The next morning

It was 4:00 AM. Taeyeon and Tiffany were sleeping in bed when Taeyeon’s watch buzzed, instantly waking her up. She expertly slipped out of bed, not wanting to wake the sleeping Tiffany.

She realized that she was only in her sweatpants and went to put on a shirt before going to check her phone for any messages she missed the night before due to “busy” activities. After putting on a blue long sleeved shirt, she looked at her phone to see messages from the central system.

Captain Kim, meet with intelligence ASAP

The last message was sent not too long ago so she didn’t panic. She grabbed her wallet, keys, and gun off her desk, wrote a short note to Tiffany and tiptoed over to the bed.

“I love you my angel” Taeyeon kissed Tiffany’s forehead before leaving, locking the door behind her for safety.

“Ugh I wonder what they want……” Taeyeon said to herself while jogging out of the building towards the intelligence building.

At the intelligence building

Taeyeon got to the building in record time. She went up the elevator to the top floor where she was instructed to go by the receptionist in the lobby. When she got out of the elevator, there was only one door for her to go through.

Taeyeon cracked the door open to see if anyone was inside and indeed there was.

“Captain Kim”

“Oh….hi…I mean good morning Jiyeon! What are you doing here?” Taeyeon smiled and casually took a seat next to Jiyeon

“I called you here to give you this” Jiyeon shyly pushed a manila folder to Taeyeon

“Hm? What’s this?” Taeyeon opened the folder and saw a stack of reports on the Hwang case

“I came across these in the storage room and thought they would come in handy” Jiyeon blushed

“How did you know I was in charge of this case?” Taeyeon confusedly asked

“Um…uh…..I heard the intelligence board discussing it during a general board meeting” Jiyeon stuttered

“Okay then, do the higher ups know about this?” Taeyeon asked again

“Y..yeah”

“Cool! Thanks Jiyeon” Taeyeon gave Jiyeon a hug, causing Jiyeon to blush even harder

“No problem Captain”

“Is that it?”

“Don’t you want to look over it now?” Jiyeon wanted to spend more time with Taeyeon

“I was going to bring this over to Yuri but she hasn’t texted me back…..” Taeyeon checked her phone to see if Yuri had responded to her text message

“Ah never mind I’ll look it over now. Care to help me?” Taeyeon spread out all the documents across the table
