When we left the building, I made Key take us back to his house.

“He is your fiancé’s best friend?!” Key nearly spit up the water he was drinking.

“Unfortunately. I hate them both, but I think I hate my fiancé more.”

Key slumped down on his couch and closed his eyes.

“What are you thinking?” I sat down next to him.

“Why don’t we run away? To a place no one would expect? Australia?”

“Key you can’t be serious? What are we gonna do in Australia?”

“Marry me.”

“What?!” I exclaimed.

“Elaina, will you marry me?”
