(Kim Hyung Joong’s POV)
Living alone wasn’t something easy to be very honest. Every day I woke up and beside me, oh well it’s empty. I hoped it would be someone I waited for so long but no. Literally I have been getting drunk every night since that night and I wasn’t my usual self that night.
Almost ruined it I’ll say. It’s been a week approximately since I almost tried to kill him after he decided to propose my ex girlfriend and who I was supposed to propose her. Like any other day I keep on running into her. Not from house, neither my own condo. Hospital itself made me realize fate wants us to be together but it’s just testing our patience.
Like any other day, I woke up in my own condo. It wasn’t far from my family’s house so it was easy for me to run there in order to get a bit of food. 7 years. I waited for her 7 years after I ditched her and dumped her and treated her like literal garbage. They were right. You will know how precious something is when it’s lost from you.
“Ah, my head.” Yup, I woke up with a hangover. I had a great time in the club why shouldn’t I be surprised with the hangover right now? I threw my blanket aside and stood up to get out of my room only to see Sara and my sister.
“I don’t know how much he drank last night. Last time he drank, he literally cried about you.” great I’m made a laughing stock, dammit. “YAH NOONA!” I cried out in surprise causing both of them to look at me and laugh a bit.
“I made you hangover soup. Have some before coming to the hospital. You literally reek of alcohol smell. Take a shower too.” Sara started to order me around making me a bit annoyed. Why was she being so nice? I wondered as I made my way to the room. I made sure to give a look at her before getting myself into the room.
She looked happy. Perhaps she is pretending? Letting out a sigh, I dragged myself into my own room annoyed.
After all I was getting late to go to the hospital. I took a shower and walked out of the bathroom to see Sara arranging my clothes for me on the bed. I stared at her for a minute and she whirled around to see me half .
She let out a slight screech and turned around causing me to flush a bit. It was a bit uncomfortable though yes, it’s been a while since she hasn’t seen me half . I chuckled at her cuteness even though I was flushing.
“I’ll go out. That’s the one; the maid has ironed for you.” Sara stuttered as she said to me and walked out of the door while covering her eyes. I chuckled at it. Why was she doing all this for me suddenly? Is there something going on? It’s been a week since they have announced their marriage. Soon enough they will start to pick wedding dresses and all.
I walked out of the room while buttoning my shirt to see both of them going through some wedding dresses. “I think this one will suit you a lot.” Noona pointed out to one of the white wedding dress. I smiled as Sara kept on nodding at whatever noona kept on saying.
“All of it looks nice. I’m sure everything will look good on you both.” Clearing my throat I spoke up causing both of them to jump a bit.
“Gosh, I’m not a ghost. Sara, why don’t you take a day or so? I mean I know you are busy with your wedding prep-” “It’s alright. I can work on it at night time even. I have to go to the hospital.” She replied back to me with a smile causing me to nod my head.
“If you say so.” I replied back as I buttoned my cuffs and grabbed the coat. “Can I get a ride from you?” it wasn’t Sara’s thing to be so bold about stuffs I guess. But this time she asked me boldly which I was a bit surprised and taken back.
“Sure. Shall we?” I asked her causing her to nod her head. “Noona, make sure to lock the front door before leaving. And keep the place clean for god’s sake please.” I stared at her sternly causing her to frown.
“When did you ever become a neat freak idiot?” she cried out at me causing Sara to stare at the both of us entertained. “Always bro always!” I cried back out as I lead Sara out of the penthouse.
“Do you have some time today?” Sara asked me curiously as I made my way to the parking lot. “I guess, why?” I asked her causing her to let out a sigh. “Possible to come by with me to pick a wedding dress?” she asked me softly. “Isn’t it supposed to be picked with your fiancée?” I asked her causing her to let out a sigh once again.
“Never mind about that. I’ll see what I can do with Hannah or Rachel.” She said before slipping into the front seat beside me. I was a bit taken back by her actions. This wasn’t like her. Did something perhaps happen with Dong Joon. Letting out a sigh, I slipped into the driver’s seat. It was time for me to start facing the cruel reality of losing Sara and being forever alone.
(Jung Somin’s POV)
It was tough for me to ask him a favor like that, but when I got an answer like that for a moment I didn’t like it. Then again, Dong Joon is busy with debuting and all. Of course he can’t come to pick a wedding dress and get into a dating scandal and get his image all wrecked before his debut.
I shook my head, while I walked into the hospital. I walked into the pediatrics department dazzled. “Doctor Jung? Chief Kim is asking for you.” Nurse Yang said to me as soon as I entered the pediatric ward. I nodded my head before taking a look at the previous prescriptions given to a little girl.
“Lower the dosage for now and see how it goes by. Talk to the Cancer department and ask them to start on with the chemotherapy as soon as possible.” I said to Doctor Jo Jonghwan who was an intern.
“I’m expecting a lot from Jo Jonghwan!” I said to him with a smile before turning around to go Hyung Joong’s room. I wasn’t a bit ne
