“Shopping? Should that even be a question? Of course I’d go!” Miyoon screeched as she and Taela strutted down the hall to their class. As they made their way through the academy, the sound of their shoes could be heard on the next floor. Click-clack-click-clack was all that resounded in the corridor while the students watched them with fascination.

The guys were trying hard to control their feelings; one boy even began to bang his head into a wall as another shoved his head into his locker. At the same time, some other love-struck fellas were giving the two girls their best smiles which like always, were completely ignored.

Taela’s hair was straight while Miyoon’s was curly. They smelt of strawberries as they made the hall look like a runway. They had mascara on along with eyeliner and lip gloss. The two of them could gave passed for twins if it weren’t for the fact that Miyoon was much taller, had a different hair style and didn’t cake her face with bb cream, foundation and blush like Taela had done.

They were still in uniform it was just theirs was customized to their liking.

Miyoon had her blazer ed, tie loosened and the first button to her shirt undone giving her a sloppy yet fashionable look.

Taela on the other hand had her clothes ordered a size smaller so that they clung tightly around her body, exposing her so called “curves.” She had her small jacket buttoned up, hoping it would give her two friends a boost and it did.

The boys continued their shameless gawking as the girls came to a stop. “See you later, girlfriend.” Taela flipped her hair over her shoulder, as they did that cheek kissing thing most people did in Europe. The males who witnessed couldn’t take the scene. It was like every hormonal teenaged boy’s dream. And although they got to see it everyday, it never sickened them. In fact every time they saw it, their emotions towards the two strengthened.

Things weren’t always like this. Sure, for Taela they were but not for her “girlfriend.”

It had been about a month ago when Miyoon first stepped into the building when this became a daily routine. At first she was uncomfortable and shyer than a baby clam. She would stumble side to side but she never fell which was a first. How could she when nearly all the boys in their school stuck by her side, offering to hold her books, do her homework, and even make her lunch.

Everyone was stunned with the transformation she had after New Year’s and a lot of people had to admit she was hot. Miyoon was always pretty and cute, but with her personality she wasn’t able to grasp the heart of many people. But with her refreshing new and y look, everyone was falling head over heels for her.

She wasn’t use to such attention unless it came from her geges or Infinite and she was beginning to like it.

She felt wanted.

She felt loved.

Admired.

Good.

Kris and the guys had to return to school leaving her alone once more. Myungsoo who had begun to date Maerah never had time anymore for Miyoon, creating another reason for her to like the new Miyoon more and all the quirks which were attached.

Before entering her class, someone came behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist as his chin rested on her shoulder. “How is my beautiful girlfriend doing this afternoon?”

“Oppa, we’re have you been?” Miyoon pointed out. Hearing the endearment taking place, her Minions, as they had titled themselves sulked and sauntered to their classes as well.

“Talking to one of my teachers.” Chunji replied as he let her go only to lace their fingers together. Holding her hand and getting to call her his at last made his insides turn. It might have taken them a while to make it official but he could have waited forever for her.

“Ms. Wu, Mr. Lee, why are you guys late again?” the teacher interrogated.

Chunji rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment as Miyoon shrugged. “Do you really want to know why my boyfriend and I were late?” she cocked a brow at him with a small smirk plastered to her face.  

Her voice sounded mischievous making the teacher think twice about his question. He cleared his throat and fixed a stack of paper on his desk. “Just don’t be late next time.”

“No promises.” She replied, dragging them to their seats in the back.

As the class dragged on, Miyoon could care less about anything the teacher was saying. She was chewing on her gum and on occasions snapping it. Mr. Jong began to feel irritated. He shook it off and continued to scribble on the board. “Miyoon, do you think you could stop that?” Chunji requested.

She turned to face him with a plain expression and snapped the gum in his face, defiantly.

He pouted and shook his head. Chunji wasn’t blind. He could see Miyoon had changed but on the inside he knew she still had to be the same girl. He didn’t care how her exterior looked all he wanted to do was be with her because she made him happy. That's all that mattered to him.

Did he like the alterations? He didn't hate them nor did he love them. He was neutral but when was having a hot girlfriend a bad thing, especially if she liked being that way.

He told Miyoon several times she didn’t need to do her hair or wear makeup but she always insisted.

And wanting to be a good and supportive boyfriend he went along with it.

Aish, this lesson is so boring, I’m definitely going to cut after this period. Miyoon continued making noises and that was it for their teacher. He dragged the chalk down the board creating that nasty screeching sound which sent shivers to each student. They clasped their ears trying to block it out.

However, Miyoon was unaffected by it. How? Because Hyunri’s voice had already made her accustomed to such an annoying and irking noise.

He spun around and glowered at Miyoon. She stood up from her seat and blew a bubble then popped it. “Out of my class this instant!”

She her teeth and scoffed, “Thanks for saving me from this horrible lesson, teach.” Miyoon grabbed her bag and gave her attention to Chunji whose brows were furrowed at her. He was not appreciating her rebellious behavior. “See you later, oppa.” She winked before kissing him on the cheek.

The girls and the guys squealed at her open display of affection which angered Mr. Jong further. “Lee Chanhee! Wu Miyoon! Detention after school!” Chunji's mouth fell to the floor for he had done nothing wrong. He blinked and soon he saw his girlfriend stalking to the front.

Miyoon walked to Mr. Jong and squinted an eye, “Are you sure that’s a wise choice? I know you haven’t forgotten who my parents are.”

“Oh, I have not forgotten. But when you’re in school, you follow my rules! Now get out!” he screamed, pointing at the door.

“Fine, just know if you put Chunji in detention with me it isn’t going to go well if we get caught.” She whispered, leaving him to think about her suggestive warning.

Mr. Jong grew red, Miyoon’s behavior was unacceptable. “Lee Chanhee, you are excused from detention. But you, Wu Miyoon, suspension!” the class fell silent.

“Even better. So I can go home now right? Seeya!” she shouted, slamming the door on her way out. As she stood in the empty corridor, Miyoon huffed. “Why is this so hard? Aish, whatever. I’ll just tell omma and appa I feel sick while I’m on suspension then.”

Miyoon pulled out her phone and frowned when her driver wasn’t answering. “Aish, seriously? What are these people getting paid for if they can’t even come when I need them.” She complained.

With nothing to do and not wanting to sit in the office until school ended, Miyoon decided to roam around the school. It was rather large so the chances of a teacher catching her were slim. And even if they did, they couldn’t do anything to her.
