It was 8 am and Areum was wide awake. If anyone would have seen her they would have thought that pigs were really flying outside. Areum waking up this early. Clothes were thrown all around her room as she tried to look for an outfit to wear. She had changed from 4 different outfits already, but none of them were good enough.

“I CAN’T FIND ANYTHING TO WEAR!” she yelled out frustrated and landed face down on the floor. She contemplated for about 5 minutes until she pulled her face up from the ground.

“Why am I worrying so much? This is Sehun. This is just Sehun. He’s seen me at my worst. When I was sick and gross. When I was tired and had bags under my eyes. When I was drunk. When I woke up first thing in the morning with bed hair.” Her face then paled. She threw her head back to the floor.

“OH MY GOSH HE SEEN ME AT MY WORST!!!!” she screamed onto the carpet floor and swayed her feet up and down. She then popped her head up.

“Right he seen me like that. Then whatever I’m going to wear should be fine. That’s right. Its ok.” She stood back up and went back into her closet to find another outfit.

2 hours and 5 outfits later Areum was ready for her date with Sehun. She chose to wear simple blouse and a nice skirt. She had done her makeup lightly but still natural. She looked at the mirror on more time until she heard her doorbell ring. She looked at the clock that read 10:00 and felt butterflies overwhelm her stomach. She nervously made her way to the door. She opened the door and was greeted to a bouquet of red roses. 

Areum smiled. “Are these for me?”

“Of course. Beautiful roses for a beautiful lady.” She heard Sehun’s voice behind the flowers. She smiled and took them from him. Once she took the flowers Sehun’s handsome face was shown with a shy smile. 

He was wearing a simply blue button down and black jeans but he looked so handsome and adorable at the same time. Areum shyly looked down at her flowers.

“Good morning.” Sehun said.

“Morning.” Areum replied bitting her lip. “Did you have a good night’s sleep?”

Sehun nodded. However, he was lying. If you thought Areum was nervous Sehun was a wreck. After dropping Areum off Sehun didn’t even do any work. He went straight to his office and asked not to be disturbed all day. His employees all thought that their boss was working hard on the new proposals but in fact he was looking up romantic places to go on dates with in Seoul. He spent all day at work planning the perfect date to go with Areum. All last night he was tossing and turning in bed not able to sleep. He kept wondering what to wear, if he planned everything, was he missing anything. He was determined to make tomorrow the best date she had ever had.

Sehun looked at the girl in front of him and felt his heart warm. “You look beautiful.” He said.

Areum blushed and answered a soft thank you.

Sehun coughed. “Uhm, should we go?”

Areum nodded. She went back into her place to put the flowers in a vase and gotten her purse and joined Sehun after. Sehun led her to his car and they started driving off.

“So…where to?” Areum asked as she looked at Sehun who was driving.

“Brunch? You love brunch right? I reserved a very nice café for us.”

Areum nodded and they made their way to brunch. The place Sehun reserved was a 5-star café, very famous in Seoul. He was excited to take Areum there knowing how much she loved breakfast food. The drive there was about 30 minutes but once they got to the café however, they saw that there were fire trucks and police officers outside along with a crowd of people.  

“Whats going on?” Areum asked confused.

“I don’t know.” Sehun parked the car and got out to open the door for Areum. The two walked up to the crowd.

“Excuse me, whats going on here?” Sehun asked one lady in the crowd.

“Oh, there was a fire that started in the kitchen of the café. They tried to put it out but the fire got caught in the cooking oil and it grew.”

“What? But I have a reservation today.” Sehun said.

“Well you’re out of luck because half the café is burnt down.”

Sehun looked at the café and sure enough what the lady said was true. There was no way any cooking could be done in there or anyone could possibly have a meal there. Sehun looked over to Areum to see her face pout but when she felt his stare she gave him a smile.

“I’m sorry.” Sehun told her frowning.

“Its ok. This isn’t the only café that has brunch. We can go somewhere else.” She encouraged. Sehun nodded and they walked back to the car. The two ended up at another restaurant for breakfast. Although they were booked once they heard the name Oh Sehun they opened up a table immediately for the male and his date. They had a nice breakfast where they chatted and laughed together.

“Where to next?” Areum smiled and looked at Sehun. They were back inside Sehun’s car now as he drove.

“Park.” He grinned at her.

“Park? For what?”

“You’ll see.” He smiled and drove off.

Once they got to the park Areum gasped. There were puppies and dogs everywhere. She looked at Sehun who returned her smile.

“I know how much you love dogs so..” he chuckled. “today’s theres a dog show event here and I thought you’ll like to come and play with them. and…” he looked over to another side. Areum widened her smile once she saw where Sehun was looking at.

“VIVI!” Areum yelled as Sehun’s assistant walked his dog over. Vivi immediately went into Areum’s arms as he got closer to her.

She pets Vivi. “Vivi I miss you so much.” she cooed at the dog. Sehun smiled as he saw how happy she was. He nodded to his assistant who retreated back to where he was. He walked over to Vivi and picked him up . 

“Hey there buddy. Ready for the show?” he kissed Vivi.

“Show?”

Sehun nodded. “I entered Vivi and me to the show.” He said confidently. “We’re going to win the grand prize!”

Areum snorted. “Really?”

Sehun put a hurt expression on his face. “You don’t believe in us?”

Areum chuckled. “I hate to say it but Vivi isn’t the most obedient dog. Vivi does what he wants. I don’t think you can tame him.”

Sehun wagged his finger at her. “Watch us. WATCH US WIN!” he exclaimed. Areum snorted.

The dog show started soon after and many owners and their pet dogs performed tricks and walking through obstacles for the judges. Areum was so impressed and cooed at all the adorable dogs there was. Soon it was Sehun and Vivi’s turn. She yelled out their names and waved when she saw them. Sehun waved back at her before crouching down next to Vivi.

“Ok Vivi, just like how we practiced ok? We have to look good for her ok? This is important to me buddy. Don’t let me down ok?” Vivi replied with a bark.

“On your mark, get set, go.” The judge announced.

The first course was walking through obstacles. Areum watched as Sehun walk through them thinking that Vivi was following him. Areum let out a sort when Sehun turned around to see Vivi hadn’t even moved a step. 

“What? Vivi come on. Just like we practiced follow me.” Sehun walked again. He turned around just to see Vivi standing there looking at him. He could hear giggles from the audience.

“Dang it Vivi.” He cursed softly.
