?" Lee Soo Man asked him back,
"She... She..." Leeteuk said, contemplating on what to say to Lee Soo Man,
"Do you have a deep relationship with Kang Sora-ssi, Park Jungsoo?" Leeteuk is getting more nervous as the minute passes, and by now he is realizing how serious this matter is.
His mentor calling him Park Jungsoo means serious business...
Leeteuk sighed heavily and shut his eyes, a sign of giving in to his mentor,
"She's my girlfriend, songsaengnim." he answered sadly,
Telling the Big Man the truth means one thing...
"I had an idea about that already, Jungsoo. I'm just confirming it to you." Lee Soo Man said and looked directly at him,
"But I'm sure you do know what to do with her, right? You have to break up with her. You have to forget this relationship you have with that girl."
"I'm sorry but I can't do that, sir. I love Sora and I won't let her go." Leeteuk said,
"You know what, Jungsoo? I think I have heard that line before." Soo Man said that took Leeteuk aback,
"Ah, yes! I have heard that from your ex girlfriend. I believe her name was Kim Taeyeon, am I correct?"
"Ta - Taeyeon? What does she have to do with this?" Leeteuk asked, confused to where his mentor is getting to,
"Well, you see she told me that same line before when you and the rest of the Super Junior are just starting with your group. She told me that she won't leave you no matter what and that she loves you very much, but that girl was easily bribed. Poor her." Lee Soo Man said,
"I asked her if I give her a choice what will she choose, you or a chance to study in Paris with full expenses paid. She chose the latter and left you."
"She's also the one who told me about your relationship with Kang Sora now." he informed Leeteuk, "So, I believe you understand what you're going to do with your pretty Sora-ssi, Leeteuk. You do have an idea on what I can do with that girl, don't you?"
"I can break her career, Leeteuk-ssi. I'm sure you don't want that to happen to your Baby Princess, right? I didn't invest on you guys just to be ruined by a mere young star like her. Break up with her!"
"I don't care, Lee Soo Man songsaengnim. I love Kang Sora and nothing will change that!" Leeteuk argued,
"Oh really? Then you want Super Junior to disband just because of you instead? Have you thought about the guys you have been with these past decade or so, Park Jungsoo? Are you going to give up their dreams just because of that girl?"
"That's 14 lives we're talking about here, Leeteuk and it's not only yours. Are you going to give up on them just because of Sora?"
"What do you think they will say if you give up on them and continue your relationship with that woman? Have you also thought about the fans that will be left behind if your group disbands? Think about it, Leeteuk-ssi."
Leeteuk felt like his chest was hit by something heavy, his mind thinking of other solutions on what the chairman told him. Thinking of how to let his brothers, the Super Junior to stay with him, and Kang Sora, his girlfriend at the same time.
Maybe they are right... you can't have two good things at once...
Leeteuk left Lee Soo Man's office with a heavy heart and became oblivious to the people around him. He roused when he felt someone tapping his shoulder and saw Taeyeon smiling at him,
"Annyeong, Leeteuk-ssi. Did you talk to Lee Soo Man-ssi?" Taeyeon inquired and Leeteuk answered her with a nod,
"He told me that we can continue our relationship now, Leeteuk-ssi. You can use me to forget about Sora-ssi and show your fans about us." Taeyeon said,
"Is that how low you will get just to have me, woman? I'll tell you again, no matter what you do, you will never have me back." Leeteuk said and left Taeyeon standing alone the hallway,
Leeteuk left the SME Building and drove around Seoul, trying to clear his head on the discussion he had with the chairman, turning his phone off avoiding calls from people at work,
He stopped and parked at the place where he first brought Sora, the place where you can see the whole city of Seoul.
"I love you... I love you...I'm sorry..." Leeteuk uttered while letting his tears fall

Annyeong haseyo, GnaixNiQ imnida... I'm sorry if I was not able to fulfill my promise to update regularly, it's just that I'm busy with other things lately. I won't make a promise on you guys, anymore because it really pisses me off whenever I don't get to do them.. mianhe... I'll just update whenever I can, please bear with your slowpoke author...
