Yuri’s barracks

Yuri had been going to endless meetings and training sessions after the attack while Jessica stayed in bed and did company work from her iPad. She’d been taking a little break since the whole incident happened and decided it was time to go back to work, even if she couldn’t do so physically. Yuri had just returned from yet another meeting with top intelligence officials. They received reports of suspicious individuals entering the country and called Yuri in to look into it.

“I’m back” Yuri groaned as she walked through the door, she was exhausted.

“Welcome back, how was the meeting?” Jessica asked

Ever since the confrontation with Victoria, Jessica’s been nicer to Yuri and they talked way more than before (without the constant bickering).

“Boring, the intel guys mixed up the flights that the mafia hitmen were on so I spent the whole time looking over footage of babies crying, pregnant women screaming, and people rushing to get on their flights for nothing.” Yuri slumped down on the couch

“Well at least you weren’t doing anything physical” Jessica replied

“True” Yuri stood up to change out of her uniform.

Every time Jessica saw Yuri in uniform, she couldn’t take her eyes off of the soldier. She found soldier Yuri much more appealing and charming than kkab Yuri.

“How’s your work coming along? You’ve been in that position all day” Yuri noted

“It’s pretty busy. I’m trying to draft all of the agreements before tomorrow so I can send them out to my secretary” Jessica continued to type her document

“So you’ll be working all night?” Yuri put a new t shirt on

“Yeah, presumably. There’s so much to do” Jessica answered

“Is it okay if I leave you alone for a few hours tonight?”

“For what? Your meetings are over for today” Jessica looked up at Yuri who was struggling to put her jacket on

“I’m going out for dinner with a friend” Yuri said, still trying to fit her arm through the sleeve

“Victoria?” Jessica asked, hoping that it wouldn’t be her

“Yeah, I promised her a while ago. So are you cool with that? I left you dinner in the fridge” Yuri said, finally putting her arm in the sleeve

“Why wouldn’t I be?” Jessica grumbled, looking back at her iPad

“Alright then, I’ll be going now. Call me if anything comes up” Yuri walked over to Jessica and ruffled her hair before leaving.

“Grrrrrrrrrrrrr I told you to stay away from my Yuri” Jessica growled and took her phone out.

She scrolled down to Krystal’s number and pressed the green button.

“Hello?” Krystal answered

“Krys, where are you right now?” Jessica asked

“I’m just watching TV with Amber in her room” Krystal calmly replied.

Jessica remembered that Krystal had moved on base with Amber after the attack.

“Can I talk to Amber?” Jessica asked again

“Um…..sure” Krystal trailed off

“Hello? Jess?” Amber answered

“Hi Amber, can you do me a favor?”

“What is it?” Amber asked, surprised that Jessica would ask her for a favor

“Is it possible for you to trace a number….like the location?”

“Yeah” Amber replied
