David picked key and I up from the airport. I made the decision to stop at my house before I went to see my dad. While I was in my room changing, I could hear David and Key talking to each other. In Korean.

Translation:

“I don’t like him either,” David told Key.

Key rose an eyebrow, “Why don’t you like him?”

“He doesn’t treat Ellie right.”

“Do you like Ellie?”

“I still do like her. But I would rather her be with you, than Richard.”

Key nodded.

I walked out of the room, “I’m ready..David, take me to my father. Key stay here.”

“Alright I’ll wait here.”

David took me to my father office. I walked in the office to find Richard and my dad at the table. Richard smirked at me as if to say see I told you so.

I rolled my eyes.

“Elaina, please have a seat,” My dad pointed to the seat.

I sat down and moved my chair far away from Richard.

“I don’t know where to start with you Elaina. First you run off to California, then you get engaged..to this Key boy.”

“I don’t see anything wrong with that,” I said calmly.

“We’re moving the wedding up to next month.”

“Ok that’s fine, I just won’t show up.”

“You will be there Ellie.”

“Yeah, if it’s me and Key at the alter.”

“You’re marrying Richard. Not Key.”

“The hell I am!!!” I got out of my chair and started to storm out of the room.

“If you don’t do it,” My dad started.

“If I don’t do it, then what?”

“I will no longer consider you my daughter.”

“You’re kidding me!”

“I won’t be disrespected. If you want to live your life and fail, GO! I don’t want to have any part in it!”

“But dad!” I started to cry.

“Tell me what you’re going to do.”

“I’ll..I’ll marry Richard.”

“I’m glad to hear that.”

Why do I always get screwed over in the end?
