Kai's POV

“Kai let’s hang out today?” Krystal asked Kai as they walked out of school.

“Sure. Anything for you sweetie.” Kai smiled and held her hand. Her hands are bigger than Areum’s. Her hand were so small. It felt like it’ll slip out of my fingers if I didn’t hold on tight enough.

“Kai so what do you think?”

“Huh. What? You said something?”

“Kai were you listening to me? I said that maybe we can check out that new scary movie that just came out. We should go!”

“Ok sure. Let’s go”.

Kai and Krystal headed to the movies. Kai bought the tickets and the snacks. Afterwards, they headed to their seats. The movie started a little bit after. While watching the movie Kai looked over at Krystal. This is the girl I love. The girl I have been crushing on ever since I saw her freshman year.  It feels right here with her right? Kai shook his head. Of course it is. Kai then slipped his hand into hers and watched the movie. The movie was scary but a bit cheesy and boring. Kai was bored while Krystal seem like she was too. When a certain scene came out and shocked the audience Kai was expecting Krystal to jump and scream, but when he looked Krystal just had a blank face on. He turned back and his mind started to wander to a certain girl.

“Jongin where are we going?”

“To the movies. The boys all wanted to go see it. Sehun had to skip though. His dad needed him home. to be him. I heard this new scary movie came out and apparently it was supposed to be so scary people fainted!”

Areum eyes grew wide and started to fidget in the car seat. “Uhm do we have to watch that? I mean there are other good movies that came out. Why not watch a funny comedy?”

“Nah sounds boring. Where is the thrill in that? Wait….you are not perhaps scared are you?”

Areum gulped. “I am actually. I never been a fan. I would get these nightmares after…I can’t Jongin.”

“Areum come on I really want to watch this movie. Don’t be such a wimp. Lets go! Don’t worry I’ll be right by your side ok?”

Kai gave her puppy dog eyes that she couldn’t refuse. They went into the movie theater and the movie soon started. Throughtout the whole movie Areum’s hands were on his. He felt her squeeze his hands every time a scary scene will pop up.
