Sunlight shined through the cracks of the blinds in the window waking Areum up from her slumber. She rubbed her eyes to rub away her sleep and looked around the bedroom noticing a body missing from the bed. Where’s Yifan? Did he not come home yesterday? She got up from the bed and stretched her body. She went to the restroom, brushed her teeth and did her morning routine. Still wearing Kris’s oversize t-shirt, she wore it as pajamas, she walked out her bedroom and downstairs after. The scent of eggs and toast filled her nose. she walked towards the kitchen and smiled lovingly as she leaned on the wall at the scene of her fiancé. 

She watched as he made breakfast and smiled. Kris always knew she loved breakfast food. She just never was a morning person and lord help her she was a nightmare in the kitchen. She could only manage to make simple dishes. Kris felt a presence and looked up from the stove and smiled at his love. His eyes roamed her face and went down to her body noticing his shirt. He always loved it when she would wear his clothes even though it swallowed her because of their size difference. He loved it because it shows that she was his. He looked back up at her and smiled.

“Babe take a seat I’m almost done making our breakfast.” Going back to making breakfast after. 

Areum smiled and sat down next to the counter. She put her arms on the counter and rested her head on her hands as gazed at the man she loved making food for her. Its his first day of work and he woke up early to make me food. It should have been the other way around. Yifan…this was just one of the reasons why she fell for him. Areum looked around noticed that his parents weren’t present.

“Where’s mom and dad? and the maids.” she asked.

“The maids are out doing shoppping for the manor. Mom and dad left early this morning. Mom dragged dad out the house early this morning saying she needs to buy things and prepare for tonight’s banquet for the Kim’s.” Kris answers.

 Areum sat up, “Oh right its tonight isn’t it?” I’m meeting the rest of his friends tonight. I wonder how they’re like. Will they like me? This is the first time Yifan is introducing me to them. what if they hate me or him for keeping this a secret for so long?

 Kris turned and saw her in deep thought and saw her worried expression. He then leaned in and rubbed the middle of her eyebrows where they were knotted together. “Don’t worry, I know they’ll love you. Just as much as the guys do.” He smiled at her and kissed her forehead. Areum smiled, “Mhmm.”

“Here eat up sweetheart.”

Areum looked at the plate that was displayed with her with a smile. Kris then took a seat right next to her with his own plate.

“I will eat well! Thank you.” She smiled and kissed Kris’s cheek. Kris returned the smile and ruffled her hair and started eating as well.

“Are you ready for your first day of work?”

“Hm, I am the boss, what is there to be nervous about? If anything they should be getting ready for me,” Kris smirked and looked at Areum.

“Tsk.” Areum grinned.

“Any plans for today? Are you sure you don’t want to go to the company with me? I don’t want you to be bored and alone.” Kris asked worried.

“Don’t worry about it worry wart. I was just going to stroll around Seoul taking in sights. I’ll have Yang with me don’t worry.”

“I’m sorry sweetheart. I said we can go tour together but I haven’t fulfilled that yet.” Kris frowned.

Areum put her utensils down and reached her hands to hold onto Kris’s face. “its ok. It’s not like we are returning to Beijing anytime soon. We have all the time in the world to do it. But for now you go and do your best and make your parents proud. Show them what Wu Yifan can do. Make me proud.” She smiled and pecked Kris’s lips and leaned her forehead on his. Kris gazed at her lovingly. Damn this girl. She then let go and they finished their breakfast full of laughter and conversation.

 After finishing their breakfast Areum and Kris both went back upstairs to finish getting ready for the day. Areum wore shorts and an off the shoulder top. Kris then walked out the restroom with his suit on and went to his tie drawer trying to find a tie. Areum walked behind him, pulled him to the bed, pushed his shoulders down, and brought a tie over his head. Kris looked down at the tie.
