It was a stupid thought, however.

Couldn’t be.

You two had been cosplaying a relationship for so long, maybe your acting was making you think differently. You knew he was an . You knew he could be rude when he wanted. Of course you didn’t like him. How could you?

However, after that day at your home, you had been obliviously avoiding him. Whenever you would see him in the hallways, you would start to walk away. Whenever you heard his name come up in conversation, you tried to change the subject. Whenever you realised he was even in the same room as you, you came up with an excuse to leave the room.

Why did you go out of your way just to get out of his way?

Okay, you were lying to yourself this whole time.

But the weird thing is, after that day you think something changed in Jungkook as well.

He no longer was ignoring your texts and calls, but instead being the first to try and contact you. He would ask your friends to convey messages to you and wait for you outside your classrooms but you would steer away before he saw you. Whenever you managed to escape him, you thought you were too lucky.

But you ran out of your luck when you were cornered by three of his friends, Jimin, Taehyung and Hoseok.

“Hey Y/N,” Jimin said as they swaggered to you.

“Hi,” you replied shortly and tried to quickly dodge them but you couldn’t, they filled up the width of the hallway, leaving no room to get out.
