Feeling the vibration, Taeyeon searched for her phone in her pocket and cleared before she answer the call.

“Hello?”

‘Taeyeon-unnie, sorry for calling so early. I just wanted to remind you that you have a meeting at 9:30. Make sure to come prepare.”

Taeyeon half heard what the other girl said as she rubbed her eyes and checked what time it was.

6:30 A.M

“I know, Seohyunah. I’ll meet you at 8. I’ll pick you up.”

“No, no, no, I am your secretary. I should be the one picking you up.”

Taeyeon chuckled quietly, trying not to wake Jessica up.. “It’s okay. I’ll pick you up. I’ll see you then, okay?”

Seohyun sighed. “Okay then. I’ll get things ready for your meeting. I’ll see you!’

Taeyeon bid goodbye and hung up. She sighed and put her phone in her pocket. Her head tilted right and saw a beautiful sight. She smiled softly then gently caressed Jessica’s cheeks and kissed the girl on her forehead. ‘Saranghae’

Taeyeon soundlessly moved her arm out and grabbed a pillow to support Jessica’s head. She picked up her blue plaid and exited the room after leaving a note for Jessica. When she came out from the room, Taeyeon spotted Soyeon in the kitchen making coffee for herself.

“Good morning,” Taeyeon said brightly, stepping toward Soyeon.

Soyeon turned around, a little surprised to see Taeyeon waking up so early. “Oh, Taeyeon, good morning,” Soyeon smiled and offered Taeyeon some coffee but the girl passed.

Taeyeon excused herself to leave for an appointment; she halted when she heard Soyeon’s voice interrupted her steps.  

“Taeyeon,” Soyeon called.

Taeyeon turned around. “Yes?”

“I know why you agreed to be the nominee for the CEO spot. Just don’t lose yourself and forget who you are when you’re there. It’s tough, competitive, and a bit crazy. Don’t act on people’s order or be reckless. You know who you are and be like that, okay? If you don’t, that Jung, that you love so much, will probably get hurt.”

Taeyeon took in what Soyeon said and nodded. “In other words, don’t be the second Kwon Yuri.”

Soyeon chuckled and nodded. “Yes. Be who you are. I don’t want to see the same thing being written again with Jessica. It’s a pain for me, and it is pretty painful for her.”

Taeyeon sighed, furrowing her eyebrows. A worried expression was plastered on her face. “I promise. I won’t follow the wrong footsteps.”

Soyeon smiled and patted Taeyeon on the shoulder. “You really are a great person,” Soyeon suddenly complimented Taeyeon which made her blushed.

“Ah..I-..I....T-Thank you.”

Soyeon chuckled again and told Taeyeon to get going with her appointment. ‘I hope everything ends well...I hope I don’t jinx myself..’

Taeyeon drove to the hotel she is currently staying at and parked her car. She walked up to her room and went straight to the bathroom to shower. Taeyeon closed her eyes to feel the water droplets hit her body a million time; she felt relaxed.

‘What should I do to make Jessica feel assure that I won’t be like Yuri? I know that I told her not to worry and trust me, but I don’t even know if she really is certain.....I don’t even know myself....’ Taeyeon shut off the water faucet and sighed. ‘I don’t even know if I won’t turn into Yuri.......Aish! Kim Taeyeon. You are YOU! Don’t let Kwon Sangwoo change you into someone you’re not. You love Jessica Jung and that is all that matters. That was the reason why you even entered this hell. I need to keep that in mind...if I do, I won’t lose myself...’

7:58 A.M-Seohyun's house

Taeyeon smiled when she saw a figure waving at her as she drove closer. She unlocked the door and the girl entered. “Hello, you look great today, my secretary. People are going to be so jealous when they see you,” Taeyeon chuckled seeing a small smile creeping up from Seohyun’s lips.

“Unnie, are you ready, wait, Ms. Kim, are you ready for today? It will be your first meeting with all of those thirsty tigers. They are going to interrogate the heck out of you.” Seohyun took out some of the files and read them to Taeyeon. “Also, remember their names and faces. Mr. Kwon stated that you--”
