Kris hands an envelope to Wendy.

“Sir?” she asked confused as she took it.

“This is a letter of transfer. You will be moving down to another department effective immediately.”

Wendy looks down at the letter. “Why?” she asked softly.

Kris sighs. “Look, what happened-what happened was a mistake. It should have never happened. I should have never gotten drunk and takened advantage of you. You’re a good worker and firing you would be unfair. The best option is to transfer you. This is the best for both of us.”

“Is this because of Areum?”

Kris clenched his fists. “That’s none of your concern.”

Wendy slowly looked up at him. “Why?” she clenched her fists on the envelope. “Why? What makes her so special? She obviously doesn’t care for you any more if she hasn’t even come tosee you. You haven’t even gone after her either! Its been days! Weeks! You don’t love her anymore right? What we had. I know you felt it too. Kris-“

Kris slammed his hands on the desk and stood up. “That’s enough. Leave now while I’m still being nice.”

“Kris-“

“You are not allowed to call me by my first name Miss Son. Leave before I fire you and have security walk you out.”

Wendy gripped the enveloped and stormed out. Kris sat back down and rubbed his face. 

Areum was back in her office today. She needed to look over some company plans. Even if her job was just over seeing the development of projects she still needed to see if this was going to affect her family’s stocks. She stopped working and looked at the bouquet of flowers on her desk. 

It was on her desk when she came in this morning. According to the employees a new bouquet of roses was sent every single day to her office for a while now. She had taken a look at the card that was on it and it was signed from by WYF. She knew exactly who it was. She sighed and tilted her head back on her chair. Her mind was confused right now. She still didn’t know how she felt towards Kris at this point. She still loved him but she didn’t know if she could continue a relationship or now. Relationship was built on trust and he broke hers. Her best friend was apparently in love with her and she never knew. She didn’t know how she felt about Sehun either. She knew she loved him. But was it only love as a friend? Then there was Kai who was extremely nice to her ever since she came back to Korea. He was her first love and even though she knows its wrong since he’s in a relationship she could still feel butterflies when she was with him. He was her first love after all. She closed her eyes with her head facing the ceiling trying to sort out her life when a knock came from the door.

“Come in.” she said as she sat up. Jungkook walked in.

“Hey noona. Ready to go?”

Areum smiled and stood up and stretched. “Yeah. Let’s go.” She got up and hooked her arms with him as they left the office. 

DO pulled the covers off the body that was laying in his guest room.

“Yah wake up you brat. Its already 3 in the afternoon.”  

The body groaned and pulled the covers back over his head. “5 more minutes.” 

“No! Come on you got to wake up. YAH KIM JONGIN!” he yelled and pulled the blanket off one more time.

Kai groaned and sat up. “Ok, ok I’m up geez.” Kai yawned and stretched.

“You can’t just hide here forever you got to go home one day.” DO said as he sat next to the bed.

“I know. I’m just waiting for everyone to cool down and I’ll go back home. I just don’t want them to ask me questions right now.”

“Well what did you think was going to happen when you decide to break a 5-year relationship out of nowhere?”

Kai rubbed his face. “I was going to do it privately.” He groaned. “I didn’t know they were going to pressure me into a marriage in front of our families.”

“Why’d you do it?”

“Huh?”

“Why’d you do it? You’ve been with Krystal for 5 years. Why all of a sudden?” DO eyed the boy.

Kai looked down at his hands. “I just figured somethings out.” he said softly.

DO eyed the boy curiously. “What things?”

“My future? My life? My plans for a family? I don’t know. When you think about your future you would picture a life with kids with your girlfriend right?”

DO nodded his head as Kai looked at him.

“But I didn’t see myself with Soojung. I couldn’t. No matter how hard I try to picture my life with her and kids, I couldn’t. it felt weird. It didn’t feel right. And then I started to imagine my future with her and I felt so warm inside. It felt so right. I know I shouldn’t feel like that but I did. So I knew. I knew I had to end it with her. I couldn’t continue this lie. I couldn’t keep saying I love her when my heart changed. I couldn’t keep giving her false hope of a future together when there was none.”

“Wait, wait, wait. Her? Who?”
