Late Night Break In.
Fallen Snow.
Hana was confused the next day; everyone was awfully quiet as she walked into the Kitchen. Bags were evident under Kai’s and Baekhyun’s eyes. Minseok mindlessly fiddled with the food on his plate as Yixing ate in silence, and Donghae wasn’t even there.
She frowned “Did something bad happen?”
Baekhyun jumped and turned to look at her “Goodness Hana you didn’t even make a noise.”
“Sorry.” She apologized.
Kai raised an eyebrow “I’m surprised we didn’t hear you. Come sit.”
“Is something wrong?” She asked as she took the stool at the end of the breakfast bar.
Minseok stifled a yawn “No.”
“So why is everyone being weird?” She frowned “You’re beginning to worry me.”
Baekhyun smiled at her “It’s nothing to worry about Hana.”
“Please eat your breakfast.” Yixing said without looking up from his plate.
Hana pulled the plate and glass of orange juice closer as she scrutinized what was going on. Everyone seemed either really distant or extremely exhausted. When Minseok and Hana left that morning, the three that remained looked at each other and heaved a sigh.
“You know that we can’t tell her right?” Kai frowned “If she knew she’d freak out more than she already has.”
“Half of me think it would be best if we did.” Yixing said “But… you’re right she’d panic too much.”
“I’m too tired for this.” Baekhyun sighed “I don’t know how many hours I was sat in front of her door.”
Kai ran both of his hands through his hair “I can’t believe that we managed to make sure she didn’t wake up.”
“Yeah but Donghae still isn’t up yet.” Yixing sighed “He’s shattered.”
Baekhyun shook his head “I can’t believe they had the audacity to try and break in here.”
“We’re not sure it was even them yet.” Kai said “I’m still waiting for D.O to look through the CCTV.”
“I feel sorry for Minseok.” Yixing stood up with his plate, placing it in the sink “He’s got it hard today.”
