Please stop staring. God, I feel so uncomfortable.

"I'll be going to the restroom.", I excused myself. 

I locked myself in the cubicle. sigh. What's wrong with me today?

Five hours earlier...

"Are you sure you're fine with it?", mom asked for the millionth time.

Mom's been asking this since Mr. Kwon proposed to her. I, Park Miyoung allow Mr. Kwon to be my new dad. It's been a while since I had one anyways. Now, mom asked again while we're on our way to school.

"Mom, do you even have to ask that again?", I told her. "It's love. You do love him, right?"

"Of course, I do. Why would I say yes if I didn't?"

I chuckled. "Everything's fine, mom. Dad's watching us. I'm sure he's happy for you."

"Your dad,..." Mom smiled sadly. "He would be, right?"

"Yes. Now, stop worrying about your decision to marry Mr. Kwon and let's face the present."

"You're right. Without you, I would never stop worrying."

"And without you,  I would be eating garbage. Your food's the best!"

Mom laughed. "I love you, hun."

I smiled at her. "Love you too, mom."

Mom pulled the  car over as we reached school. "Before you forget, we're meeting them at 12.", mom reminded me. 

"Got it. Bye, mom.", I said.

"Bye, hun." Then she was away.

And the next scene of the day, my life in hell. As soon as I got in school, Gyuri and her es took grab of me.

"Oh, Miyoung-ah, I heard you're leaving for lunch today.", she said.

"Aww, who would we sit with now?", the other said.

Sit with? Girl, you don't even sit with me. You steal my money and eat the ing garbage they serve here. 

"I bet she's off to meet her boyfriend."

"*gasps* She has a boyfriend?"

"Miyoung-ah, are you meeting your boyfriend?", Gyuri asked.

I just went with the act."Yeah, I am. Now, if you excuse me, I'd like to go to my seat."

But just as I was going there, Jaewoo was sitting there.

"Move.", I told him.

He just looked at me and scoffed. "Yah, Park Miyoung, can't you say it a bit nicer?"

"Ah, sorry. Was I being rude? I apologize for my actions  but could you move?"

"Aish, this girl. Where's the please  I want to hear?"

I sighed. "Could you please move?"

He stood up and messed with my hair. "That's my girl."

The rest of the day was full of Jaewoo being a jerk and Gyuri's irritating comments that nobody even cares about. School would've been great if they didn't exist here.

Soon came 12 o'clock. I came out of the classroom when I got called. My mom was already outside the classroom and she handed me my black dress. "Wear this.", she said.

"Woah, mom. We're just eating lunch.", I said. "I don't need to change."

"Come on,", she said. "We're going here." 

She showed me her phone. On it is the address of the restaurant we'll go to. Yukiyama. Isn't that the new Japanese restaurant? I heard it's expensive, though.

I went to the restroom and changed.

"Mom, I don't have shoes to change into.", I told mom when I got out.

"That's fine, we have to go now." Mom grabbed my hand and lead me into the car. Mom's really excited. 

We arrived there but the Mr. Kwon wasn't there yet. I told mom I'd fix myself more. When I got inside the restroom, I suddenly felt like this was a bad idea. I felt like betraying dad. I know I told mom that dad's probably happy for her but it still felt bad. I started growing anxious over this whole new marriage thing
