December 23^rd; 10:39 AM

“Ellie, wake up?” I heard Honey’s voice.

“You again? When are you gonna understand never to interrupt my sleep?” I rolled over on the couch.

“Well if you had answered my text and phone calls I wouldn’t have to come over here,” Honey said.

“Blah blah blah,” I said patting my jeans looking for my phone.

“AHH!! Where is it?” I began to look in between the couch for my phone.

“You lost it didn’t you?” Honey stood there with her arms folded.

“Hey! I didn’t lose it.....I just don’t remember where I put it. They are two totally different things.”

“Hmph, ok whatever you say.”

“I know where it is! I think I left it in David’s sweater! I’ll just go and get it,” I said heading towards David’s room.

“Is he sleeping?” Honey asked sitting on the couch.

“No. He’s at work..which reminds me..how did you get in here?”

Honey smiled, “I never gave David back his spare key.”

I stepped into David’s room, “You’re so sneaky.”

“I’ll take that as a compliment.”

I went into David’s closet and started to look for the sweater that I barrowed from him. When I felt my foot brush against something I looked down. That’s when I saw a package addressed to me from Key.

“Hm?” I kneeled down and looked at the package. I noticed it was already open.

Why would David have my package? And why would he open it?

I looked inside and found a necklace inside. It was a necklace that had an elephant and key charm on it.

Aww..he remembered I loved elephants..and the key....it’s meant to represent Key..this is what he was talking about when he said he would mail me something.

“Why would David hide this from me?” I whispered to myself.

Should I just take it? No..he would probably think I was snooping around in his room. Besides..maybe he’s holding it until Christmas. That must be it. I’ll just leave it here and pretend I didn’t see it.

I went back to looking for the sweater that I barrowed from David. I found the sweater, but there was no phone in it. I sighed and walked out of the room.

“I found your phone!!” Honey came right outside of David’s room.

“Where was it?”

“On the kitchen table.”

How did it end up there?

30 Minutes later.

I was on my laptop surfing the internet when I noticed Key instant messaged me.

Key: hi ellie

Ellie: Heyy Key! =D

Aren’t you supposed to be busy?

Key: nope today we r on break ^^

Ellie: That’s good! Get lots of sleep.

Key: did u get it?

Ellie: ??

Key: ur present i sent in the mail

Ellie: I did..I LOVE it..Thanks Key =)

Key: ur welcome..ill talk to u later. we r about to go out to eat lunch

Ellie: Ok bye!

KEY’S P.O.V

8:10 PM

“Jonghyun..let me barrow your phone,” I asked on our way back from dinner.

“Didn’t you get your phone back?”

“I need to call Honey.”

“Why?” Jonghyun ask defensively.

“To ask her something about Ellie.”

“Fine,” Jonghyun handed me the phone.

I’ll call when we get back to the hotel.

HONEY’S P.O.V

8:34 PM

I was watching tv when my phone rang. I looked at my phone and saw Jonghyun’s number.

What could he possibly want?

“Hello,” I answered.

“Honey,” A voice which did not belong to Jonghyun answered.

“Key?”

“Uh huh. On Christmas we’re coming home and I want to surprise Ellie.”

“I thought you had work?”

“They decided to give us the holiday off.”

“Say no more..leave the rest to me..”

DAVID’S P.O.V

I stood outside the building that I was supposed to enter 10 minutes ago. I didn’t want to go inside. I took out my phone and looked at the wallpaper of Ellie sleeping on me. I sighed.

Why did you have to be born into such a good family?

READER’S P.O.V

David walked into the office. Inside a lady was sitting in her chair behind her desk facing the glass window. She didn’t turn around to face David, but instead kept her eyes on the city in front of her.

“David, have you gotten that girl to fall for you at all?” A lady asked David

“No..I don’t think Ellie likes me yet,” David sighed.

“Well..what’s taking you so long?”

“I don’t know I..”

“Don’t tell me you fell for her?”

David kept silent.

“You..you did didn’t you! That wasn’t part of the plan David. We worked so hard for this..and you’re going to let your feelings get in the way?”

“No. I won’t. I’ll finish what I’ve started.”

“That’s what I want to hear. Does she trust you yet?”

“She’s living in the house with me.”

“Not bad David..not bad.”

Alright I know I've been neglecting my story...but now that I'm on break I will have time to update.
