Some unknown location

“Ugh…..” Taeyeon slowly regained consciousness. Her body was numb and she couldn’t feel her arms.  She shook her body a little bit and realized she was tied to a chair.

Taeyeon looked around the dimly lit room and made mental notes of her surroundings. No windows, one AC vent in the corner, one metal door, concrete walls, and….someone sitting in the corner.

“Up already?” the voice was from a woman

“……….” Taeyeon remained silent

“You don’t remember me?” Taeyeon recognized the voice

“Jiyeon” Taeyeon grunted

“Awww took you long enough to figure it out” Jiyeon stood up at walked towards Taeyeon

“What do you want?” Taeyeon struggled in the chair

“Don’t” Jiyeon pointed a gun at Taeyeon’s head

“Why” Taeyeon regained her composure

“Shut up” Jiyeon hit Taeyeon in the back of the head

“…………” Taeyeon’s training finally paid off, none of this was new to her.

“You had to get in the way didn’t you?” Jiyeon leaned in and whispered

“…….” Taeyeon said nothing, only glaring at Jiyeon

“You’re not a hero. You’re dead” Jiyeon gave Taeyeon a kiss on the cheek and walked out of the room.

Jiyeon locked the door behind her and sat down at the desk.

“Why must you be so stubborn…..” she massaged her temples and opened her laptop.

“Hm……classified…..Kim Taeyeon……” she murmured and checked her phone

“Must be Vic” Jiyeon told herself and read the message

How’s Kim?

Jiyeon scoffed as she remembered Taeyeon’s lack of cooperation

Not cooperating

Mine isn’t either.

Jiyeon sighed in disappointment. She knew X was going to take his anger out on her. The plan failed because someone had taken down the two assassins X sent to kill Tiffany and Jessica.

“What am I going to do with you Kim Taeyeon……”

Some other unknown location

“Why must you be so stupid” Victoria traced Yuri’s face with her hand.

Yuri was unconscious and currently in a bed with a bandage on her head.

“It wouldn’t be like this if you stuck with me…..do you know how much I love you?” she said

“Kwon Yuri, you’re such an idiot” Victoria kissed Yuri on the lips

Flashback

BOOM

Yuri avoided the explosion but the impact sent her flying to the ground. Because she landed so hard and her head hit the ground first, it rendered her unconscious. On top of that, someone had kicked her in the head, hard.

The thugs surrounded the unconscious Yuri. One of them had their gun pointed at her, ready to pull the trigger when someone kicked him in the stomach.

“Don’t you dare” Victoria commanded, the thugs obediently backed away

“But she….” the injured thug said

“No” Victoria picked his gun up from the ground and shot him right in the chest.

“I want her alive” she said

“What are we going to do now?” one of them asked her

“Bring her back to my place” Victoria barked out to him

The man bent down to pick Yuri up and noticed how flawless her body was.

“Stop staring, she’s mine” Victoria coldly ordered while looking at her phone

“U….understood” the man scurried away and put Yuri into Victoria’s car

“I guess I’ll take care of you” Victoria sighed and got in her car.

Back to present time

“Urgh….” Yuri opened ear eyes and squinted to adjust to the lighting of the room.

Her eyes popped open in horror when she saw Victoria’s face directly in front of hers. Worst of all, their lips were connected.

“Mrrggghhh” Yuri turned her head to break the kiss.

“Hi Yuri, how are you feeling?” Victoria retreated to her seat and innocently smiled at Yuri

“What….” Yuri tried to move her arms but they were handcuffed

“Stop struggling, it’ll hurt more” Victoria said

“Vic…..why?” Yuri looked around the room. Nothing special.

“Shhhh don’t ask” Victoria put a finger on Yuri’s lips

Yuri took advantage of the situation and bit Victoria’s finger.

“OUCH” Victoria pulled her hand away and positioned a knife at Yuri’s neck

“So it was you” Yuri scoffed

“Don’t jump to any conclusions yet, my love” Victoria smiled evilly while texting someone.

“You set me up” Yuri tried to move but felt something holding her in place

“Like I said before……” Victoria leaned closer to Yuri, pressing her body towards hers

“You should’ve chosen me” she whispered and backed away.

“…………..” Yuri felt something sharp pierce her skin and began to feel lightheaded.

“I love you Kwon Yuri” Victoria quietly said as Yuri slipped out of consciousness again.

Hwang Enterprises main branch, 18th floor office

Tiffany sat at her desk, trying to read the contract draft that was due to the legal department at the ned of the day. The words seemed to escape her mind though because there was only one thing on her mind, actually one person. Kim Taeyeon.
