Harrassment.
What She Never Told Himhow dare you.
“What a nice way to start my Christmas,” Mrs. Park grinned as she prepared breakfast.
Soon, Mrs. Lee walked in and scoped her surroundings, “Did Miyoon go home already?”
“Ani,” her mother sang. She scratched her head and went to check Mrs. Park's room and then the bathroom but she did not see the teenaged girl.
“So where is she?” Mrs. Park wiped her hands on her apron and led Mrs. Lee to Hoya's room.
The whole trip there she was trying to hold back her giggles; they came to a stop and she pressed a finger to her lips. She twisted the knob to his room and Mrs. Lee's eyes widened. Lying on the bed was her son and he was not alone.
With her back pressed against his chest and his arm relaxing over her waist, Hoya and Miyoon looked like they were a young married couple happily in love.
Mrs. Park shut the door, quietly, and the eruptions of squeals and shrieks filled the hall. “I knew those two would get along!”
“Omo, so cute! Hoya never likes sharing his things and look at him now!” Mrs. Lee cheesed.
“Ara, ara. Now let’s go get breakfast ready and leave these kids alone,” Mrs. Park instructed as they returned to the kitchen.
Suddenly, Mrs. Lee halted in her tracks. “Omma, you don’t think I’ll be a grandmother soon, do you?” she gasped.
Mrs. Park sent her a pointed look and shook her head, “Not until there’s a ring on my Miyoon’s finger, you aren’t.”
“Works for me! I’ve never seen my son talk nonetheless even look at the opposite . And now he’s sleeping with one!” she rejoiced.
“You’re making it sound like they’re doing something scandalous,” her mother commentated, whacking her head lightly with a wooden spoon.
“I’m just excited,” she defended.
“Aren’t we all?”
Hoya sighed as he slept. He felt extra warm today but he didn’t mind. He snuggled in closer to Miyoon without realizing what he was doing. His arm naturally curled tighter around her and his nose buried itself into her hair.
The foreign texture made his smelling utensil scrunch up, feeling a smidge itchy. His fingertips began to graze, softly against Miyoon’s slightly exposed stomach and at the skin-to-skin contact, he flinched. “Is this a hairless cat?” he muffled, not wishing to open his eyes. For some reason, Hoya did not wish to wake up. He was too comfortable this Christmas morning which was something that rarely happened to him.
When Miyoon shifted and her face was now practically hugging his chest while she let out a few groans, it clicked.
Hoya’s eyes flew open and to his gravest dismay, his predictions were accurate and precise. “Aish,” he gritted, biting his bottom lip. He was trying to suppress his anger and distaste by doing this but that did not last very long once Miyoon coiled an arm around his waist just as he was still doing to her.
This girl, is sleeping with random guys a game to her or something? Then Miyoon’s eyes were awake but they weren’t fully functioning. She glanced up at Hoya and then her hand reached to touch his nose and after she made her fingers look like they were walking up his nose bridge to his forehead where she finally stopped and flicked it.
“Lee Howon, babo.” She giggled before dozing off again. She thought what she had seen was a dream, actually because it involved Hoya, it was more of a nightmare to her.
“Bo? Yah!” Hoya shouted as he shoved her off the bed. He didn’t mean to push her that hard but the damage was already done. There wasn’t anything he could do about it now.
As she tumbled to the floor, dragging the blanket with her, Hoya could careless about her well being. Besides he wasn’t the one who did anything wrong. He examined his surroundings and nodded when he saw that this was indeed his room. And then the idea that he was sleeping next to Miyoon for god knows how long, caused him to shudder. He inspected himself to make sure nothing was out of place and sighed in relief.
The culprit and the one to blame here was Miyoon. “Ow, did I fall off of my bed or something?” she winced as she sat up and rubbed her head. Her elbow was sitting on the edge of the bed. Fortunately for her, the mattress was not too high from the ground so Miyoon’s landing didn’t hurt too much.
“Your bed? This isn’t even your house!” he snapped, irritated.
She froze and sulked at the recollection of where she was or more like who she was with. “Why are you bothering me so early in the morning?” she grumbled. “And I’m the nuisance how?” she muttered in, not intending for Hoya to hear. Too bad for her, he had the ears of a canine.
“Me bothering you? You are the nuisance here, Wu Miyoon. Care to check whose room you’re in?” he scoffed.
Miyoon blinked, not bothering to face him as she stared blankly at the sports awards and trophies aligned before her on a drawer. Then she was able to put two and two together. Omo, I did it again. She sheepishly turned to Hoya and swallowed.
Taking her silence as a sign that she had known she was the one at fault here, Hoya rolled his eyes, “Do you like sleeping with boys? I could sue you for ual harassment.” He threatened.
Miyoon’s eyes widened as she jumped to her feet. “Su-sue me for w-what?” she stammered, pointing at herself. “What did I do? I didn’t do anything like that to you!”
“How do you think you ended up on the floor?” he cocked a brow at her and then eyed his bed.
“Yo-you pushed me off!?” she cried out with her finger directed at him.
“This is my bed!” he retorted. “You weren’t even supposed to be here in the first place.”
“B-but, still how could you push a girl off? Aren’t you a gentleman?” she questioned.
“I am a gentleman, if I continued to let you sleep with me, do you think that would have been chivalrous of me? And with the way you slept, I thought you were a bull.” Hoya answered with a stale face. He wasn’t kidding.
“Y-yah, you’re really—”
“Really what?” he challenged, getting up as he stood in front of Miyoon. “Next time why don’t you think before you come into a boy’s room and decide to harass him.”
“If I harassed you like you said I did, why didn’t you stop me? Why didn’t you kick me out earlier? You’re a boy who couldn’t defend himself against a girl? Tch,” she snapped back. “I’m a victim here too!”
“A victim from what? You took advantage of me! Do you know how many girls want me? Do you know that I’m reserving myself for my future wife unlike you who likes sleeping with boys all the time without shame. You’re so easy. No one would want you, there’s nothing anybody in this universe would want from you. You simply have nothing any sane or insane person desires.” Hoya spat.
“Bo?! Aish, you! You, what did I ever do to you, Lee Howon!” Miyoon exclaimed. His words were always so hurtful but today they were probably his best work. She sensed tears beginning to form as she stared at the floor, not willing to meet his eyes and satisfying his sadistic behavior.
Her lips began to quiver as she was unable to control a lone tear which had hit the floor. The silence in between them was so intense, the water falling to the floor was even audible.
Hoya saw this and his jaw tightened. He didn’t mean to make her sound like a , in fact he knew he shouldn’t have said any of those things, especially the part with her sleeping with other boys.
The only time he saw her dealing with sleep and boys at the same time involved Myungsoo and he knew there was no significance to it that was just how they worked. So why did he have to point that out and exaggerate the actual situation? It was just a spur of an enraged and competitive mo
