D.O halted and watched the scene happening in front of two eyes.

His best friend was lying all bloody on the ground while Yoonhye ran to his body and pulled the bloody body to her lap.

Sunyeon tearfully watched the scene with the knife still on her hand. She helped Yoonhye cut the ropes off her.

Before completely walking out the scene, Sojin felt a new visitor’s presence. She then turned around and scoffed when she saw little D.O blinking his tears away.

Sojin raised an eyebrow. “Seriously, Kyungsoo? You? You think you could save them now? Look at you! So tiny and cutie, what made you think you can courageously go here alone?”

D.O face darkened, boyishly smirked and shrugged. “Well, I don’t know what came to my mind either.” He furiously glared at Sojin. “But you’re beyond crazy for shooting my best friend like that.” He looked at the couple, Yoonhye was crying her eyes out and Kai was peacefully breathing with his eyes peacefully closed.

“And I’m gonna make you pay for that…” He grudgingly said. Sojin smirked and playfully feigned fear. “Wooo~ I’m getting scared by that…” She chuckled and crossed her arms, taunting him.

“EVERYONE, HANDS UP (lol)!  SURRENDER YOUR WEAPONS! WE’RE FROM THE SEOUL NATIONAL POLICE CENTER!” They hollered and came out from all the doors of the room, leaving Sojin no place to escape.

About ten police arrived at the venue, surprising Sojin a lot. Where did they all come from?

“W-what t-the…” Sojin was taken aback a bit. “Why were there no sirens?”

The police took her hands and placed them in a handcuff. “I’m Chief Han,” He introduced as he quickly let her scan his official ID. He was a tall, muscular man with the one that held the most authority over the other police. “And you’re under arrest for kidnapping and for gang activity.” He looked at the knocked out men scattered around the ground.

“W-why were there no sirens?!” Sojin repeated her question as she stuttered a bit. “Mr Do Kyungsoo told us to keep our sirens on silent.” Chief Han replied with a cool smile.

Sojin turned her face to D.O, who playfully smirked and gave her an annoying, taunting salute. “Surprise, .” The EXO-K boys had already surrounded the bloody Kai.

D.O continued staring with pure hatred. “You’re so gonna pay for doing this, Sojin.” Sojin just studied his face. “You’ve grown a lot more handsome, D.O. How could I not notice that before.” She let out a bright giggle, but for everyone in the room, it was a witch’s laughter.

D.O shook his head in amusement. “You’re crazy…” He shrugged. “Anyway, I already know I’m handsome, no need to remind me again.” His face immediately changed from playful back to pesky. With one last glare, he spat. “Rot in jail.” D.O turned around and went to help his friends bring Kai in the ambulance.

Sojin helplessly looked around for help. The burly man who had beat Kai up was now weakly caught with a more burly police officer. “YAH! What are you doing?!” Sojin screamed, “Hurry, beat him up and save me!” She commanded.

The burly man tried to free himself from the police officer, but it was no use.

Everyone involved in the scene were dragged to the police station.

EXO-K and Yoonhye’s situation were not the same.

They were brought to the hospital; all were praying for Kai to be safe.

“WAHHHHH~ IT’S ALL MY FAULT~” Baekhyun loudly cried. Everyone was crying, but Baekhyun was the wildest, even wilder than Yoonhye.

Chanyeol sniffed and passed Baekhyun another pack of tissue. That was Baekhyun’s fifth pack of tissue.

They had been staying in the hall for about an hour already, waiting for the doctor to come out and tell them the results of the surgery.

Baekhyun sniffed again and again while saying his ‘speech’. “If I didn’t let her go to that deserted restroom… If I went in the girls’ restroom... If I told h-“

“Eww, ert!” Chanyeol exclaimed. Baekhyun glared at the tall male. “I’m being serious, Hippo.” The taller male could only shrugged. “You said ‘if I went in the restroom’, that’s sounds like a ert to me…”

Baekhyun ignored his idiotic friend and continued his ‘speech’. “If I followed Yoonhye in the restroom… then nothing terrible, like this, would happened. K-Kai… he’s in there, be-because… IT’S MY FAULT!!!” Baekhyun hit his head multiple times.

Suho held Baekhyun’s hand to avoid the latter from hurting himself more. “Baek-ah,” He softly called. Baekhyun blinked his tears away. “What’s this? Am I in heaven already? Suho hyung? You’re the angel again here?”

Suho placed a palm over Baekhyun’s forehead and pushed it back harshly. “YAH! Wake up, I think you’ve gone crazy after hitting yourself like that.”

Baekhyun pouted. “He’s not an angel, after all…” He muttered and continued his sobbing session after that.

Yoonhye blankly looked at the white floor while she sat quietly beside Sehun who was trying to make her drink some hot chocolate.

“It’s not your fault, Baekhyun. It’s all mine.” She quietly said. “It’s my entire fault.” She looked down, refusing to look at their eyes.

“If I… if I have been more attentive around my surroundings, if I…” She paused, thinking of some more reasons to persuade them that it’s her mistake.

“Enough.” D.O darkly growled. “It’s none of your faults so stop the ‘if I’ game. The only person who made this mess is no other than Sojin. Stop blaming yourselves.”

The doctor came out of the surgery room with a clip board on his left hand. The boys and Yoonhye immediately flocked over him, ready to hear the results.

They all had their breaths held when the doctor sternly looked at them one by one. “Your friend is fine.” The doctor’s serious face broke into a contented one, making the kids sigh in relief.

“You sent him here on time, that’s really a good thing. He lost a lot of blood and was close to complete blood loss. When he arrived, he was really near death.” The doctor told them.

Baekhyun almost fainted after hearing that news, but all of them were relieve to know Kai’s okay now.
