SLAM

Kai walked out the door furious and drove away. He thought Kris would treat her right. He thought he wasn’t going to hurt her, but he was wrong. Kris didn’t only cheat on her, she found him in bed with another woman. He hit his steering wheel and let out a frustrated yell. Where can she be? She only knows us here in Seoul. She couldn’t stay with the boys right? He thought for a bit and then turned his car around quickly. He knew where she was. 

“What do you mean you slept with her?” Tao growled out when Luhan and Kris told him the situation. He was pissed off. Didn’t I personally threaten that girl not to do anything? How dare she. He glared at the older boy who was just looking down in shame.

“Yet she’s still working for you and you haven’t apologized to Areum yet or even look for her.”

“I want to give her space…” Kris said softly.

“Tsk. Space. Yeah right.” He stood up. “This is all your fault. So you can either fix it or mope around about it. And let me tell you gege right now I’m not on your side. Jungkook is here too. Do you think you’ll even be able to have a second chance with her now? My advice you get your together or you’ll lose her and it won’t be anyone’s fault but yours.” he snarled and walked out with a slam.

After Tao left Kris rubbed his face with his hands. He knew he messed up but how was he supposed to face her. He was ashamed of what he did. Luhan walked over to him.

“I hate to say it but the kid’s right.” Kris looked up at Luhan. “if you don’t do something you might lose her to someone else.”

Kris narrowed his eyes at Luhan, “To Kai?" he let out a bitter chuckle, "By the way he stormed out like that I bet you he's already looking for her." 

Luhan sighed, “I’m just saying Areum’s a great girl. Do you think she won’t attract others? You opened the doors for anyone at this point.” 

Sehun walked into his place and heard laughter. He walked into the living room and saw Jungkook and Areum on the couch surrounded by junk food. The two looked comfortable with blankets around them watching tv.

“Sehun!” Areum greeted him with a smile which he returned.

“Hyung!” Jungkook said as he went over to give Sehun a hug. “Its been so long.”

“It has. Look at you. You got taller. A lot taller.”

“And handsome. You forgot about that.”   

“Psh. Not more handsome than me.”    

Areum rolled her eyes. How is that the two most important males in her life so conceited.

“Handsome my . You two look like a sack of potatoes.”

Jungkook and Sehun both glared back at her.

“Oh really? Then why were you staring at this sack of potatoes earlier when I was sleeping? And caressing my face. Hmm?”   

Areum blushed. “I wasn’t caressing it! There was a bug on it and I wanted to get rid of it.”

“Riiiiggghhhhtttt.” Jungkook said.

“ITS TRUE!”

“Whatever you say. I know you were checking me out. If you wanted to touch Areum all you have to do was ask. I would have let you.” Sehun winked which made her flush even more. She threw a pillow at him.

“Shut up!” causing the two males to laugh. 

Sehun turned back to Jungkook. “Where are you staying at Kookie?”

“At Royal’s Hotel. I would stay here but….seeing that you only have one bedroom in this gigantic place, I rather not sleep on the couch.”

“That’s what I said.” Areum spoke up. “Seeing as the lone wolf wants to stay in this penthouse with more than enough space for 3 more bedrooms he renovated it to become just open space. Stupid huh?”

“Psh yeah.”

Sehun glared at the two siblings and huffed. “Whatever.”

Ding Dong! Ding Dong! KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

The three looked over to the door wondering who could it be banging on the door aggressively. Sehun walked over to the door and opened it.

“Kai hyung?” he said surprised seeing the boy there. 

Kai ignored Sehun and walked into his house and looked around. Once his eyes landed on Areum he walked up to her and yanked her into his chest. Jungkook’s eyes widened. What the.

“Jongin?” her voice came out soft and confused.

“Why didn’t you tell me?”

“Wha-“

“I know what he did.” He tightened his hold on her. “That damn bastard. Areum, I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I failed again.” He said into her hair.

Areum pressed her lips together. How many more people have to find out. she thought sadly.

“Shh. I’m here. I’m here now Areum. I’m here.” He hushed her. Kai was angry. He wasn’t going to do anything before. She had Kris and he had Krystal but what Kris did piss him off. He was no better than Kai. He didn’t deserve her. Kris opened the doors now. He messed up and Kai is taking this as a second chance. If he gave an opening Kai sure as hell was going to take it. This time he wasn't going to mess up. He finally got his feelings in order. It took him 5 freaking years, but now he knows. He knows what he has to do now. 

“Ahem.” The two pulled away from the hug. Aruem pushed Kai away and awkwardly looked at her brother who had a questioning gaze towards the two. 

“Who are you?” Jungkook asked as he eyes Kai up and down, and pulled Aruem next to him holding onto her wrist. He was the other guy at Kris’s earlier. Who is he?

Kai eyed their hands and glared at Jungkook, “and who are you? You’re the guy who punched Kris hyung earlier.”

“You punched Yifan?!” Areum exclaimed as she looked at her brother.

Jungkook looked the other side avoiding his sisters angry gaze and let out a nervous cough. “Ahem, it wasn’t a serious punch. He wasn’t that hurt.” He mumbled.

“So you did do it?! YAH!” she hit his head.

“You don’t go around hitting people!” she hit him again. “Have you no manners?!”
