I walked straight to the ICU first thing in the morning in hope of being able to get inside. I peaked around like a thief who was getting ready to grab something from a nearby store. I looked around to see if any of the heads were nearby. Smiling to myself I braced myself to get in there until…
“Doctor Jung.” Great, just simply great. Clenching my teethes as if there was no other tomorrow, I turned around with a surprised fake smile which really do need an Oscar to it. Give an Oscar to me buddy!
“Omo, Director Park? It’s a lovely morning don’t you think?” I asked her brightly making her stare at me not surprised. “I think the chief and also Kim Sunbae, has restricted you from entering ICU for a while.” Director Park said to me in a snobby way making me annoyed as hell.
“I wasn’t thinking of going inside.” I replied making her stare at me. Her stare downs are the worst thing anyone can ever go through. “Maybe I might have thought of.” I replied once again making her stare at me with her scary stares. I swear one of these days I might die literally from her stare downs. They are worse than a stare down from my own mother.
“Okay, I admit. I was gonna go in there. Why in the world am I restricted from going in the ICU?” I asked her sternly making her let out a sigh. “He is a VIP patient of chief and he requested us from making sure you won’t get inside the ICU. I’m sorry Doctor Jung.” Director Park replied to me making me glare at her.
“I’m sorry but I don’t give a about Director Park. Chief, my father who ever bull it is, I’m also a doctor of this hospital and I also have the rights to know about a patient which was under me.” I cried out in anger making Director to only stare at me.
“Have a good day Doctor Jung.” I swear she is pissing me more cause of this person. Pissed as hell, I walked past her, bumping onto her shoulder and walked straight to my office. “I swear one of these days I’ll have to eat medicine for high blood pressure.” In annoyance I cried out as I grabbed the marker to write on the transparent board all the anger I was going through.
Basically, when I’m angry all I can do is not curse out loud yet to write down the curse words and read it over and over again until I’m calm. I scribbled on the board in anger. “What exactly are you doing?” I got startled by the voice making me drop the marker I had on my hand.
“Aissh! What the- sunbae?” I turned around in anger and was gonna scream until I saw Kim Sunbae as usually with his hands wrapped around him and staring at me as if I was dumb or not. I narrowed my eyes at him before bending down to grab the marker.
“You need to stop doing that you know.” I mumbled making him let out a chuckle. “Can I ask you something?” Kim Sunbae asked me making me sit on the nearby couches comfortably with him. I nodded my head making him let out a sigh.
“Have you forgotten about him?” I got surprised by his question. It’s been a while since I have came across that question. I knew what sunbae meant by Him. I smiled at him and bit my lower lips.
“Why do you ask sunbae?” I asked him making him grab my hands and squeezed it. “I’m talking to you as a brother would do okay? So you don’t need to call me sunbae right now. Talk to me comfortably would you?” he replied to me making me feel slightly at ease. I smiled at him.
“I know, but honestly it’s been a while since I came across that question you know.” I replied to him with a sigh. Letting out a frustrated sigh I smiled at him. “Honestly, I miss him a lot. We lost contact the moment he changed to Australia. I really want to know if he is doing well or not even.” I replied back making sunbae to smile at me.
“That was something I was hoping to hear from you. Guess your love is stronger than anyone’s. I hope you won’t get hurt in the end while you are literally holding onto him.” he replied to me making me nod my head.
“I hope so too.” I replied as I stood up to walk to my desk. “Ah, I forgot. From today onwards, chief wanted you to take part in pediatrics branch. Congratulations to the head of pediatrics, Chief Jung” Kim sunbae stood up and said to me before walking out of the room and before I can ask him anything.
I was surprised when he suddenly gave me that statement of hell. Honestly, it’s hard to look after kids.
Letting out a scoff, I grabbed my doctor’s jacket and put it on before walking out of the room. I have patients waiting.
“Doctor Jung, congratulations.” Kim Jihyun ran up to me with her fellow colleges to congratulate me while I was on my way to the ER. I smiled and nodded at her before walking away. “Aissh, sunbae you sure do know how to spread the news well enough.” I muttered as I entered into the ER.
“Doctor Jung, a patient is demanding for you.” one of my hoobae, Park Gyuri ran up to me breathless and told me making me let out a sigh. Which patient would this time be? “Lead the way.” I replied making her nod her head and to lead me to the patient.
“I demand Doctor Jung to treat me.” The girl kept on screaming making me figure out the voice very well. “Prescribe her some fever medicine and send her home.” In a very arrogant way I said to Doctor Park making her nod her head.
“YAH!” she screamed making me turn around to smirk at her. I walked up to her and grabbed her ears. “Don’t make a scene in here and, follow me now hhhm?!” I cried out as I grabbed her ears and dragged her out from the ER making other doctors and nurses in the ER to stare at me as if we both were sisters. Honestly, she was more than a sister to me.
“Yah! Why in the world would you make a scene inside the ER? You are not even a 5 year old kid.” I cried out at her who was 5 months elder than me who was acting all innocent as she can which was a total epic fail. A cat or a rabbit, right now the situation would definitely be the same for me.
“I’m sorry Sara ah, hhm? Sorry!” she tried to act as cute as she can. I punched on her shoulder playfully before sitting beside her. “Idiot. Do you know how long has it been since we all tried to hang out together? Make some time would you?” she mumbled making me chuckle.
“Yah! Is it me who is always busy? Rachel, you are also busy with the business stuffs? I haven’t heard from Nora ever since she left to Hawaii. That girl sure knows how to ignore my IMs even.” I muttered making Rachel to chuckle.
“Let’s go for a drink tonight after you finish your duty. Hannah is looking forward for your treat as usual.” Rachel said to me playfully making me scoff. “Yea, right. Give me a break with it. The treat is on you.” I replied as we both burst into laughter.
“We’ll see who gets drunk first okay?” Rachel asked me making me nod and do a thumb up sign making her chuckle. “We’ll pick you up.” She said before standing up to leave. “Sure, you guys are my true lovers after all.” I replied in a joking manner making her almost strangle me to death.
Aigoo, that temper of her would literally make a 20 storage building to burn down.
(No one’s POV)
“So what’s the plan?” Yongguk asked the girls in front of him where one person was literally biting her nails off. “Aissh, that’s just simply gross Rach!” one girl cried out in a grossed out manner making Rachel to come back from never land to main land.
“Oh? What did you say?” Rachel asked making Yongguk to stare at her. “You know, I have a kid who needs to be looked after even. So I’m out from this plan for the time in being okay?” Yongguk said making Hannah to let out a sigh and say it in an instance. “Sit Yongguk.” Hannah said making Yongguk to sit.
“Of course I can make time.” He replied making Rachel to bite back her laughter. “Am I missing something here? What is this exact plan we are talking about here? All I know is that we are hanging out with Sara who barely gets time to get off from the hospital.” Hannah snobbily asked making Rachel to simply smack the back of her head.
“You need to correct that arrogantness of yours.” Rachel replied as she kept on checking her nails. Hannah literally gasped. “What- what the hell man?” she asked Rachel making her to give a look.
“I think doubt it now. Was Sara ever a drama queen?” she asked making Hannah to almost screech in a slight annoyed manner though that was stopped by a shadow that was overcastting their food which made them annoyed. . .
