March 21

It had been a week already that Taeyeon was away from home and Jessica. She felt lonely but thank goodness there was Seohyun next to her. Her phone was confiscated, since Mr. Kwon wanted no one to know about this and that Taeyeon would not be distracted from learning, which made Taeyeon’s heart more yearning and empty.

“Taeyeonie,” Seohyun called from the kitchen, “can you help me get some dishes out?”

Taeyeon obediently walked over and helped the younger girl. “Seohyunah, do you have a boyfriend or girlfriend?” Taeyeon suddenly asked. They have been living together for a week or so now; Taeyeon wanted to know more about Seohyun.

Seohyun shyly blushed as she looked away to ignore the question. Questions were popping out of Taeyeon’s head,  wondering why the girl was not answering her questions.

“I’ll take that as a no?” Taeyeon asked, having a tone of uncertain.

Seohyun looked down the foods that she made and nodded. “I have actually never dated anyone...We would meet up and stuff but I felt nothing for them..I just don’t know..”

Taeyeon smiled, happy that the younger girl was opening up to her. “That’s odd.. You’re like the ideal girlfriend and wife..You’re pretty, smart, caring, good at cooking, have a good personality..That’s like 100 point right there.” Taeyeon grinned seeing how the younger girl was blushing from all the compliments. “I’ll introduced you to someone..Don’t worry.”

Seohyun giggled and handed Taeyeon her foods.

March 25th

“Unnie, you’re wife is on!” Seohyun called the older girl so she won’t miss a single minute of it.

Taeyeon ran out to the living room and hopped onto the couch. Her smiled was brighter than the sun seeing Jessica on screen.

“Daebak..her dramas are always daebak,” Seohyun commented, admiring the actress.

Taeyeon grinned happily, peacefully and proudly watching her wife.

“I hope this will give you the motivation to ace tomorrow’s test.”

Taeyeon nodded like a cute little kid.

March 29th

“Where are we going?” Taeyeon asked, getting in the car.

“Upgrading your clothes and fashion.. Let’s go, let's go unnie!!!” Seohyun urged the girl. When Taeyeon got in the car, Seohyun stepped on the gas pedal and dashed away.

April 11th

After all that training, today was the day that she would be able to break free and go home. Taeyeon exited the car after Seohyun put out the brake. She went to the back and got her suitcase.

“Thanks Seohyunah. I’ll see you in a few days,” Taeyeon said as she came in for a hug. “Make sure you come to the company and be right next to me..”

Seohyun nodded as she hugged Taeyeon tighter.

They both pulled away and Seohyun went into her car then drove off.

After sighing and seeing the car drove off, Taeyeon looked up and saw the house and smiled. “I’m home..I’m back..” She mumbled those words as she walked toward it and unlocked the gate. She went up the steps and unlocked the entrance door. The door clicked and Taeyeon peaked her head inside expecting to see someone, but the house was empty. It was 1 P.M. She thought that at least Krystal would be home.

Taeyeon had missed everyone so dearly. She was slightly disappointed and sad when she didn’t see anyone. Scanning the interior of the house, everything seem to be the same from the day that she left. It was only a month, but it felt forever.

She walked straight to Jessica’s room and entered it. She glanced around to see everything at the same place. Her feet stepped near Jessica’s desk and saw the post-it notes that she wrote for the girl all stacked up neatly with a reply to them.

“Jessica, remember to eat more and take care of your health! I know you’re busy but health is the most important thing! EAT EAT EAT!”

Reply: “ You are the one who need to take care of your health. Be healthy and strong when I see you again or I’ll be sad.”

“I can’t wait to see you. I’ll miss you.”

Reply: “I’ll miss you too...Come home soon.”

“Thank you. Thank you for everything :)”

    Reply: “No...Thank YOU for everything..Come back soon~ (^_^)”

‘I never got to say this to you..But, I really love you. Thank you, my number one wife :3 <3’

    Reply: “I’m sorry...I really like you...You’re the best wife that I will ever have...But...I don’t know if I’m capable to love anybody..’

Taeyeon read all of the other ones but she held onto that reply. “Not capable of loving anybody...What are you talking about, pabo...You have more rights to love than to not..” Taeyeon uttered bitterly. She sighed and set the post it note down the table then exited the room. Taeyeon grabbed her car’s key then took off.

Mr. Kwon waited inside his office anxiously when Seohyun informed him that Taeyeon was on her way to meet him. As he reached for his cup of coffee, his secretary came in and moved to the side to show him that his guest had came. She bowed and retreat back to her original place, leaving the two there to converse.

Taeyeon bowed first then took a seat across from Mr. Kwon.

“How are you?” he asked her softly.

“Good. Thank you for asking. How have you been?”

“Perfect.” Mr. Kwon smiled, seeing his daughter looking lovely as ever after a month of not seeing her. After a moment of silence, Mr.Kwon cleared his throat to continue the conversation. “I’m planning to introduce you tomorrow at an event. Are you ready for it?” Mr. Kwon asked Taeyeon. He could sense her nervousness and reluctantness when she replied with a ‘yes’. “There will be a lot of people and reporters..I hope that you’re prepare for it.”

Taeyeon nodded her head feeling scared but ready. She was trained over the month to talk to people and act like a chaebol.

“The stock market price may fall a little bit but that’s alright. It will be a busy week or even month depends on how much the reporter wants to know about you. You will be competing with Yuri for the seat...I know that you can do it.”

“Mr. Kwon, does she know about this?” Taeyeon asked, curious and slightly looking forward to the girl’s reaction.

“No..She will tomorrow. Don’t worry about her. Just worry about yourself,” Mr. Kwon replied.

Taeyeon nodded again and took her leave after the conversation ended. There was nothing that she could talk about with the man. It was just plain awkward and she felt so far away from him. It was like they were trying to talk to each other with a wall in between them.

So close yet so far. It will be tough later on to face him....Taeyeon thought as she walked out of the building.

Taeyeon parked her car outside a house and waited for a person that she have a date with.

She was lost in thoughts until she heard a knock on the window.

“UNNIE!”

“HARA!!” Taeyeon said with enthusiasm as Hara came in the car. They hugged for quite a long time then pulled apart.
