Haebin entered the hall with Luhan, he was holding onto a flute of champagne as they walked together.

“But, whats with Jinhee and Minhyuk? They’re always together.”

Haebin just nodded, not knowing how to answer him.

“Are you okay with that?”

“Ya, you ask me that now? You’ve been acting all feisty with Minhyuk too.”

Luhan looked away, his eyes landed on Jaekyung, she was talking with some of her friends.

Haebin followed his gaze, she smiled slightly.

“Approach her, you two need to talk.”

“When was the last time we actually had a proper talk?” Luhan asked her.

“Wha~”

“I mean, you’re always busy and~”

“Luhan.”

“Wae? After I apologize, we’re going to be okay, but that doesn’t change the fact that we rarely talk nowadays.” Luhan defended, his eyes wide. Haebin chuckled.

“Clingy friend.”

“It’s true, so why don’t we get out and grab ice cream?”

“I should just show you the dress.” Haebin nodded. Luhan grinned at her.

“So, how do you find it?” Haebin asked as she took off her heels, Luhan looked at the almost finished dress before him.

“It’s…perfect.” His brows furrowed for a moment but he nodded to her.

“Yeah.” Haebin nodded as she sat down.

“I….After I apologize…ani, can you finish this…earlier?”

Haebin looked up, Luhan gave her a smile and sat beside her.

“My parents are coming next week, and you know how they are.”

Haebin looked at him.

“You already told them of your plans.” She stated, Luhan nodded.

“They want me to marry as early as the first week next month.”

“Luhan, that means I only have…ten days to finish.” She trailed off.

She remembered how traditional Luhan’s parents were, she winced.

“They want to meet my fiancé, not my girlfriend.” He murmured.

Haebin nodded and she leaned back against the couch.

“Arasso, I’ll..finish it by next week.” Haebin swallowed.

“Only if you don’t tire yourself too much, I would hate that to happen.” Luhan kissed the side of her head before standing.

“I’ll drive you home, I need to bring the car around.”

Haebin exhaled heavily as soon as Luhan stepped out of the room.

Minhyuk’s brows rose as Haebin went down the stairs, he was already eating his breakfast.

“Good morning…?” He said as Haebin rushed past him and grabbed a toast before grabbing her purse.

“Hi.” Haebin breathed before brushing her hair in place.

“Luhan brought you home~”

“Yes he did, I need to go now. See you later?”

“Sure, Jinhee wants to meet up.” Minhyuk said.

“That…we have to talk about, okay.” She replied before dashing towards the front door.

“O…kay.” Minhyuk just shook his head as he heard Haebin’s car come to life outside.

Haebin shook her head as she knocked on the door, after a few seconds she just sighed and opened the door.

“Oh Sehun, I~” She halted as she noticed a half dressed male standing before her.

“You’re not Oh Sehun.” She blurted before turning away.

“Wait,” He called out.

“You..can turn now.”

Haebin faced him, her eyes wide.

“Sehun’s out, are you a doctor here too?” He asked, his tone surprisingly warm.

“No, I’m a friend.”

“Then how can you just come in here?”

Haebin blinked, Sehun’s family owned the hospital, he always told her that she could just come to the office.

“Uhm, I’m~”

“Ya, why are you here?” Sehun was standing behind her. Haebin almost sighed in relief.

“You two met?”

Haebin nodded.

“Haebin-ah, this is Jung Daehyun, a fellow intern. Daehyun, meet Haebin, she’s…..my excess baggage.” Sehun said flatly.

Haebin smiled and offered her hand.

Daehyun nodded and shook her hand.

“I was when she stepped in.” Daehyun said. Sehun chuckled.

“She’s used to seeing males, don’t worry.”
