Visit From Her
My Life As Byun Baekhyuns Fake GirlfriendYour POV
”You still like him, don’t you?” Sohyun asked me all of a sudden as I tried to focus on our math homework.
“Hmm? Who?” I asked her while pretending to count some boring algebra I’d never have any use for in the future anyways.
“Baekhyun of course.” Sohyun said and I looked up at her.
“To be perfectly honest, yeah, I think so.” I said and Sohyun smiled.
“What about Chanyeol?” she asked
“What about him?” I furrowed my eyebrows.
“Didn’t you like him when he first came here?”
“Well yeah, a little, but now he’s obviously with Hara…” I stated and played with my eraser.
“She gets all the good once, doesn’t she?” Sohyun asked and I nodded in agreement.

Baekhyun’s POV
The doorbell rang and disturbed my studying, but luckily Saemin got the door just like always.
“Oh, hi Hara!”
I stiffened and stared at the door to my room. Could I really have heard right?
“Hi Saemin!”
Yup, I had heard it right… I could recognize that voice anywhere.
“Why haven’t you been here in so long?”
Aish, I could strangle Saemin right now.
“Eh, well…You have to ask your brother that. He’s the one who hasn’t invited me over.”
That was enough. I got up from my bed and opened the door so that I was standing in the hallway.
Hara looked up at me and the smile she had had on for Saemin faded.
“And I have my reasons not to. Haven’t I, Hara?” I asked and crossed my arms.
Saemin walked over to me and hit me on my arm. “Stop being such a meanie Baekhyun oppa. Why don’t you invite her over here all the time like you did before?”
“Just go to your room.” As expected she just ignored me.
“Saemin, please go to your room. We need to talk in private.” Hara said to Saemin with twinkling eyes and Saemin smiled back at her. “Okay.” She said and danced off to her room.
I rolled my eyes. I should really lecture that kid in how to behave towards your older brother.
“Hi…” Hara started and looked at me.
“What do you want?” I asked.
“Wow, nice way of greeting-“
“What do you want?” I raised my voice as I cut her off. She stiffened. I had never talked to her in this way before and it looked like it made her uncomfortable, which meant it pleased me.
“I just wanted to give back some stuff you had left at my house.” She reached over my blue tennis bag. I reached out for it and snatched it away. I opened it and saw my headphones, a pair of shorts and a hoodie that she had borrowed at some point.
“Are you sure we can’t work this out?”
I looked up at her and was nearly shocked at her pleading face.
“We were together for a year. Are you really ready to throw everything we had away?” she asked with sorrow in her eyes that made me wanna pull her close and comfort her. But I swallowed and avoided looking at her face.
“I was not the one who threw it away Hara, it was you. With my best friend of all people.” I said and walked in to my room and shut the door behind me. As I dropped the bag on the floor, I sat down by the door and looked through the keyhole and saw Hara still standing there. She had her head lowered and it almost sounded as if she cried.
I felt a sudden heartache and the urge of running out there and hug her was almost too big. Just as I was about to listen to my heart and open the door, she her heals and hurried out of the house.
