Rallying 'Em Up.
What She Never Told Himcupid.
“Aigoo, I have to find Woohyun-ah and ask him if he wants to come too.” Miyoon grumbled as she stared at her list.
Although she didn’t prioritize the guests in the midst of all the planning, she did manage to invite Sunggyu, Dongwoo, Sungyeol and Sungjong while she was gathering supplies for the party.
These four were the easiest people to get for her. Since she saw Sungjong around campus, she had told him about her plan weeks ago. He helped her track down the rest of his hyungs starting with the two eldest.
And Sungyeol? He often hung out with the maknae being the choding he was which meant he wasn’t that hard to search for. And with him being well-known as well was beneficial for her.
All she had to do was ask them— okay more like beg them to come because they were all busy doing their own things. Just like her life, theirs moved on with or without her.
Dongwoo had opened up a dance studio off in Gwanju where he taught classes.
Sungyeol became a comedian and a radio host which was no surprise for Miyoon.
And Sunggyu was the most serious. He had become a big shot lawyer in Japan where he was currently residing and although he was in another country it didn’t matter for her. He was still somehow one of the easiest to invite.
Kim Sunggyu was the oldest and Miyoon wanted to make sure he was absolutely there for sure. He was almost like a big brother to Myungsoo and how sad would it be if he was a no show? Therefore he was the second one she made contact with after the maknae. She had called him over the phone and when he told her he was busy with work, Miyoon wasn't going to accept that.
Then the following weekend came; she booked a flight to Japan and barged into his office, declaring she would help him so that he would be able to attend the party.
And seeing that she wasn't going to return until she accomplished what she came to do, Sunggyu could only agree and let her help. To his surprise, she knew more than he had expected her to know. It was clear to him that she was not the same Wu Miyoon she was back then.
The one who never gave a single damn to her studies like she used to be when she was younger and he found that notable and rather impressive.
After achieving in getting Sunggyu to come, getting Dongwoo to come required less brain. How come? Because the only way he agreed to go was if Miyoon attended three consecutive classes of his. She was never really good dancer but hey, that was why there were dance classes.
She reluctantly agreed and although it was humiliating for her, Miyoon held up her end of the bargain and so did he.
But the thing about Dongwoo was that he was already in once she had mentioned the word party to him.
As long as there was a party, he was there. Especially if it was for one of his best friends. He just threw in the classes thing to punish Miyoon for never bothering to contact him. After she had arrived he had already cleared and cancelled all lessons specifically on that date. Finding this out, of course Miyoon was infuriated but it was whatever now.
At least he was the only person she knew who witnessed her looking like a complete dork.
Having three out of six, Miyoon was more than ecstatic. It was easier than she thought it would be.
When it was time to invite Sungyeol, Miyoon was ten times more embarrassed than she was with Dongwoo. She had met the choding several times but he insisted on making things more fun or else he wouldn’t go.
Therefore he forced Miyoon to go up on a comedic stage with him. It wasn’t be totally bad Miyoon thought since he would be up there with her. But she was wrong.
Yeah Sungyeol was up with her on the stage but only to introduce her. Once he joined the audience, Miyoon was a mess.
She failed horribly since studying to be a doctor drained all the funny jokes out of her. All she could do was tell lame knock-knock jokes which weren’t crowd pleasers unless the crowd consisted of five year olds. And as Miyoon exited the stage in shame she heard nothing but crickets. She buried her face into her hands not wanting anyone to see her.
She could never forget it.
Then Sungyeol grinned and wrapped his arm around her shoulders. Just like Dongwoo, he only did it as a punishment and Miyoon was ready to go ballistic.
The things she did for Myungsoo. But love makes one do crazy things. And that’s what happened to Miyoon.
From the beginning she predicted that she wouldn't have a problem with five out of the six males. She was positive that she could get them to come. But she needed six for six if she wanted this to be perfect. Meaning Lee Howon was not an option. She couldn't pick and choose. It had to be all of them or none of them. It was only fair.
It was funny how Miyoon had already invited most of Myungsoo’s friends with the exception of Woohyun whom she could never catch at the right time since his working schedule was never consistent and Hoya.
She didn't even want to get started o
