stop it.

“Gosh! What is with everybody here? I just want to go home!” Miyoon shouted as she exited the gates.

The two guards who had permitted her entrance blinked at her change of attire and frowned as they watched her stomp by them talking to herself. “How am I supposed to get home now?!” she growled as she stood in the immense vacant lot filled with only a few cars belonging to either the players or the coaches.

Miyoon grabbed at her hair and squatted down onto the floor as her chin rested on her propped up knees. “I knew I should have just said no to lunch.” She muttered staring at the concrete ground. Next, a gust of wind came by causing her to shiver. “I can walk home. When Omonim drove here I recognized a few places.” She thought out loud.

“Yes and even if I can’t I can definitely call someone from one of the shops.” Miyoon stood up ready to make her leave when something warm fell over her shoulders. She froze and didn’t take another step.

“I’m sorry for what Kyungmi did in there. She went over the line.” Hoya stated. Hearing him apologize for the first time ever Miyoon was really dumb-struck. Her lips were slightly parted as she remained passive.

Hoya puffed out a breath of air before he grabbed the back of his neck unsure of why he was even doing this. Why did I come after her? And why am I apologizing? I didn’t do anything wrong. “Look,” he paused. “It was just a misunderstanding. Don’t be mad.”

“A misunderstanding?” Miyoon scoffed. “She literally jumped on me over your stupid sweater.” She shot back turning around to face him. Without knowing it, Miyoon slipped into the sleeves of the cardigan in order to keep warm. It was just her natural response for not wanting to get frostbite.

“If it’s so stupid then why are wearing it?” Hoya questioned.

Miyoon stared at the cardigan now snuggly wrapped around her body and stiffened. “Fine if you want it, take it back... Again.” She declared starting to remove it a second time. How did this even get back on me? As she was in the midst of the extraction, Hoya suddenly stopped her.

“I don’t want it anymore since you’ve already worn it. If I get it back I’ll just burn it into ashes.” He shrugged nonchalantly. “Besides, I never even wore that. The fabric makes me itchy; you might as well keep it.”

“You would burn it just because I wore it?!” Miyoon guffawed. “You really haven’t changed at all.”

“On the contrary, I think that’s a good thing. Is it not?” he defended.

She clucked her tongue and then crossed her arms against her chest. “Whatever, I’m going home now.”

“Is that so?” Hoya raised both of his brows at her amused.

“Yes it is so.” Miyoon confirmed.

“So how are you getting back? Do you realize how secluded this stadium is from everything else?”

“It’s not that secluded.” She disagreed. “On the way here we drove by a busy plaza.”

“Yeah, you drove by. Not walked by.” He corrected. “That plaza is at least two miles away. And with what you’re wearing, you won’t even make it half way before you freeze.” Hoya finished.

“Two miles?!” Miyoon jumped. She regained her composure soon after and awkwardly cleared . “I mean, that’s no big deal. I can make it for sure.”

“When I said stop being a pushover, I didn’t mean start being stupid.” Hoya snickered.

“BO?! I’m not stupid nor am I pushover.” Anymore. Miyoon scowled.

“So why are you trying to lie and pretend like walking two miles in this windy weather is okay?”

She was silent.

“I didn’t say it was okay.” She sniggered. “I said I could make it.”

“But you can’t.” he denied.

“Yes I can.” Miyoon assured.

“No.”

“Yes.”

“Not even close.”

“Yes even close.”

“You’re not going to make it.”

“You’re not going to make it.” Miyoon imitated Hoya’s words but in a nasally voice version accompanied by a rather distorted face. “Watch me!” She spat now glowering at him.

He looked at her and then his eyes darted everywhere. He wanted to burst out laughing because of her imitation of him and that expression she had worm but he decided not to. Once a minute or two passed by with her still glaring at him he decided to speak up. “So, I’m watching. Are you going yet?” he teased.

Miyoon raised her shoulders only to drop them like a child. “No!”

“No?” he repeated.

“Yes because you were expecting me to leave.” She reasoned immaturely. Hoya blinked at her and his teeth. So much for her matured years. “Now I’m going because you didn’t expect me to.” She declared as she spun back around and started walking away.

And I’m the baby? Hoya shook his head before he jogged up beside her. “I’ll bring you home.” He announced.

“I don’t want a ride from you.” Miyoon harrumphed not bothering to look at him as she continued on.

“Seriously, stop being stubborn. You act like I want to give you a ride.” He grumbled. “But if I don’t my mom and halmeoni won’t be pleased with me when they find out.”

“That’s not my problem.” She shrugged as she hugged her body trying to keep warm.

Hoya stopped following her and bit his bottom lip out of irritation. He watched as she stalked off before he slapped the back of his head and ran to his car. “She couldn’t just take my nice offer, could she?”

“I said let me go!” Kyungmi ordered.

Maru and Wonho looked at each other and shook their heads. “We can’t.”

“Bo? Waeyo!?” she screeched.

“Because you’re just going to attack her when you see them.” Maru pointed out.

“So?! It’s not fair! Why did sunbae have to chase her like that? He’s making me jealous.” She whined.

“I doubt he’s doing it on purpose. And I mean come on, you tried choking her. If he doesn’t go and apologize to her who will?” Wonho questioned.

Kyungmi stopped twisting and turning and stomped her feet. “Fine, fine. I won’t chase after him. You can let me go.” She bargained.

“But—”

“I already gave you my word. I know I shouldn’t have attacked her like that. I won’t follow them I swear.” Kyungmi confessed.

Maru looked at Wonho who in return shrugged. “Okay, because you said you wouldn’t bother them.”

And once they released her, Kyungmi pulled on both of their shoulders and caused a collision between them. “Oof!” they both yelped.

“Serves you right!” she gnarled before running out of the stadium herself.

“Tch, yesterday he kicked me out of his car and now he wants to give me a ride?” Miyoon rolled her eyes. “As if, he probably wants me to get in so he can just kick me out again.”

As she treaded through the parking lot Miyoon noticed that she really underestimated it’s size. Because just like the stadium it surrounded, the lot was enormous. Which meant the exit to the road was far off in the distance and she wasn’t even half way there yet. “Aish, right now Lay gege’s bicycle would be useful.”

Then she heard the screeching of tires and soon enough Hoya’s car pulled up in front of her. He had driven so fast that when he drifted and stepped on the break, he left tire marks and the terrible stench of burning rubber.

Miyoon whom was not expecting this at all jumped back stunned. “Omona!” she squealed clutching onto her heart.

The window rolled down and Hoya smirked at her. “Did I scare you?”

“Yah!” Miyoon fumed relaxing her arms. “That wasn’t funny! You could have hit me!”

“But I didn’t, did I?” he rebutted.

“You could have since you’re a reckless driver.” She sneered.

“Like you’re any better.”

“I don’t have to listen to this.” She stated as she walked around his car.

However Hoya wasn’t going to give up. He quickly jumped out of the vehicle and blocked her path. He had his
