"Jimin, are you almost ready?"

"Yeah! Give me a sec."

I looked at my watch which read six-thirty in the afternoon. The party started at seven so I wanted to get there in time and not show up late like how my family usually does. In fact, I don't know if we've ever arrived early to a party in our entire life.

"Jimin come on, how long does it take to fix your hair?"

"I'm coming, I'm coming. Sheesh." Jimin said walking down the stairs of our house, each step he makes causing a creak. He had on a black button up shirt with black pants, paired up with the new shoes I was able to buy. He had his hair styled up and looked casually formal, not overdoing anything.

"Don't you look handsome." I said with a laugh while he came up to me.

He ruffled my hair with a smirk. "As do you my little bro."

"Ya, wanna get smacked."

"Well you are a guy, are you not?" He replied with a wink.

"Unfortunately." I was wearing practically the same thing as Jimin, except my shirt was dark blue and my hair was swept to the side. Other than that, we might as well be the same person.

"So where is this party?" Jimin asked throwing his watch on.

"Sunggyu's house. He doesn't live too far if I remember correctly."

"Well than what's with the rush. We still got a good half hour left."

"Yeah well I don't want to show up late like we always do." I said fixing my self over one last time.

Jimin came over and pulled me into a side hug, messing up my hair. "Please, we wouldn't be the Park family if we didn't show up fashionably late."

"Ya, stop it! You're lucky infinite even invited you too. Now let's go, unnie's waiting outside for us." I said refixing my hair.

Jimin laughed and we both walked out of the house and got into my aunt's car. I told her the adress for Sunggyu's house while she entered it into the GPS and started down the road to drop me and Jimin off there. Infinite was holding their famous New Year's Eve party, which everyone in the school knows of except me. I only found out last minute by Sunggyu and he even invited Jimin to come along which I was thankful for. I don't know how many people are going to be there, but I assume quite a lot since this is infinite were talking about. They're probably going to be hanging out with various different people so I have Jimin to keep me company.

We traveled singing along to music in the beginning but it soon became chaos when we hit traffic. I don't know where all the cars suddenly came from but we really didn't need this. My aunt was trying to figure out another way to reach his house to avoid the traffic, which she did successfully, until we got lost from there.

"Wait hold on, it's re-routing again." She said scanning the GPS.

"That's like the fifth time it's done that!"

"Where are we? It looks like were in the middle of no where." Jimin pointed out.

I looked at my watch and saw there was only ten minutes left till seven. I rubbed my face in my hands. "Why can't we ever just arrive on time?"

"Don't worry we'll make it in time." Jimin replied.

"Ya, this is all your fault."

"My fault?"

"I wanted to leave 15 minutes before but someone couldn't decided what to wear. Like you even have a lot to choose from." I said rolling my eyes.

"Ya, I wanna look my best. What other time am I going to meet these people you go to school with, huh?" He ruffled my hair, messing it up once again.

"Hands off the hair! Unnie, how much longer?" I whined.

"Hopefully a couple of minutes according to this thing," she said pointing at the GPS, "I think we're going to make it in time."

Boy did we make it in time, not. We kind of went over the acceptable fashionably late time slot as well, showing up a little over half hour late. As soon as she pulled up to the place, which was massive like Myungsoo's, me and Jimin raced into the house. There were two people in suit waiting outside who opened the doors for us. We both bowed and entered into the house, a wave of loud music and people hitting us right away. Even though we're late, I doubt anyone noticed.

There were hundreds of people in here, boys and girls of all different ages making me question if Eunji was here or not. Nevertheless, I took a good look around his house, trying to figure out the layout. Currently, we were in the lobby/entrance of the house and continuing on further was the living room that was transformed into the dance room where the majority of the people were. To the right of that was the kitchen where they were serving drinks and food to everyone.

"I think I know where I want to go." I yelled over the music to Jimin.

"Where?"

I pointed to the food on display, Jimin following my movement. As soon as he saw the food, his eye grew wide and he nodded his head vigorously.

"Meet you there!" He yelled while speeding off to the food, making me chuckle. I guess we're brother and sister for a reason.

Unlike Jimin, I slowly made my way to the kitchen, greeting a few people who I recognized at school or had the same classes with. It was funny, they kept saying things like the final member finally showed up and things like that. It made me realize the impact infinite has on the school and because of them, I'm probably a lot more well know than I would've been if I hadn't ended up dorming with them.

I finally made my way to counter with all the food, pulling up a seat next to Jimin who was mid way through stuffing his face. When he noticed my presence, he looked over to me and started handing me all these different types of desserts.

"This is the best one so far!" He said with a mouth full, pointing at the chocolate covered cake. I shook my head but took a bite of the cake, my eyes closing in delight.

We continued our raid of the food, acting like food critics and giving each dessert we tasted a score out of ten. Most of the food was above a seven so it was all pretty delicious. But besides the food, we were able to hang out and just enjoy each others company which we haven't been able to do in awhile.

"Hey, Jimin!"

Both mine and Jimin's head whipped around to the voice. I discreetly smacked Jimin on the leg, letting him know he isn't Jimin anymore. He seemed to take the hint as he quickly went back to eating the food.

"Hey!" I said to Sunggyu who was walking up to us.

"Glad to see you finally made it," His eyes shifted to Jimin beside me, "is this your brother?"

"Yeah, Sooyoung, I'd like you to meet my friend Sunggyu, the one holding the party."

Jimin swiveled back around and bowed to him. "Nice to meet you. Quite a nice place you got here."

"Thank you. It's nice to finally meet you." Sunggyu said while returning the bow.

"Just wondering, how many people are here?" I asked looking around the packed house.

"Couple hundred, not to sure. Though the rest of infinite is on second floor, at least most of them if you wanted to know."

"Thanks, I'll make sure to say hi."

"Sunggyu! Over here!" Some man's voice roared threw the crowd.

"I'll see you guys around." Sunggyu said before walking off, disappearing into the crowd.

"I like him. He seems responsible." Jimin said, stuffing another piece of cake in his mouth.

"I gue-"

"Jimin!"

I turned my head in the direction but got cut short when a pair of arms engulfed me in a hug. After 5 seconds, he released me allowing me to see the giant tree that is Chanyeol.

"Hey! I didn't know you'd be here."

"I get around. Anyway, when did you get here, I was looking for you since I got here. I thought you would of been with the rest of infinite."

"I would of been here a lot sooner if we didn't get lost."

"We?"

"Me and my brother, oh." It dawned on me that Chanyeol's never met my brother before. "Uh, just call him Sooyoung for now okay?" Chanyeol nodded his head while I turned to Jimin who was sitting quietly during the whole conversation.

"I'd like you to meet my other friend, Chanyeol."

"It's nice to meet you." Chanyeol said bowing.

"Chanyeol? This is Chanyeol?" Jimin asked, squinting his eyes. In that moment, I knew I messed up big time.

"Chanyeol?" I said quickly.

"Yeah?"

"Run."

Chanyeol looked at me confused. "What, why?"

"Just run. Now."

Jimin got up from his seat and looked like he was about to pounce on him. "You think you're real funny don't-"

"Chanyeol run!"

After giving a push, Chanyeol took off running in the opposite direction with Jimin chasing after him, yelling incoherent things at him. I felt bad but at the same time couldn't help but laugh. Poor Chanyeol, he's probably so confused.

For the next hour or so, I walked around the house more. I couldn't help but take my phone out and take pictures of little Sunggyu hanged up in the picture frames around the house. The interior was also similar to Myungsoo's house but if I had to guess, Sunggyu's house is bigger. I encountered a lot more rooms and hallways here.

After my sight seeing, I headed up to the second floor, finding the bigger dance floor area with even more people here than on the first. Everyone was dancing along to the song that was playing while on the huge flat screen, there was countdown clock, ticking away the minutes until the new year. According to the clock, only three hours, five mintues, and thirty-eight seconds left.

I slowly made my way to the dance floor, looking for anyone that I knew which was difficult. Everyone was jumping up and down and the lights were off, with some flashing. This place looked like a night club.

I noticed there was a circle around the center of the floor. Wanting to know what was going on, I squeezed my way through the crowd to the front line. Once I was there, I saw a guy breaking down some impressive dance moves. I started jumping up and down with the crowd, cheering the guy on. My eyes widened when he turned around, facing my direction, as I realized that it was Hoya. I watched in awe as he performed the rest of the dance, finishing it off with a highly advanced looking move, causing the crowd to roar and cheer. Subconsciously, I clapped and 'wooed' with the crowd as well. Hoya bowed to everyone like a professional, smiling a wide smile. When he looked up, our eyes locked and he waved at me. I gave him a thumbs up before the crowd swallowed us up when another song came on. I tried to find him again, but it was nearly impossible.

As the next song played on, everyone started dancing again. Not really on Hoya's level of dancing and me just being an awkward dancer by myself, I started walking off the dance floor. Just as I was about to exit the crowd, a hand grabbed mine and pulled me right back in, spinning me around. 

"Where do you think you're going? The party's here." Woohyun asked with a smirk.

I rolled my eyes, a smile finding it way on my face. "I'm not much of a party person."

"Well let's see how much you improved than."

For what seemed like forever, I danced with Woohyun on the dance floor, nothing too skilled but just having fun. If I were to judge, my dance skills didn't improve much but Woohyun didn't judge me. We probably danced to at least fifteen different songs. We only left when I started to get thristy, going to get some water.

When we got to the table, I grabbed a water bottle and chugged half of it in one gulp. We started talking about whatever was on our minds, sharing a few laughs before Dongwoo, Sungjong, and Sungyeol showed up.

"Jimin, what's up!" Dongwoo said coming up to me and giving me a hug.

"Nothing much. How've you guys been?"

"Good. Did you taste the food here? It's amazing." Sungjong said.

"Yeah, I did."

"Well it's not like Sunggyu cooked anything. The house would have been on fire before the party started." Sungyeol commented causing everyone to laugh.

"So what have you guys been doing?" I asked.

"Me and Dongwoo are being slaved around, that's what." Sungjong said blowing hair out of his face.

I raised an eyebrow. "Slaved?"

"This hyung is trying to get this girls attention yet he just won't go up to her so he's forcing us to help him." Sungjong said rolling his eyes at Sungyeol.

"Ya, be quiet. I'm not slaving you around." Sungyeol retorted.

Sungjong shook his head. "Yea, ok. You can talk to her yourself than."

"It's not that easy. Look Jimin," Sungyeol said putting an arm around my shoulder, "right there, see her?"

I followed his direction and found the girl. "Yeah?"

"Isn't she hot? How am I supposed to just walk up to her? Like do you see her face?"

"Uhh-"

"Figure it out yourself." Woohyun said pulling me right next to him.

"Why, can I not get his opinion?" Sungyeol asked Woohyun.

"Nope. We're off. See you guys around." Woohyun replied pulling me off to another part of the house, leaving behind the three. We entered a place that wasn't as crowded but there were still a lot of people. I think every room in this house has a least one person in it.

"Now what?" I asked.

"Whatever you want to do." He said giving me his famous smile.

"Uh, well lets see......Uh, why don't you think of something."

He laughed and put his hand to his chin. "Oh wait, close your eyes."

I narrowed my eyes at him. "Why?"

He smirked but shook his head. "Just do it."

"What are you gonna do, huh?"

He pouted. "What? You don't trust me?"

"Eh, you're iffy." I said, closing my eyes ever so slowly.

"Don't worry," He came closer and whispered, "I won't kiss you."

My eyes opened up to their regular size while my cheeks tinted pink. "Saving that for midnight, now close your eyes." He said smirking.

"Ya! What makes you think-"

"Shhh, close your eyes." He said finally coming up to me and forcing my eyelids closed.

I stood there, preparing for the unimaginable, when I felt something cold come around my neck. I opened my eyes and looked down at the chain that had a little heart pendant at the end.

"Do you like it?" Woohyun asked standing behind me with his hands resting on my shoulders.

I picked up the heart at the end which was covered in jewels, smiling. "I love it. Thank you." I said turning around and giving him a hug.

"It's nothing."

When I pulled away, Woohyun's phone started ringing. He answered and his face showed displeasure while talking. Once it finished, he put the phone back and looked up to me.

"Sunggyu needs me to help him with something real quick. Stay here. I'll be right back."

"Ok."

He started heading off, turning around once. "You better be there when I come back!"

"I don't have anywhere else to be!"

He smiled one last time before disappearing behind a wall. I looked around the area before settling on walking over to the window, looking out to the backyard. People were down there and some were setting up what looked to be fireworks. Sunggyu really went all out for this party. His backyard wasn't any less to his house, stretching out for miles it seemed decorated with flowers, bushes that were trimmed into different shapes, and lights illuminating the fields in different colors. The starry night sky made the view that much better making me taking out my phone to take another picture.

When the the phone took the picture, I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist and a chest pressed against my back, causing me to jump.

"I've been looking for you the whole time you know."

After hearing the voice, I rolled my eyes and removed his arms. "Myungsoo, there's a lot more people you can hang out with here beside me you know." I said turning around to face him, a smile playing on his lips.

"None that I want to hang out with beside you."

I pushed his chest away shaking my head. "Would you stop being so dramatic."

Before I could remove my hands, he placed his over and starts dragging me off into a different direction. "I'm not being dramatic, I'm telling the truth."

"Wait, I can't leave this spot." I said halting in my steps.

He turned around and raised an eyebrow. "Why?"

"Because Woohyun said he was coming back and told me to wait for him."

He stared at me for a good five seconds. "Better reason to leave than." He tried to drag me off but I held my ground.

"No, I told him I'd stay."

Myungsoo stared at me again before coming up to me and lifting me up bridal style, walking off where he wanted to go. "Well he lost his chance."

"Myungsoo! People are staring!" I whispered yelled at him after seeing the weird looks people were giving us.

"I should kiss you and see what looks we'll get then."

"Myungsoo!" I slapped his chest while he laughed in amusment. "Put me down now!"

"We're almost there."

After passing through different halls, we entered a crowded balcony before he settled me down. People were out here to dance to the music since the dance floor was filled to the max. I glared at Myungsoo while he just smirked at me. "Wanna tell me what we're doing here?"

"There's only a few minutes left until 12:00. I thought you'd like to watch the fireworks when they go off."

"Really? It's almost twelve?" I looked at the clock and sure enough, there was only about seven minutes left. I didn't even realize how much time went by.

"Yeah," he said looking out to the sky, "reminds me of the first dance right?"

I looked out and realized he was right, except there's no fountain and it's more of a backyard than a garden like at the hall. "Yeah, like where Chanyeol took me."

"Chanyeol? I thought you were off by yourself?" He asked suprised.

"Uh, I-I mean yeah where I went to."

He narrowed his eyes at me. "So you left me for Chanyeol?"

"W-Well, I mean, you had Eunji."

"You owe me now."

"I don't owe you anythi-"

"Jimin, there you are!" I whipped my head around to see Woohyun coming up to the both of us panting slightly. "I was looking for you everywhere." His eyes then focused on Myungsoo, his smile faltering a bit. "Oh, myung, what's up?"

Myungsoo's face resembled that of Woohyun. "Oh nothing."

Woohyun came up next to me on the other side. "Were getting ready for the countdown." I told him.

"Ah, getting ready for the fireworks." He said and nodded his head.

"1 minute left!" Someone yelled off in the distance.

"Ah, it's starting." I jumped up and down excitedly.

People around us started counting down the seconds loudly, hyping up everyone. The closer it got the louder everyone got. 

"30!"

"Jimin?"

I looked over to Woohyun. "Yeah?"

"I have to tell you something."

"What!?"

"25!"

"I...." Woohyun's words got cancelled out by the crowd.

"What?! I can't hear you!"

"I said I-"

"20!"

"What?!"

"Jimin!" Myungsoo said next to my ear before backing up a bit. I turned around and looked at Myungsoo.

"What?!"

"15!"

"I...."

"Oh my god, what are you saying?! I can't hear anything!"

"10!"

I felt my hand get tugged by Woohyun causing me to focus back on him.

"9!"

"What is it?!"

"8!"

He didnt say anything but pulled me closer.

"7!"

"W-What-"

"6!"

He leaned closer until I was pulled back and spun around, my other arm getting yanked.

"5!"

I looked up to Myungsoo who was very close to me.

"4!"

"W-What!"

"3!"

Myungsoo leaned foward toward me.

"2!"

A pair of arms wrapped around my torso and pulled me back into their chest.

"1!"

I stood there looking at both Woohyun and Myungsoo who were staring right at me.

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!" Everyone screamed, the fireworks going off up in the sky. The loud booms and different colors illuminated the sky, catching my attention. It was something alright.

My eyebrows furrowed in confusion as I looked down at the arms wrapped around me. When I turned around, I was met with a sort of angry looking Jimin.

"Oh, hey! Uh, happy new year!"

"Yeah." His eyes left me and narrowed on Woohyun and Myungsoo. "Don't mind me boys, I'm just here for my brother." He said pulling me away.

"Wait, but I was hanging-"

"Yea and that's all they get. Let's find Sunggyu. I like him."

I rolled my eyes, but laughed as I spent the rest of the night with my brother. 

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!! I hope you guys like this off the story line chapter. Let's hope 2017 is better than 2016! XD
