Despite being on bad terms, Mingyu and I eased up so we don't avoid each other anymore. I stick to the hangout place a lot these days and don't really attend the classes. I spend my time there reading books. I've finished about six books in less than a week. 

At times I do attend classes, it's always the same old boring style of teaching. Nothing new really happens these days. Sometimes I think, what's the point of going to school if I'm just one of the many useless people here? 

"Attention, students!" A different teacher came into our classroom while we were in the middle of a lesson. "Announcements! Announcements!"

Everyone sat up in their seats, waiting for whatever news to be said. "You all know what time of the year it is." Then, everyone got excited. I was confused since I did come during the middle of the school year here. "It's time for the school fest!"

I frowned. This school does that? What a hassle... Everyone else cheered on it. School festivals are times where anyone is welcome to come in the school while the school shows off the students' skills or whatever. I don't really have anything to show off. I don't even like crowds because I'm not meant for the public. 

"What are we doing this year?", a classmate asked.

"Last year we brought celebrities in!", a different classmate  said. "I even had a picture with them!"

"Can we bring a fire truck in?"

"Let's make a ball pit in our classroom!"

Everyone's saying their suggestion left and right. I can't really keep up with them because we didn't have festivals in my old school.

"Okay, okay, settle down, everyone. Our main event for this year is..." The teacher held on to that suspense for a while before continuing. "We're going to have our very own school beauty pageant!"

"Ehhhh~" The boys complained while the girls were excited. 

"That's so boring!", one of the boys said.

"Shut up! Don't you like seeing beautiful girls?", one of the girls said. "Who knows, we might even have a bikini contest." The boys then became excited at that.

The teacher cleared his throat. "Ehem. We won't be allowing bikinis in our program." The boys frowned. "However, you will be the ones designing your participants clothes!"

"WHAT?" The whole class grew noisy of complaining. 

"Aside from that, you can do whatever you want. Oh, and also, it will be held two weeks from now.", the teacher said. What?? Already? That's too short of a time. "Goodbye and thank you for your time." With that, he left.

For the rest of the time during that class, our teacher gave us time to decide on how we're going to work on the pageant. While they gathered in a circle, I stayed in my seat, reading one of my books.

"What should we do?", one of them asked.
