Jungkook looked at the screen annoyed. What the hell is this? He couldn’t believe it. It had been a little over a week when Areum and Kris were still engaged and now he’s going to wed that tramp? Jungkook was angry. He looked over at Areum.

“Nonna…” he said softly at her trying to figure out what she was feeling. Sehun looked over at Areum worriedly trying to see if she’s ok. Areum just stood there watching the screen with a blank face.

“I’m going to-I’m going to go.” She said softly and walked out of Sehun’s place. The two boys looked at Areum’s back. Jungkook was about to follow her when Sehun pulled him back.

“I’ll go.” He said and Jungkook nodded.

Sehun walked into Areum’s place and saw that no one was there. He walked into her room to look for her and found Areum on her bed hugging her stuff toy. He stood by the door and knocked.

“Hey.” He smiled softly. 

“Can I come in?” Areum looked at him and nodded. He walked over to her bed and sat down next to her. Areum was hugging her plush toy and staring down. She had tears coming out of her eyes.

“Are you ok?” he asked gently as he looked at the girl.

Areum nodded.

“You don’t have to pretend you know? You can be sad. Hell you can be mad as well.”

Areum shook her head and wiped her tears.

“Then why are you crying?”

“I’m not.” She mumbled.

Sehun sighed. “How are you feeling then?”

 “I don’t know.” she mumbled.

“How do you not know?”

“I don’t know.” she scooted closer to Sehun and dropped her head on his shoulder. “I know how I should be feeling but I’m not. These tears, I don’t know why they’re there.”

Sehun looked at her confused.

“If this news had been revealed before I would have been sad. I would have cried. I wouldn’t know what to do to be honest. But now, I don’t know. I guess it was expected? Or I kind of saw it coming? Or maybe I’m starting to let Kris go. I guess I’m crying cause I’m angry that I’m not that sad?” She said as she played with the plush toys head.

“Wha-what?”

Areum looked up from Sehun’s shoulder. “Haven’t you noticed anything different?”

Sehun tilted his head in confusion. “No?”

“Tsk. Look.” She raised her left hand up.

Sehun looked at her hand. “What am I supposed to be looking at?”

“You seriously don’t see anything different about it?”

“You need to cut your nails?”

“YAH!”

Sehun chuckled, “I don’t get what I’m supposed to be looking at.”

Areum placed her hand closer to his face. “Look closely.” 

“What-“ Sehun stoped midsenteneced when he noticed it. He looked at her and then back at her hand to make sure he wasn’t seeing things.

“Your ring…” he said.

Areum gave a small bitter smile. “I gave it back to him before I moved here. I told him I needed more time. But I guess he didn’t need it.” She laid her head back on his shoulder. “Sehun?”

“Hmm?”

“Is it that hard for me to be happy? Why do I always fall for someone who ends up hurting me?”

Sehun got quiet. How was he supposed to answer that?

“Maybe because you’re looking in all the wrong places…” he mumbled softly. “Hey, let’s go eat. Jungkook must be starving now.” he smiled down at her.  

“WHAT THE IS THIS WU YIFAN!” Tao yelled as he walked into Kris’s place. All of the China line was already there. “EXPLAIN!” he glared at the older boy who was drowning himself in alcohol.

Kris looked up at him sadly. “I had no choice.” He mumbled.

“No choice? You ing kidding me? You’re engaged to marry Areum! The girl you love! What do you mean you have no choice?! That . I’m going to kill her!”

“Tao calm down. He must have a reason.” Xiumin said trying to calm the younger boy down.

“No reason is ing good enough to explain why he’s announcing he’s marrying that !”

“Language Huang Zitao!” Lay yelled.

“Like I give a ! Explain now!”

“Tao’s right. Explain.” Luhan said calmly but his tone of voice indicated that he was beyond furious and when Luhan was this calm he was the scariest.

“She’s pregnant.” Kris said as he drowned his glass.

“What?!” they yelled out.

“WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN PREGNANT?!” Chen exclaimed shocked. “How the hell did this even happen!?”

Tao, and Luhan glared at Kris already knowing the answer. Lay looked over at Kris sad for his friend. 

Xiumin looked at them, “You guys know, don’t you?” he asked the three who continues to glare at Kris.

“What the hell? Can someone exlplain to me what the is happening?!” Chen asked angry. 

Flashback

After Areum had given back Kris their engagement ring he didn’t feel like going back to work. He stayed home the next day. How could he go to work when all he could think about was Areum and how he felt like someone had just ripped his heart out of his chest and drove over it with a tank. He was working from home. He couldn’t let his workers see him like this. His phone rang.

“Hello?”

“Hello Mr. Wu? We are from Flowers Arrangement. We are calling regarding your orders on delivering flowers to Ms. Park Areum.”

His heart clenched when he heard that name.

“Yes?” he said shakily.

“We were wondering if you wanted to continue with the deliveries.”

“Yes. Deliver them every day like I had ordered. Payment is no problem just remember to have fresh roses delivered to her every day. They’re her favorite.” He said the last part quietly more to himself than the person on the phone.

“Will do. Thank you for your time Mr. Wu, you have a great day.”

He hung up and sat back on his chair, staring at the ceiling. How stupid was he to continue giving her flowers when he knows she won’t come b
