Jeong’s POV

 

For some reason, I’m feeling super energized this morning, even after only getting a few hours of sleep.

I already went through my morning routine.  Since we’re most likely gonna be learning more choreography today, I just dressed in some casual clothing, even though I was tempted to just go in my pajamas.

 

Hmmm, since I’m up, I guess I could do a self-cam today but what could I do it on?  Scynthia did a tour of our dorm, Hyun did our makeovers.  What else could I actually do?

Maybe I could record us from the time they wake up to the time we come back to sleep.  I know the film crew kind of does this already, but they leave the in between stuff out.  So maybe I can give our fans some extra-extra behind the scenes?  Eh, worth a shot.

Speaking of our fans, I should probably tell the rest of the members to start using our Twitter account. 

I go to my room and get my camera.  I turn it on and face it towards me.

“Hi everyone! Royalty’s leader reporting to the self cam today! How are all the royals doing out there this lovely morning? I’m feeling pretty good, myself.”

“Well, I don’t really know what to show you guys, so I’ll just try to film stuff that usually doesn’t get aired. How does that sound?”

“Sound good? Okay, let’s go see what the other members are up to,” I say to the camera before turning it around.

 

 

I walk out of my room and into the living room. 

“Wow, everyone is up and ready!” I excitedly say.

“Everyone except lazy over there,” Rose says from the kitchen counter.

“It’s not her fault. I kept her up pretty late last night. I’ll wake her up,” Scynthia says as she comes out the bathroom.

I then point the camera towards Scynthia, as she stands in front of Ann’s sleeping figure.  She then squats down and gently shakes Ann.

“Everyone,” I say to the camera, “it’s an Ann waking up in her natural habitat.”  Hyun and Rose chuckle

“Hey Ann. Wake up. It’s time to go to the company,” she tells Ann.

“Nooo. I just fell asleep,” Ann says.

“I know, I know. You can sleep on the way there,” Scynthia says as she stands back up.

I hear Ann sighing before she gets up and heads to the bathroom.

“Wow. I’m glad I got that on camera because that was the quickest she woke up,” I say.

Scynthia just shrugs.  Huh, I wonder what’s up with her?  She's been pretty quiet ever since we got home last night.

My thoughts were interrupted when our door opened, showing noona walking through.

 

“Noona! Come say hi to the camera,” Hyun says.

“Guys! I don’t need to be on camera,” noona says as she hides her face behind her hands.

“Oh come on, unnie! We want to show off our beautiful manager!” Rose says as she goes to pull noona towards the camera.

“Don’t forget awesome, too!” Scynthia adds.

I then go up to noona, facing the camera towards her.

“This is our beautiful and awesome manager everyone! She’s kind of camera shy,” I say before chuckling.

Ann then comes out her room.

“Alright. Let’s go to the company everyone,” noona says as she continues to hid her face from the camera.

“Unnie! I didn’t get breakfast,” Ann says.

“I’ll get you a smoothie on the way. Hurry or we’ll be late,” noona says before leading us out.

“Yay! Unnie is the best,” Ann happily says.

 

 

We are now on our way to the company.  Noona stopped to buy us all breakfast.  Isn’t she the best?

Since I’m in the passenger seat, I turn the camera so it faces us all.

“We are now on our way to the company. Noona was nice enough to buy us all breakfast.”

“Hooray for noona!” Hyun says.

“Unnie is the best!” Rose cheers.

“Unnfjgv brocks!” Ann says.

Rose then turns around to his Ann on the leg.  “It’s not polite to talk with your mouth full. I will break you of this habit,” she says before turning back around.

“Oh unnie! Turn the radio up please!” Scynthia suddenly cheers.

“Oh dear,” Hyun says while shaking his head.

“Here we go,” Rose says.

I laugh while I continue to record everyone.

“OH DAMN RA VI. I HUSTLE YELLOW,” Scynthia yells.

“OH GOD!” I hear Ann say.

I see Rose look at the camera.  “This is what we deal with. Them ‘turning up’ every morning. Like I swear Ann was just complaining about waking up 10 minutes ago,” Rose says before giggling at the two.

“I’m on my way tto kal-eul gal ttae. I’m on my way gyesog kal-eul galge,” Scynthia continues to rap.

“OH GAAAHHH DAMN RA DAMN RA v.i.v.i,” Ann continues.

“Are they barking?” Hyun asks.  “I don’t know if I should laugh or be slightly terrified right now.”

“RAH RAH v.i. RAHHHHHH,” they say at the same time.

 (OHHHH GAAWWWWDDD!  Goodness. Tis on point, I tell you!)

“Alright, sorry to end the concert but we’re here now,” noona says as she stops the van.

“AWWW,” Ann and Scynthia say.

“Thank goodness. Let me out of this thing,” Rose says before getting out of the van, as the rest follow.

I chuckle.  “Well, royals,” I say to the camera, “that’s how our everyday morning trip to the company usually goes. I’ll make sure to film some of our practice for you all later! Bye!”

 

Author’s POV

 

Royalty is all seated on the floor in the dance studio.  They are all waiting for the CEO to come tell them the news.

Everyone is talking amongst themselves, except Ann who fell asleep with her head laying on Rose’s lap.

Just then, the practice room’s door opens, revealing seven guys.

“What are you guys doing here?” Hyun asks.

“Yeah. I thought you weren’t supposed to be here until t-tonight?” Scynthia nervously stutters.

“Well, we didn’t have any more schedules,” Jungkook says.

“Besides, we wanted to surprise you all,” Hoseok says cheerfully.

“HI ROSE!” Taehyung says excitedly. . .and loudly.

“Umm. . .hey Taehyung,” Rose awkwardly says.  What they both don’t see is Namjoon glaring at V.

 

 

Scynthia’s POV

 

My jaw basically fell to the floor when I saw Hoseok walk through the door.  I wasn’t prepared to talk to him yet.  I still don’t know exactly what I’m going to say.

Before I knew it, he sat down next to me and kissed me on the cheek.

“Hey, Scyn. Am I glad to see you,” he says while smiling his hopey smile.

“M-missed you, t-too,” I say.  Aish.  I’m stuttering.  I can’t help it, though.  I’m all of a sudden extremely nervous.

“Are you okay, Scyn? Something on your mind?” he asks me.

I quickly shake my head.  “I’m f-fine. Perfectly fine.”

He gives me this look as if he doesn’t quite believe me but soon shrugs it off.

Aish.  Why is this happening now?  I'm not prepared for this.

 

 

Rose’s POV

 

I was just sitting there, braiding Ann’s hair as she was sleeping before I hear this voice.

“Hey babe. Miss me?” Namjoon says as he sits next to me.

“As if,” I automatically say back.

“I missed, you too, my Rose. You didn’t have any trouble without me here, did you?” Namjoon says.

I look at him.  “Why would I be having trouble?” I ask him.

“Because I wasn’t here. I know you’ve gotten used to my presence so it must have felt weird without me here,” he says to me.

Is he real right now?

“Did you change your hair? I have to say it looks good on you. I think you’ve gotten even more beautiful since I left, if that’s even possible.”

I know that was a corny line but I couldn’t help but blush.

“T-thanks,” I say.  Damn it!  I stuttered!

“Now that I’m back, I can take you out on that date now,” he says to me.

I raise an eyebrow.  “I don’t ever remember me agreeing to go on a date with you.”

He just smiles and looks right in my eyes.  “Will you go on a date with me, Meigui?” 

Well, .  He even used my real name.

His smile then drops and he gets this serious look on his face.

“In all seriousness Meigui. I really like you and I hope you’ll let me take you out,” he says and my gaze doesn’t leave his.  I couldn’t help but feel touched.

As I’m opening my mouth to answer him, someone jumps in between us.

“Hi, Rose! How have you been?” V asks.

“W-what? Oh, um good,” I say.  W-what?  How did he even get here?

Namjoon just sighs.  “I’ll just talk to you later, Rose,” he says before standing up and going next to Yoongi.

“Ummm. . .did I interrupt something?” V asks me.

I couldn’t help but sigh and shake my head.  

 

 

Author’s POV

 

The CEO and Hyejin then walk through the door and stand in front of everyone.

Royalty and BTS quickly stand up and bow to Mr. Bang.

“It’s alright everyone. Please sit back down. Oh, and will someone wake Ann up?” Mr. Bang says before chuckling.

“I’ll do it!” Scynthia hurriedly says as she walks over to kick Ann in the arm.  I couldn't sit next to Hoseok.  I couldn't even look him in the eyes, Scynthia thought.

“YAH! Don’t kick my dongaeng!” Jin exclaims.

“It’s not like she felt it anyways. She’s still asleep,” Hyun says before laughing.

Rose then starts shaking Ann.  “Ann, get your up now!”

“Whaaaaaat,” Ann whines as she slowly sits up.  She rubs her eyes before scanning the room.  Once her eyes land on the CEO, she immediately stands up and bows.

“Sorry, Mr. Bang,” she says.

“It’s alright, Ann. You can have a seat,” Mr. Bang says.

Ann sits back down with reddened cheeks as everyone snickers at her.  Jimin, who had his eyes on her since he walked in the room, chuckled.  Cute, he thought.

“Anyways. I’ve called you all here because I have some news regarding Royalty’s debut. As you all know, Royalty’s debut is right around the corner. Mnet has contacted me and has informed me that they want to make a special out of your showcase.”

“What do you mean?” Jeong asks.

“Instead of a regular debut showcase, the want to make it much more than that. They want to make a live, one hour special, just on your debut showcase,” Mr. Bang says before smiling.

“No way!” Rose exclaims.

“THAT IS AWESOME!” Hyun shouts and everyone else cheers.

Hyejin and Mr. Bang couldn’t help but chuckle.

“Yes way,” Mr. Bang says.  “I was surprised myself. I knew your guys’ debut was big news but I didn’t know it was this big. So, because of this, you guys will be preparing many different performances and stages for your debut.”

Everyone nods, waiting for Mr. Bang to tell them more.

“So, in addition to performing your two singles, you’ll be performing different things. You’ll also have a performance with BTS and N.T.”

“This is going to be fun!” Jungkook says.

“N.T? I’ve heard about them! They seem super cool!” Ann says.

“Yeah, I’ve worked with Cassy and she’s pretty cool,” Hyun says.  After he said this, Yoongi sent him the deadliest glare.  If looks could kill, Hyun would be six feet under right now.

“Yes. They are Jellyfish’s new rookie girl group. You’ll somewhat be having a performance battle with them but of course, it’ll be in all fun. Plus, it’ll give both groups exposure that they need.”

“Oh, wow! That sounds exciting! I heard Skylen is a triple threat!” Scynthia says.

“I’m glad you all are excited. Now, me and Hyejin, along with some others, have already planned the stage performances. However, some of your songs have been planned, while others have not. The ones that have not been planned, you can choose on your own. I’m going to read of the performance and they’re in no particular order.

And each member of Royalty will perform a solo act. Ann and Scynthia will do a duet, instead,” Mr. Bang says.  (These may change in the future).

 

“Those are a lot of performances, Mr. Bang. How are we going to learn them all in a short amount of time,” Hyun asks.

“Yeah. We’re already going pretty nonstop, sir,” Jeong adds in.

“Yes. I know it’s going to take even more energy and time to learn them all and perfect them. But I know you can do it. If I didn’t have any faith in you all, none of you would be here. Yes, you guys will probably get less sleep and practice more hours, but I promise you. It’ll all be worth it once you’re on that stage performing your own songs that you all wrote,” Mr. Bang says.

Mr. Bang scanned the faces of Royalty and he smiled at what he saw.  Faces of determination.

Jeong looks at his fellow members and they all nod.  “Alright. We can do it.”

“Great. Today, Royalty will learn their choreography to No Exit. BTS has today and tomorrow off. Royalty, you will have tomorrow off, as well before you all start practicing for your debut.”

Everyone nods in understanding.

“Excellent. You guys can start your day,” Mr. Bang says before walking to the door.  He stopped once he reached it and looked over his shoulder.

“I’m very proud of you all,” he says before smiling and leaving the room.

 

 

Eh.  I don't quite know how I feel about the chapter but it was needed.  Anyways, did you like it?  How do you think Scynthia and Hoseok's talk is going to go?  Is she even going to tell him?  How do you feel about #RoseMonster?  Are you excited about their debut?!
