20 days with the arrogant jerk (오만 바보와 이십일)
(Kim Hyung Joong’s POV)
“Uhm, I didn’t mean to do that.” I said to her softly and pulled myself away from her. She nodded her head while her eyes were literally fixed onto the ground. I looked down hoping that there was something interesting to stare at though no.
“Ah! It’s a coin.” She cried out as she bent down to pick it up. What the-? Was she trying to change the subject or what? I stared at her surprised with her so good actions and all, though I couldn’t help but chuckle at her cuteness.
“Why are you laughing?” she asked me in weird voice while raising her eyebrows causing me to laugh more. I couldn’t help but laugh more at her weird out expression. She grabbed my ears and dragged me out of the department and into the hospital arena where the patients were. She smiled gracefully at them and greeted everyone lovingly.
That is the best part I love about her. “Doctor Jung! OMG! You look so cute together with Doctor Kim.” One of the patients cried out and started fangirling over us both causing Sara to continue blinking at the patient as if the patient should be sent off to the asylum.
“Ha Ha Ha, you are kidding me right Patient Yeon Ji!” Sara asked the patient known as Yeon Ji softly causing me to chuckle. Broadly I grabbed her and wrapped my hands around her shoulders and brought her closer to me and smiled at the patient.
“Patient Yeon Ji, is it? How do we look now? Is it very, very good?” I asked her causing Sara to blush furiously and tried to push me away from her though I kept on holding onto her as tightly as I can.
She started jumping up and down while showing thumbs up. “You both look so good together. Kyaa! I think I’ll faint by fangirling too much. I should go back to my room. get married and get cute babies together please Doctor Jung and Doctor Kim.” Sara blushed more and tried to make her keep quiet by slowly pushing her towards the other way.
“Ah! One of the days I swear, she will be the death of me.” she said to herself while walking with me out of the hospitals. “She is cute.” I said as we both walked into the basement to get my car.
“She is. But she doesn’t have enough time. Cancer medicine isn’t working on her and the doctors have already given up on her though she has this something called confidence that she will not die and she will be alive for a very long, long time.” She replied causing me to smile.
“Ladies first.” I said as I hold onto the cars door making her more annoyed. She groaned before getting into the car. I chuckled at her annoyance.
“Wow! They look great Haera ah. I didn’t know that you will become such a good wedding planner and all.” She kept on praising this girl who I assumed it would be her friend. I yawned for the nth time.
“Looks like it. By the way, I didn’t know that you were back with him.” she whispered a little loudly causing me to hear it. I let out a low chuckle as they continued talking. I thought of annoying them though I decided not to.
Why bother when all they would do is let out a high pitch squeal or maybe a high pitch scream where your ears will go dead and nothing more than that?
(Jung Somin’s POV)
“I’m not with him. Haera ah, let’s not talk about it and let’s get on with it quickly. I need to be back in the hospital regarding this.” I replied causing her to let out a chuckle. Haera was my cousin sister. She was my mom’s aunt’s daughter and she grew up to be so beautiful and also so multi talented. She’s a psychologist as well as a wedding planner.
“Am I supposed to be surprised with whatever you are up to right now Sara?” Haera asked as she continued ruffling through some dresses to get one. I shrugged off at what she said causing her to nod her head.
“Since we have some time, why don’t you try a wedding dress as well? I’ll arrange one for you and a tuxedo for Hyung Joong as well. Try it; I know you won’t regret it.” Haera said to both of us slyly causing me to literally wanna strangle her on the spot. She was surely one of a kind.
“I’m good. With no wedding dress.” I replied causing Hyung Joong to stand up from the sofa he was sitting on. “Same for me as well you know.” He replied back at her causing her to stare at us both for a long time. “What are you both? Some kind of a telepathy people or maybe some kind of a star couple?” she threw such a good question at us making me wanna literally dig my grave.
“Haera!” I cried out causing her to let out laugh. “Let me go get your dress and your tuxedo alright?” she had to do this to me. I huffed on my bangs and followed Haera into the changing room.
“Do you need my assistance?” she asked me causing me to only glare at her for making me do this. “No!” I cried out and drew the curtains to close it and heard her chuckle. I always wanted to wear a wedding dress but not with him urgh.
“Do YOU need some help Hyung Joong sshi?” I heard Haera talking to Hyung Joong and I assumed in reply he said no by nodding his head off.
Slowly I grabbed my shirt and my jeans leaving me in bras and . I always was not so confident about my body though today I somehow felt confident. It’s not like it’s gonna be my wedding or anything but why is she freaking me do this urgh.
“OMG! You look so pretty in it Sara!” Haera as usual cried out leaving me to send her off with a weak smile. “Look whose here. Hey handsome!” Haera’s compliment left Hyung Joong slightly blushing causing me to hide my laughter.
“Let me go grab my Polaroid camera and my normal one too.” She cried out and left us both alone in the room. Hyung Joong kept on staring at me as if he never saw me before. Oh well, definitely he never saw me in a wedding dress but duh?
He smiled at me as he walked up to me. I was somewhat nervous to say anything to him and on top of that my lips were dry as a sand paper. I touched my lips unknowingly and grabbed my dress’s skirt and walked down the lane to grab my bag though he stopped me and turned me around to face him.
“You look beautiful in it.” he whispered to me and we were just an inch away from kissing. No, I don’t want to kiss him. I tried to assure myself. I knew I was somewhat cheating on my boyfriend. I cleared my throat before looking up into his eyes where I found sincerity.
“Thank you.” I whispered back and tried to pull away from him when he held me tightly and touched the back of my neck and brought my face closer to his lips. I grabbed my skirt tightly to the point where my nails dug right into my skin. He pressed his lips onto my forehead and smiled at me.
“This is all I can do for you.” he said to me softly before letting go of me. I felt empty without him and I know that. “Okay, let’s get both of you a Polaroid as well as a good picture to keep in your phones now hhm?” Haera walked in causing me to get startled for no reason. I didn’t commit a crime now did i?
I nodded my head slowly and got a little closer to Hyung Joong and felt his hand wrapped my plain wais
