It had been too long since the last time you and your boyfriend just had a chill date. Ever since he went overseas on his last tour and saw all the romantic restaurants and couples who went there, he thought it was mandatory to take you to fancy places instead of just a simple movie date.

It wasn’t a bad thing, you finally got to take out all the old dresses you used to wear, but every so often you wanted to just stay indoors.

Which is why you were slightly excited when hr texted you, asking you to visit him in the studio, and you didn’t need to bring extra clothes this time (last time he had whisked you away to the five-star restaurant down the street).

You texted him and got an instant reply.

You smiled at his subtly and placed your phone into your pocket, changing into a pair of jeans and Yoongi’s old sweater (it really was yours now) and headed for their studio.

On the way there, you played a random playlist, and felt your heart skip a beat when you realised it was the playlist of his produced and written songs.

There was something about the songs he had put his work in that you loved so much. You weren’t sure if it was the words of the songs, the melody, arrangement or just the fact that Yoongi’s effort was in the mix off all the notes and lyrics of the song. But it made your heart flutter every time you heard them.

You drove down the street and you saw a small figure in front of the entertainment building. He had his hands in his pockets, and was looking down, kicking at something on the floor.

You smiled as you drove up next to him, rolling down the window.

“Hey there slacker,” you shouted so he could hear and he jerked his head up.

“Hey you,” he replied, a small smile forming across his face.

When you parked the car, you walked out and round the car toward him. “Aww were you waiting for me?” you asked when you reached him, poking his stomach.
