Third year of high school, I was nervous thinking about graduation more and more. I had one person who helped me though my hard times, Nagi, my best friend. She was also Korean who lived in Japan. I met her back then in the beginning of middle school. We were always the best of friends ever since.

I looked around nervously trying to find her from the crowd. There was only one girl with cheerful atmosphere and cute little glasses. She reminded me of Jaeyeon and Danbi.

“Haruhi!” She called out from a distance and I saw her.

“Nagi, what were you going to tell me on the phone last night?” I asked her.

“Ok, so like that little Gongchan is still trying to ask me to the dance tonight, what do I do? I don’t really want to go!” She complained.

Gongchan was another Korean who resided here in Japan. He’s not bad looking, he’s kind of cute actually he was just younger than us with a noona crush on Nagi. Nagi is pretty, I couldn’t blame him, a lot of guys always think she’s pretty and she is.

During the dance, I kind of felt bad for the little Gongchan who was expecting it to be sort of like a date for him and Nagi. I tried to amuse him with myself while my best friend tried socializing with someone else. I just kept talking to him and he also talked about himself. Honestly, he wasn’t that bad, he seemed like someone like someone I might like.

Just then, I and he ended up dancing and having fun. He kissed me on the cheeks making me feel fluffy in ways. After the dance, we were both confused. I know a night was definitely not enough to fall in love with someone, so I know it was just lust. But it doesn’t mean a night isn’t enough to change your mind about someone. A night which made me start liking him and I never thought I would have, honestly.
