“Tiffany! I’m back! And I’m starving!” Taeyeon yelled as she walked in the room.

“Hm….where is she?” Taeyeon looked around and couldn’t see Tiffany anywhere.

“BOO!” Tiffany jumped up from behind the couch and latched onto Taeyeon’s back

“Hi” Taeyeon smiled and turned around to face her girlfriend

“You left me this morning meanie” Tiffany pouted

“I just had something to take care of but now I’m all yours” Taeyeon pulled Tiffany into a hug

“You better not run off” Tiffany muffled into Taeyeon’s chest

“The rest of today is reserved for you ma’am” Taeyeon playfully saluted

“So what are we going to do?” Tiffany pulled away from the hug to let Taeyeon change

“Er…….surprise” Taeyeon grinned and went to change

Tiffany stood there, wondering what Taeyeon meant. It was probably going to be something stupid like going to the gym or the shooting range.

“What a dork” Tiffany thought

“Hey! I’m starving, let’s go have lunch” Taeyeon had finished changing and saw Tiffany spacing out.

“Ugh what if she takes me to the obstacle course ew so many bugs there” Tiffany kept spacing out.

“So difficult…” Taeyeon laughed to herself and proceeded to pick Tiffany up bridal style

“Whoa! What are you doing?!” Tiffany finally snapped out of it when she felt herself off the ground

“You wouldn’t come back to your senses and I’m really hungry” Taeyeon cutely pouted

“So you had to carry me?” Tiffany giggled and wrapped her arms around Taeyeon’s neck for extra security

“You wouldn’t move” Taeyeon said and gave Tiffany a light peck on the lips

“My hero” Tiffany eye smiled and hung on.

Little did Tiffany know that Taeyeon’s heart almost skipped a beat after hearing that.

“C’mon” Taeyeon said and walked to the parking lot with Tiffany in her arms, not looking at Tiffany so she wouldn’t see the faint blush on Taeyeon’s face.

“Taetae where are we going?” Tiffany asked while looking out the window.

Turns out, Tiffany’s speculations were all wrong. Taeyeon carried her all the way to her car and drove off base, something very rare since the attacks began a few months ago.

“Getting some fresh air, you’ve been stuck on base for too long” Taeyeon said, not taking her eyes off the road

“It’s not really my fault” Tiffany teased

“I know and that’s why we’re spending the day away from all that” Taeyeon said and smiled at Tiffany.

“But where are we going? We’ve been driving for over an hour out of the city” Tiffany looked out the window, trying to figure out where they were.

“You’ll see” Taeyeon reached out and held Tiffany’s hand, receiving an eye smile.

“Surprise surprise” Tiffany mumbled under her breath

Taeyeon sensed how impatient Tiffany was and chuckled a little.

After 20 more minutes of cruising through the countryside, the car finally stopped in the middle of what seemed to be a forest.

“We’re here” Taeyeon announced, taking off her seatbelt

“Where are we?” Tiffany asked, taking her seatbelt off

“You’ll see” Taeyeon repeated herself again, not wanting to give away her surprise.

“……..” Tiffany quietly exited the car and followed Taeyeon.

“Up this path and around the corner” Taeyeon pointed at a dirt path that led into the forest.

“Are you sure it’s safe?” Tiffany questioned, afraid of another attack

“You have me” Taeyeon grabbed Tiffany’s hand and started to walk
