At the Dorm

Author’s POV

 

Royalty and BTS were all busy getting ready in the dorm.  The guys decided to get ready in their own dorm since it would most likely be faster.

“What are you doing, Ann?” Rose asks as she entered the kitchen, only to find her donsaeng glued to her phone.

“Well, I couldn’t think of anything to do for my self-cam, so I decided to do a mini Q&A session. That way, it’ll include everyone. I’m writing down the questions our fans already sent us,” Ann says.

Rose nods as she makes her a bowl of cereal.  “That’s a good idea. Sounds fun, too. I just decided to do a tour of BigHit. It’s not much we can do since we barely have time,” Rose says.

“Agreed,” Ann says before taking a sip of her orange juice.  “So, how was it?”

Rose looks over her shoulder as she opens the fridge to get the milk, “How was what?”

“Aw, unnie! Don’t act stupid. I told you I wanted to hear everything that happened! Now spill please,” Rose says before taking a bite of her waffles.

“To be honest, it was probably the best date I’ve ever had. He was a gentleman and very sweet, though he could be so corny at times. Overall, it was a fantastic night,” Rose says with a smile.

“And. . .” Ann encourages.

“I may have sorta, kinda kissed him,” Rose says before shoving a spoonful of Trix in .

“Ooooooo! On the first date? I think I see a lovely relationship in the near future,” Ann says before giggling.

“What relationship?” Hyun asks as he makes his way to the kitchen.

“Unnie and Namjoon oppa,” Ann says.

“Oh, so the date went well, I take it?” Hyun asks before stealing Ann’s other waffle.

“YAH! GIVE IT BACK!” Ann yells as she tries to reach for her waffle.

Hyun just takes a bite of it before holding it in the air.  “Try and get it shorty,” Hyun says.

“I live with a bunch of two year olds. But to answer our question, yes. Our date went well. Yah! Don’t you start that habit of talking with your mouth full, too!” Rose exclaims.

“What is going on in here?” Jeong asks as he makes his way out of his room towards the kitchen.

“Good morning everyone!” Scynthia cheerfully says, following Jeong.

“Why are you so happy?” Hyun asks as he finishes the last of his, well, Ann’s waffle.

“HEY!! I was going to eat that! You just don’t take a person’s food! That’s like a federal crime!” Ann exclaims at Hyun.

“Yeah. . .you do look happy. . .you have this glow about you this morning,” Rose says as she scans Scynthia.

Scynthia just shrugs.  “Nothing. I just woke up happy is all.”

Ann turns to look at Scynthia, only to have her eyes widen.  She then looks at Rose and subtly points to her neck, making Rose gasp in turn.

“What is it now?” Jeong asks.

“Umm . . .nothing. I just need Scyn and Ann to help me choose an outfit for my next date,” Rose says before pulling Scynthia into her room, Ann following right behind them.

“What is going on with those three?” Jeong asks before picking up an apple and taking a bite of it.

Hyun shrugs.  “They probably went to talk about the hickey on Scyn’s neck,” he says nonchalantly.

Jeong starts having a coughing fit.  “WHAT!”

 

 

 

Scynthia’s POV

 

“What is it? Hey, stop pushing me!” I yell.  Seriously.  What is it with these two.

“Spill,” Ann says.

“What?” I ask.

“Come on. We don’t have time for this. Now spill. What happened yesterday?” Rose asks.

“Umm. . .nothing. . .” I say.

“Really?” Rose asks.

“Yeah, really,” I say.

“Then, you wouldn’t have a problem explaining this, would you?” Ann asks me as she points to my neck.

I go to look at Rose’s mirror only to find the mark still present.

“. I thought I covered that up,” I say.

"That must have been a heavy make out session," Rose says.

"Umm. . .yeah. . .it was," I nervously say.

“Did you do the deeds?” Ann asks.

“Why do you keep referring to the deeds?” Rose asks before realizing what she asked.  "Did you have ?"

Ann shrugs before looking back at me.

“Maybe. . .” I say.

“Aw! How was it? Was he sweet? He didn’t pressure you to do anything did he? Do I need to fight someone?” Rose asks.

I couldn’t help but giggle.  “No. He was really sweet, caring, and gentle about it. I’m glad my first time was with him.”  I tell them.  I couldn’t help but smile over the thoughts of last night.

“Alright. I’m glad everything went well for you,” Rose says.  “Now, let’s cover that mark up. I might have some make up your shade.”

“Thanks, Rose,” I tell her.

“Speaking of yesterday, I told unnie about the Taemin thing. She said she warned security about him at this building and at the company. So we won’t be seeing him anytime soon, hopefully,” Ann says.

“What Taemin thing?” Rose asks as she starts brushing some cover up on my neck.

“Jerkface came over yesterday while you were getting ready. He demanded for me to tell him where Scyn was. Like can you believe that?” Ann says while shaking her head.

“He didn’t hurt you or anything did he?” I ask her.

She just shakes her head.

“Ann. . .” I say, knowing she’s not telling me something.

“Really, he didn’t. All he did was threaten me with Lay but I doubt he meant it,” she says.

“Ann! You should have told someone,” Rose says and I nod in agreement with her.

“It wasn’t serious. He was just mad that I didn’t tell him anything. Anyways, let’s go. Oppa is probably wondering what we’re doing in here for so long,” Ann says.

“How is it?” I ask as I stand up.

“Much better. I can’t even see it,” Rose says and Ann gives me a thumbs up.

“Great,” I say.

“Next time, tell your man to take it down a notch,” Rose says before snorting.

“YAH!” I yell.

They just laugh and walk out the room.  I could only sigh and shake my head as I follow them out.

 

 

 

 

BigHit

Author’s POV

 

Royalty and BTS were sitting in the dance studio, waiting for their dance and vocal instructors to come in. 

Jin, Ann, and Jimin were talking amongst each other.  Namjoon and Rose were constantly flirting with each other.  Hoseok and Scynthia were being all lovey dovey, while the rest were just hanging out.

 

Hyejin the comes in the studio with their known vocal instructor and some guy neither BTS nor Royalty have seen before.

“Where’s Shaun at?” Ann quietly asks no one in particular.

“I don’t know. Maybe he’s running late,” Jeong says.”

 

“Alright guys. As you know, today starts the day of practicing for Royalty’s debut showcase. Since Royalty are pretty good on their two singles, we’ll start with the Royalty and BTS collaborations. The second half od today, we’ll work on your solos and group collabs,” Hyejin begins.

BTS and Royalty just nod so Hyejin continues on.

“So I’m going to tell you all again the collaborations and who you all are performing with. Namjoon, Rose, and Taehyung will be performing. Hoseok and Scynthia will do another one. Jimin and Ann will be one. Yoongi, Jeong, and Jin will be another one, as well as Jungkook, Hyun, and Ann. Let’s get started shall we? Now, you all now your vocal coach, Jiae. We do however have a new choreographer. This is actually his first time working with BigHit. This is Minki, everyone.”

“Hello everyone. I’m excited to work with you all,” Minki nicely says before bowing and smiling.

“Now, we’ll split you guys up, as some of you will start with choreography and other will start with vocals. Some of you guys may not need choreography for your performance. Yoongi, Jeong, Jin, Jimin, and Ann will start in choreography and the rest of you will start in vocals,” Hyejin finishes.

“Alright guys,” Jiae starts, “let’s move to another location to practice.”  Everyone nods and the ones starting in vocals followed her out of the room.

 

 

Vocal Room

 

“Now, before we begin, I want you all to look over the songs, first. Namjoon, Rose, and Taehyun, you guys have kind of a soft smooth ballad type song,” Jiae says before passing out the lyrics.

“Scynthia and Hoseok, you two have a rap song, so I don’t think it’ll take you two too long to learn, especially you Scynthia, since you catch on to lyrics pretty quickly,” Jiae says.

“Got it,” Scynthia says.

“Now, I know Ann is in choreography now. Jungkook and Hyun, you guys have a pretty cool song. It’s pretty catchy and I’d say pretty easy to learn, as well. Since, I’ve worked with you all many times before, I know how Ann is about her vocals. She will most likely make this harder than it is, so just try to tough it out and help her if you can,” Jiae says.

“Yes noona,” Hyun says and Jungkook nods.

“Awesome. Let’s start shall, we? Let’s begin with Hoseok and Scynthia. That way, the rest of you can study your parts,” Jiae says.

 

 

Scynthia’s POV

 

“Alright, whenever you two are ready,” Jiae unnie tells us.

I look at Hoseok and he nods.  I give unnie a thumbs up and she starts the music.

I begin rapping my part, pretty smoothly I might add for my first time going through it.  Hoseok begins his part and I couldn’t help but giggle at his lyrics.

We both finish the song.

“Not bad, not bad at all. A few more practice sessions, and you’ll guys have it down pact. Alright, Rose’s group is up next,” Jiae says.

“What was so funny?” Hoseok asks as we take our seats.

“You’re lyrics. Cocky much?” I say before smiling.

He shrugs, “I only helped with writing a few of the lyrics.”

I nod.  “So did I. I wanted to write more but we were filming the music video at the time.”

“It’s still good, though. It’s like we kind of wrote this song together,” he says before smiling.

I shake my head at him.  I feel him lean in closer to me.

“I see you covered up something,” he says and I swear I see a smirk forming on his face.

I playfully shove him away.  “I had to. I don’t want everyone to see it. I already got a talk from Rose and Ann. And I’m pretty sure Jeong and Hyun know about it.”

Hoseok just smiles, like it’s something to be proud of.  I let out a sigh.  What am I going to do with this guy?

 

 

 

Dance Studio

 

Jimin’s POV

 

I don’t know why, but I have this strange feeling about this new choreographer.  I’m hoping my feelings are wrong and that nothing happens, though.

“I’m gonna put on my brace right quick.” Ann says before getting up and walking over to her bag.

“Where do you think you're going?” Minki asks.

“I’m going to put my ankle brace on. I have to wear it whenever I dance,” Ann says after she turned around to face the dance teacher.

“Well, next time, you ask permission if you can do that. Hurry up and put it on and get back over here so I can explain to you the rules,” Jinki nastily says.

And there it is.  I knew this guy was up to something.

“Yes sir,” Ann says before bowing and hurrying along.

“This dude seems like a prick,” Yoongi hyung whispers to me.

I only nod in agreement as I keep my eyes on Ann, making sure he doesn’t do anything to her.  She then comes back and stands next to me.

“He seems really nice doesn’t he?” she whispers to me. Me and Jeong couldn’t help but chuckle.

“What are you all laughing at?” Minki suddenly asks.

“Nothing, sir,” Jin says.

“Whatever. Now, I have some rules when you’re under my teaching. First, you are to be here on time. I don’t care what you have to do but you are to be here when told. Second, you are to stay here until I say you can go. If I say you have to stay here until 1am practicing, you are to stay here until 1am, whether I am here with you or not,” Minki sternly says.

“Is he serious?” I hear Ann say to herself.

“What was that?” Minki asks.  Uh-oh.  This isn’t looking too good.

“Nothing, sir,” Ann says.

“You're on a roll already, aren't you? This is your last warning. There is no talking back. There is no talking unless I ask you something or if I tell you to speak,” Minki says.

Is this guy serious?  Who does he think he is?

“Do I make myself clear?!” he yells, making Ann flinch beside me.

“Y-yes, sir,” Ann stutters out.  I feel her slowly make her way slightly behind me.

“Now,” face starts, “The group of three will start first. The left over two will listen to the songs you’ll be performing to. Now hurry up and let’s begin,” he says before going to the speakers.  We do have names, you know.

“This is going to be a long day,” Jin says before going to the center of the room with Yoongi and Jeong.

I turn towards Ann.  “Here, let’s go over there and listen to the songs,” I say as I point to the corner.  She nods and walks over there.

I could only sigh.  This is going to be a long couple of days.

 

 

 

Vocal Room

 

Rose’s POV

 

“Ajikdo nae mami apa
Naneun eottokke no
Neo eopsido gwaenchanhdago nan”

Me and Taehyun sang the ending lines of the song.

“That was really good! Once you guys put some emotion in it, it’ll turn out to be a beautiful, sad song,” Jiae says before giving us a smile.

“Thanks, unnie,” I say.  Me and Tae high five each other.

“Alright, Jungkook and Hyun. You two are next,” Jiae says.

 

“I’m gonna go get a drink. I’ll be back,” Tae says before leaving.

I go and grab my camera before taking a seat.  I’ve been recording some behind the scene stuff with my self-cam.

“Well guys, that was us practicing for our debut! I can’t believe how close we’re getting! So exciting!” I say.

I then feel a presence next to me.  I look up to see Namjoon.

“Am I able to join the Rose cam?” he asks.

I nod before aiming the camera to face the both of us.

“Please welcome our special guest on the Rose cam!” I cheerfully say.

“Hi everyone! I hope you all are doing well and anticipating for Royalty’s debut,” Namjoon says to the camera.

“Woo! Royalty!” I hear Scynthia say from across the room.

“That was Scynthia. She says hi, too,” I say before smiling.

“Can we tell them what we’re going to be singing?” Namjoon asks.

“Hmm. . .I don’t think so. Maybe we can describe the song?” I say.

“First, me, Rose, and Tae are going to be performing this together,” Namjoon says.

I nod.  “The song is a sad ballad but upbeat enough for some choreography,” I say before looking at Namjoon.  “How was that explanation?”

“I think it was perfect! Isn’t she great guys? You all are going to be blown away by her voice when you hear her live,” he says.

I giggle.  “Thanks. I’m excited to perform for you all!"

“Well, I’ll finish showing you guys around when we get to the dance studio!” I say to the camera before turning it off.

 

I look over to Namjoon to see him smiling.

“What are you so happy for?” I ask him.

He shrugs.  “It could be a lot of things. It could be that I had an amazing date with an amazing girl last night. It could even be that the date ended amazingly with an amazing surprise kiss. Or, it could be that I just got to perform with this amazing girl who has a truly amazing voice.”

My cheeks immediately go red.  But before I could say anything. . .

“I’m back. What’d I miss?” Tae asks as he comes to join us.

“Nothing. I was just saying how beautiful Rose’s voice is,” Namjoon says.  I couldn’t help but smile, seeing how annoyed he is that Tae interrupted us. . .again.

“Ah. You do indeed. I’m excited for the performance,” Taehyung says.

“Me, too. It’s going to be fun. I think we sound good together,” I say before his phone rings and he goes to answer.

I go back to my phone until I felt someone really close to me. 

“This is what I wanted to do before we were interrupted,” Nmajoon whispers in my ear. 

“Wha” but before I could even finish my word, his lips were on mine.

He then pulls away with a smirk.  “I couldn’t continue my day without a kiss from my Rose.”

I just bit my bottom lip and looked back at my phone.  Why does this man just have to make me blush so much?

“You look cute all flustered, though I know I’ve told you this before,” he says to me.

“You need to stop with all the corniness,” I say.

“I would but I know you secretly like it,” he says.

I just sigh and go back to looking at my phone.

 

Sadly, I do like it.

 

 

 

 

Cafeteria

Author’s POV

 

Everyone decided to meet in the cafeteria for their lunch break.

 

“Where’s the rest of them at?” Scynthia asks.

“I don’t know. It’s already been 15 minutes,” Hyun says.

Just then, the ones who were in dancing first finally joined everyone else.

“ that teacher. I hope he falls in a damn ditch,” Yoongi says as he slams his food on the table and plops in his seat.

“What happened to you guys?” Hoseok asks.

“You don’t even want to know,” Jeong says before taking a bite of his food.

“It was complete torture,” Jin adds, “I don’t know how I made it.”

“That er can kiss my ,” Yoongi says, still upset.

“What happened?” Jungkook asks.

“He’s a prick is what happened. I’ve had hard teachers but this guy is something else,” Jimin says.

“He doesn’t even allow us to talk. How are we supposed to learn if we can’t even ask questions. Like why can’t we have Shaun or our other choreographers?” Jeong says dejectedly.

“If it wasn’t for the fact that we had to do vocals next, we would still be in there,” Jimin says.

“Are you alright, Ann? You haven’t said much,” Rose notices.

“I’m fine,” she says.

“She had it the worst for some reason. He basically yelled at her the whole time,” Jin sadly adds.

“She didn’t even do anything wrong. Cocky bastard,” Jimin spats out.

“Do I need to go knock some sense into him?” Scynthia comes up.

“I rather you not. I don’t want to be hated even more,” Ann says before resting her head on the table.

“Aren’t you going to eat?” Taehyun asks.

“I’m too exhausted to eat,” Ann says.

“You need to eat something, though,” Namjoon says.

“Here, you can have half of my sandwich,” Jimin says

Ann sighs before lifting her head up and taking the sandwich.  “Thanks.”

“I’m proud of you, Ann. You didn’t let him break you,” Jeong says.

“Tch. I wish I could break every part of him,” Yoongi adds.

Ann couldn’t help but giggle.  “Thanks. How did vocals go? You all like your songs?”

“Mhmm! I can’t wait to perform. Though, I’m now scared to learn the dance,” Taehyun says.

“Thank the Lord we don’t have a dance or I would probably be in so much trouble for going off on that teacher,” Scynthia says.

“I wonder if he’ll let me do my self-cam there,” Rose says.

“You’ll be lucky enough if he lets you breathe,” Yoongi says.

 

They continued chatting and eating before going back to practice.
