An Angel's Promise To The Sky

"SORA-ya, what are you doing here?" Leeteuk said when he saw his girlfriend standing right in front of him, "Aren't you supposed to be in Korea and doing your work?"

"My manager has booked me a modelling stint here too, oppa and I also heard that you have asked his permission about my leave as well." Sora said to Leeteuk while looking at him,

Leeteuk was wearing a white turtlenecked shirt that fit his body perfectly, dark denim jeans, brown leather boots with a tan colored coat on top, he still have his hair fixed for the photoshoot. Sora can't look away from the gorgeousness that her Jungsoo has.

"Yeah, I asked him for you. I hope you don't mind that though. I also mentioned to him about Boys in the City that we will be doing the photoshoot here so I won't be able to see you for weeks just like what I told you before I left for Korea." Leeteuk said, "What are you modelling for, yeobo?" he then asked,

Sora sighed and blush when she turned down her head,

"Yeobo-ya? Is there something wrong?" Leeteuk asked her and lifted her chin up with his fingers,

"Oppa, honestly I don't have anything to do here but I like to see you. My manager just gave that excuse to me when someone asked what I'm doing here. My friends invited me to go to France and then I also brought a friend with me going here." Sora answered and bit her lower lip,

"Your friends? Who are those friends of yours? Do I know them?" Leeteuk asked softly to Sora while giving her soft kisses on her cheeks,

"J - Junghoon o -  oppa told my manager too about y - your trip and asked me if I like to go and see you. H - he said that --" Sora was saying but her words are uttering because of the soft kisses Leeteuk was giving her,

"What did Junghoon hyung told you, Princess?" Leeteuk asked between kisses,

"He - He said you were lonely without me." Sora replied and immediately bowed her head to hide her blushing cheeks,

Leeteuk sighed, "Aish! Hyung is like a girl sometimes. He keeps his nose on someone else's business." Leeteuk said and whined, "I'll get my revenge one day when he finds a girlfriend I'll do the same. Ahh! That ahjussi!" Leeteuk playfully said to Sora,

"Who came with you, yeobo? You mentioned that you came here with a friend, right?" Leeteuk asked her again,

"Jiyeon-ah came with me. I'm sure she' s spending her time with the Suju oppas right now. We rode the same plane with you, but we we're seated at the back." Sora said,

"We rode the same plane? How come I didn't see you? If I did then we should've seated together instead." Leeteuk said and knotted his forehead,

"I don't want to create such a commotion, oppa. When we see you stand up, we cover ourselves with blankets and pretended to be asleep or sometimes we cover our faces with books that Jiyeon brought with her on the plane." Sora answered,

Leeteuk looked at her intently when he suddenly realized something and his gaze was mixed with anger, "Kang Sora, do you realize what you just did?" he then asked seriously that alerted Sora herself,

"Oppa, what's wrong?" Sora asked nervously,

"Princess, did you realize that you're with men by going here? And you do know that I don't really like it when you are around others. Eventhough they are my brothers. Don't you remember that?" Leeteuk said, remembering the situation they had before back at the SJ dorm when she visited him,

"But oppa, I won't bother you at work though. I can spend my time with Jiyeon while you are with SuJu oppas and doing your shoots." Sora explained,

"Arasso. I know that I can't stop you when you have already decided on doing something. I just want you to be careful when you are with Jiyeon then. We're not in Korea and this is far from our country. You get what I mean, princess?" Leeteuk said and kissed her forehead while holding her close to his chest,

"One more thing, Mademoiselle Kang." Leeteuk said when he slightly leaned his body away from Sora and looked on Sora's clothes,

Sora's face is all natural and Leeteuk guessed that his princess only has a bit of blush on and a pink lipstick on her lips. She  is wearing a white lacey undertop that shows her white skin, a pair of denim shorts which reveals her milky long legs and a pair of black leather boots for her feet. She also have a coat to complete the look,

"You should not go out of your hotel wearing those kind of clothes again. Unless you're with me. Understand?" Leeteuk said and Sora just nodded in reply to him,

"Where are you staying with Jiyeon?" Leeteuk then asked after swallowing and sighing,

"We're booked in this hotel too, oppa." Sora answered him and blushed again,

"What's your room number?" Leeteuk asked again while looking at Sora lovingly,

"Oppa?" Sora asked got confused on Leeteuk's question,

"Princess, don't ask me that question because as much as I want you to stay here in this room with me, I won't do that. I might not be able to work tomorrow if I do, so you have to stay with Jiyeon for now." Leeteuk said and sighed again, fighting the urge to grab Sora in his arms and kiss her endlessly,

"I understand, oppa. I - I..." Sora just uttered, her cheeks burning with shyness refusing to admit that she wants to spend the night with Leeteuk on their first night in Paris.

"Yeobo-ya, don't get me wrong. I really want you to be beside me tonight and spend the night with you but I have missed you so much and I have been thinking about you when I was on the plane that I might end up ..." Leeteuk said but was not able to finish because he felt his cheeks burning in shyness.

"I - I get it oppa.", now it was Sora's turn to blush when she understood what Leeteuk is trying to say to her, "But oppa, can you promise me to spend time with me after your shoots? I want to see the Eiffel Tower with you and I want to see Musse du Louvre too."

"Alright. We can go to Versailles too. Do you know King Louis XIV? Kyuhyun said his palace is still standing and I'm curious what that looks like." Leeteuk grinned, "Will I feel like a king too when I enter there?"

"But for now, Princess. You have to go back to Jiyeon and take a rest. If you flew with us then you're as tired as we are." Leeteuk then said and stood up from the bed they were sitting on, "Gaja. We have to take a rest."

Sora was about to stand and hold Leeteuk's hand when they heard the buzzing of his phone,

"Hyung, I will be sleeping with Eunhyuk tonight. We're watching a football game and we're having a bet. I don't want Hyukkie to cheat that's why I'm going to sleep here!" Donghae just informed their leader and hung up his phone before Leeteuk can react.

Leeteuk just stared at his phone and sighed, "I guess I'll be sleeping alone tonight." he said and looked on Sora, "Aniyo!" he said suddenly, "Let's get going and have you rest for the night."

"Oppa.." Sora said and just followed Leeteuk to the door,

Sora's room was at the same floor as the rest of the Super Junior members, just a few doors away from Leeteuk's. He knocked the door but no one is answering,

"Jiyeon-ah, it's Jungsoo oppa. Open the door, your Sora eonnie's here." Leeteuk called but he didn't hear any movements from the inside,

He then called his sister's number and she answered after a few rings, "Jiyeon-ah, eodi-ya? I'm here in front of your room with Sora. Open the door."

"Oh! mianhe, oppa. I'm with Kyuhyun and Sungmin oppa right now. We're sight seeing." Jiyeon said, "The lights here in Paris are so cool, oppa."

"Aish! Arasso, just don't take too much time sight seeing, dongsaeng. We have work to do tomorrow." Leeteuk said in resigned voice. He then sighed before looking at Sora,

"Yeobo, I think we have to spend the night together though. Donghae is going to be with Hyukjae and Jiyeon is spending time with the maknae and Sungmin."

"Ne, oppa. Mianhe." Sora said and was about to turn her head down again when Leeteuk lifted it up to meet his eyes,

"Ani. I told you, I would want to spend the night with you, so you don't have to say sorry to me." Leeteuk said, "I should be the one to say sorry though." he said and Sora noticed the change on Leeteuk's eyes...

He's looking at her seductively now, as if he just freed something inside him... his yearning desire to have her in his arms can be read on his eyes as Leeteuk looks at his Princess.

The Fading of Bright Stars

In the years we shared work spaces, seldom did our hours crossed. She worked night shifts, while I move around across different time zones to meet the demands of my profession. She was a luminary; a survivor of countless excisions when the demands of work is lesser than what is required of human resources. And if not for the months-long infirmity last year, she would have endured the most recent culling. She became part of the statistics, only to return when a colleague flew abroad to get married and live with her fiancé.

A fine lady in her early 30's, one would easily mistake her for an East Asian. Her eyes disappear when she smiles, and her porcelain skin is the envy of many. Her gauntly frame, albeit a cause of concern, hardly bothers any. Colleagues would tell she eats nothing but Chippy and Coke. But who are we to forbid her of such pleasures? She delivers, and for all we care, satisfied are we of her job performance.

Talk is an avocation the two of us hardly engage. Reason lies in office hierarchy, but more so, because we respect each other's solitary leanings. But this doesn't mean ambivalence, or hidden disdain. Words may have never articulated what my thoughts were, but I've always regarded her in high esteem.
