Areum barely slept a wink all night. All night she tossed and turned trying to figure out her heart. Kai, Kris, and Sehun kept circling her mind. She sighed. She sat up from her bed and looked at her phone. No missed calles.

“AGH!!”  she plopped back down on her bed. “Stupid Jungkook. How much sleep does he need?!”  

Areum took a pillow and screamed into it.

“Why did they have to put so much pressure on me like this?! When I wanted a guy no one wants me now I have 3 guys!”

Her phone beeped notifying her of a text. She sat up quickly and opened it up.

Don’t even think about calling me, I’m off to class and leaving my phone at home because I know your crazy is going to annoy me all day. I can’t make this choice for you noona, you have to make it yourself. Think about it some more noona, I think you already know the answer. You’re just too scared to admit it. Areum sighed and dropped her phone down on the bed. She was more confused now after Jungkook’s text.

“Why can’t he help me? What kind of brother is he?” She mumbled.

She dropped her body back onto her bed. She closed her eyes and thought about all 3 of them. Kai, Kris, and Sehun. Kai was her first love, Kris her savior, and Sehun her best friend. They were all so different, how was she supposed to choose?

“Whats going on?” Sehun asked as he made his way to the room where all his friends were at. Suho had texted him earlier to come out and have dinner with him at this new sushi place. Sehun of course agreed. When he got there he saw all 11 of his friends there sitting down, Kris and Kai sitting on one side of the table while the others sat on the other side. It looked more like an intervention than anything else.

“Sit down Sehun.” Suho gestured to the chair next to Kai. Sehun, confused, walked over to the older boy and sat down.

“Now that all of you are here we can begin.”

“Whats going on?” Kris sighed as he rubbed his head.

“This is an intervention!” Baekhyun yelled.

The three boys looked over to the smaller boy with their eyebrows raised.

“An intervention on what?” Kai asked.

“Cut the bull Kai,” DO said as he stared at the younger boy. “Don’t act like we haven’t noticed the tension between you three lately.”

The three boys went silent and looked at everywhere else besides each other.

“So we’re here to help you guys fix this.” Lay said.

“There’s nothing to fix.” Sehun said emotionless.

Luhan reached over the table and smacked his head.

“HYUNG!”

“Shut up you brat. This is the attitude that made us do this stupid little intervention in the first place!” Luhan scolded.

“If its so stupid why are you here?”

“Suho made me come.”

“Its not stupid!” Suho yelled.

Luhan rolled his eyes, “Honestly it’s not like this is going to ruin our friendship. We’ve been friends since we were in diapers!” Luhan spoke up.

Kai, Kris, and Sehun looked away awkwardly. 

Suho sighed and looked at the three boys. “Look,” he started, “I know I have no place to tell you what you guys should do. This is your personal business. Areum, Areum is a great girl and any guy will be lucky to have her. But please don’t let this ruin our friendship. We’ve been together for so long. I know if Areum knows about this she wouldn’t like it either.”

“Seiously,” Chen spoke up, “its really awkward now. Like we want to invite you guys out but when you three see each other you guys just ignore one another. Its uncomfortable.”

“I agree.” It was now Chanyeol who talked. “Its like all the fun is up and is replaced with this awkward bubble of tension.”

“I second that. This needs to end.” Tao inputted.

“What we’re trying to say is, you three need to talk it out.” it was Lay’s turn now. “You three have been avoiding this topic for too long. Obviously all three of you love her right? And you all confessed I’m assuming.” he stopped to look at their expressions to confirm he was right. “if you all did it then theres no going back. So instead of not talking to each other and making our group of friends awkward as hell, fix it.”

Suho sighed. “What we hope you three do is to talk about this like men. Lay it all out on the table how you guys feel and think. Work it out. Whoever she chooses or whatever happens talk about it because this situation is suffocating the hell out of us.” The boys all stood up. The three looked up at all of them.

“We’ll be outside so you three can have some privacy.” Xiumin said. “Talk about it, but don’t take too long. I do really want to try out the sushi here.”

With that the boys walked out of the room and slide the sliding doors closed. The three boys looked at each other awkwardly.

The room was quiet for a few minutes until Kai let out a sigh.

“This is stupid. What are we doing?”

Kris and Sehun looked at him.

“Hyung, Sehun, I don’t want this to ruin our friendship.”  

Kris sighed. “You’re right.” He poured himself some sake.

Sehun looked at his hyungs. “So what do we do about it?”

They were quiet for a few seconds.

“I love her.” Kai said. Kris and Sehun looked over at him. “I’ve ed up in the past. I lost her but now, now I want a chance to start over. To do things right this time.”

Kris looked down at his now empty cup. “I still love her as well.”

“I know.” Kai said.

Kris chuckled. “You know we had a really good thing going on. We were perfect back in China. She was the first and only girl that I ever felt this way for. She was so different from everyone else.  Did you know that she didn’t care for me when we first met? She asked me for my email so we can email each other our parts in our project.” He smiled softly. “That girl.” he looked down at his hands. “Did you know she plays the piano? I remember the day I found out she was the one. She was playing the piano at school. She played the piano with me.” he smiled at his hands. “she was the first girl to make me believe in love. I never really cared for love. I was starting to doubt that I would ever find a girl I would love. No one back in China ever interested me. But that was until she came along. She changed me for the better. She made me smile a whole lot more. She made me realize that there is a such thing as happily ever after.She was everything I ever wanted and more. I was jealous of you you know?”

Kai looked at Kris confused.

“At your parent’s banquet when we first returned from China. You two danced outside together. I saw it.”

“Oh.” Kai said but a small graced his face when he remembered that night.

“I guess that’s when I started doubting her.” Kris stated glumly.

Kai looked at Kris surprised.

Kris gave out a bitterly chuckle. “I started doubting your relationship with her. I asked her if she was close to you but she said no, but she was hesitant. I doubted her answer but I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. I later found out that you two dated before. That you were her first love. That you were the one who she loved so much when he first met. The one she couldn’t stop thinking about. The one that took me so long to erase from her heart. But I thought it was the past, I put it in the back of my head until I received those pictures of you
