Kai POV

"Omma!", I screamed once I got home. I don't even take time to pull of my shoes and walk straight to the livingroom. "Omma", I called again. I walked to my stepparents' sleepingroom and see my teared up mom sitting on her bed with one of our maids. "Ahjumma, thank you for staying with my mom... Could you please leave us two alone now? ", the friendly ahjumma maid left me and my mom alone. I sat down beside my mother and made her cry in my arms. "Don't cry, everything is going to be okay", I hugged my mom firmly. After a few moments the tears on her face dissapeared. "What exactly happened? ", I asked while facing my mom. She stayed silent for a moment and then spoke, "I got a call from your father's staff.  He and his secretary got into a car incident when they were on their way to a meeting", mother said while sobbing. "Where is he?", I asked. "I don't... In some hospital in China. They went abroad for a meeting with a company CEO". "How is dad right now", I caressed my mother who started crying again. "He's in coma".I felt my heart ache. I lost my bastard dad and my poor mom, I cannot and won't lose my stepfather. These moments reminded me of the days I was little. Whenever I cried because of a scar or something like that, my mother would stay with me until I was silent, and okay. But after my mom passed by I didn't have anyone by my side who'd comfort me. Now I was the one who had to stay with my crying stepmother. From the moment I lost my mother I promised myself not to cry. I can't be beside my mom, I atleast have to show my mother from the heavens that I'm grown up and strong. "Should I call the company for more information?", I whiped the tears of the older. Mother's tears stopped dropping from her cheeks. It's like she cannot shed a tear anymore because she probably cried continiously for 3 hours. "Wait I'll bring you some water, stop crying please. I'm hurt seeing you like this". I stood up. "Gomawo Jongin-ah, you're great son. I'm sure your mother is proud of you", I heard my stepmother say.

I left the house after taking care of my stepmother and having a conversation with on of the company staff members. They told me there was something they had to tell me personally, not through the phone. I drove for 30 minutes in the traffic on my motorbike, since the company is not far of our home  it didn't take long before I was in front of the huge building. Men and women in black walked in and out the building. This isn't my first time that I'm going to enter this building, but knowing the fact that my stepfather; the CEO; is in critical condition, I feel worried. I parked my motorbike in front of the building and entered the building. People started to recognize me and greeted me with respect since I'm the son of the CEO. Even though most staff members knew I was the stepson, they still respected me. I was just wearing a white shirt with jeans and a coat.  Outsiders of the company would see me as a normal student in casual clothes. As soon I was inside the building people I've never seen before approached me. "How is Miss Kim", one of them asked worriedly. "She's doing fine", I planned to go to my father's office. Compared with my father, I don't enter this building often like he did, so some staff members were suprised to see me. "Jongin-ssi, you're here. Secretary Park wants to see you", a women clothes neatly approached me and lead me to the elevator. I nodded and followed the women. Secretary Park is the closest with my father in this company, but beside the business, Secretary Park is one of the best friends of stepfather. The first person my stepparents introduced me to was secretary Park, full name: John Park. As soon I see John in front of me I bowed 90 degrees. "Jongin, boy you're here. There something we've to talk about", he hugged me after I bowed to him. "Are you okay?", he reassured me. I nodded. John and I were left alone in the huge meeting office. He lead me to one of the chairs. "You know that your father is in coma right?", he asked when I sat down. "Yes I know."He's in critical condition right now. I've spoken with the doctor in charge of your father... I'm sorry Jongin...", the older man suddenly stopped in the middle of his sentence. "What's wrong?!?!", I felt fed up.
