20 days with the arrogant jerk (오만 바보와 이십일)
“I freaking need a Japanese translator.” Kim Hyung Joong kept on wailing making me glare and get annoyed of him. “Ah oppa, stop annoying Sara unnie.” Yuri cried out making me look at her and then him with my raised eyebrows and Hyung Joong’s as well.
“Did she just now read my mind?” I asked myself making him scoff at me, as she ran towards some teddy bears displayed at a side of the road. “Unnie isn’t this pretty?” she asked me cutely as she hugged the big teddy.
“Yes, it is very pretty. Unnie even like it.” I told her as I hugged a teddy bear besides her. “Kon'nichiwa Anata no musume no tame ni tedibea o aidesu ka? Soe, watashi no Ohaio-shū no anata no otto ga mite totemo yoidesu. (Hello. Do you want a teddy bear for your daughter? And oh my, your husband is so good-looking)” an old lady came out and asked me making me blush.
“Gomen'nasai obasandesu. Kanojo wa watashi no yūjin no imōtodearu Kare wa watashi no otto no obasande wa arimasen. (I am sorry aunty. She is my friend’s littler sister. And he is not my husband aunty.)” I said to her with a slight smile making her smile at me embarrassed.
“Watashi no Ohaio-shū Watashi wa sono tamenode, mōshiwakearimasen Anata wa Kankoku kara kita no? (Oh my, I am sorry for that. Are you from Korean?)” She asked me as she took a big teddy bear from a nearby rack.
“We are.” I said to her with a smile which made her nod her head. “And so am I. I am Baek Sae Ra.” The Ahjumma surprised me making me jump back a little back making her chortle.
“Oh heavens child, I won’t eat you. Oh here you go dear. This is for you both. I’m sure you both will make out a great couple in the end.” She passed out a big bear to Yuri and passed out a couple bear to me and Hyung Joong.
He also took it knowing about it; probably he didn’t want to be rude I guess. I nodded my head as I bowed a little bit. “Say thank you to her Yuri ah” I said to Yuri making her nod her head “Thank you Sae Ra Ahjumma.” Yuri waved her little hands at her making her chuckle and wave back at us.
“Okay, that was weird.” I mumbled to myself and from the corner of my eyes I caught Hyung Joong admiring the teddy bear. “I love it.” I heard him mutter making me smile. “If only he was my boy friend.” I muttered as I walked a little bit away from him.
(Kim Hyung Joong’s POV)
“If only he was my boy friend.” she muttered before walking a little bit away from me making me stop on my spot. That moment I felt I heard noona’s words. It’s true, I really don’t know about her.
“KIM HYUNG JOONG! COME HERE BEFORE I KICK YOU ON YOUR .” I was wakened up from my thoughts by Sara who was holding hands with a laughing Yuri. Shaking my head back and forth I ran up to they and Yuri caught my hands.
“I freaking need a Japanese translator.” I mumbled making Sara to cough in annoyance. “Hyung Joong would you mind? There is a book store over there, we can go and get it okay?” Sara turned to me and said to me making me stare at her with one of my eyebrows up.
“Okay?” I replied to her and she ran to the book store leaving me behind until I heard a car honking making me let out a scream and hold onto my chest. “Ahaha, oppa almost died.” Yuri said to me through her laughter and holding her stomach making me glare at her yet smile.
I caught Sara also smiling and giggling along with her making my heart melt. Why is this happening to me?
“Hey Hyung Joong, can you look after Yuri for a while? I need to see the next door bookstore.” Sara brought Yuri to me while she was biting onto a lollypop which made me chuckle unconsciously. Seeing her cute acts make me laugh.
“Sure, go ahead. Come here you.” I replied to Sara and grabbed Yuri and made her sit
