He sat on top of the cliff & held her in his arms like she was like a fragile doll, pale & white. He watched as her life slipped away. Pain & anger swept inside him. He couldn’t do anything to help her, making him feel hopeless. How he wished he could give his life in return for hers.

‘Why?’ He asked himself, ‘Why her?’ A thousand of times, yet no answer, ‘Oh god, please spare her? Take me please?’ He pleaded silently. He reach out & her pale oval-shaped face. How will he live without her when she had been the center of his life?

He watched her fight for life with every breath she took he saw the pain forming on her face. How he wanted to sooth her, to take away the pain. Tears of heartache & anguish flowed down his cheeks & landed on her pale face. She stirred & open her brown, almond-shaped eyes.

She looked up at him. Oh, how it pained her to see him like this. She saw the pain in his brown, almond-shaped eyes as he tried to hide it from her but she knew him to well. She reached out & wiped away a tear with her long, fragile fingers before closing her eyes again. He held her fingers in his hands & put them to his cheeks, softly running it along his cheeks & started to rock her softly.

She was too weak to speak & he knew what she wanted to say to him, even though she didn’t say a word. He knew she didn’t want to see him in pain, she wanted him to keep on living, had made him promise to keep living & he had promised only to ease her burden but how could he live without her when she was his world, his life, his soul? Now, he would be all alone without a soul, without a heart for she was his heart.

He felt her breathing getting weaker & he held her tighter, believing that that would give her strength. Everything around him went silent. It was like the whole forest was in mourning with him. This was their place. The forest where they first met, where they were free to roam, free to laugh & show their feelings for one another. Now, there will be no more laughter, only pain & sorrow. He closed his eyes & thought of all their happy times.

Her soft painful voice brought him back from his thoughts. He looked down at her. She tried to smile only to frown in pain. He watched her struggle for words & told her not to speak but to rest but she wanted to speak. He was afraid that these would be her last words & he didn’t want to believe it. He thought that if she didn’t say anything, she wouldn’t leave him.

He heard her speak his name. Her soft voice like a melody. He loved the way she spoke his name. She said it with so much love that it made his eyes glisten with tears again, but he held them in. He didn’t want to add anymore pain to her existing pain.

"I love you & will continue loving you for eternity. We maybe in two different world but know that I will be by your side in spirit, Yunho Oppa." With those final words, she closed her eyes & her breathing ceased. Tears spilled down his cheeks as he held her tightly. He called her name & screamed up to god to bring her back but the only reply he got was the day fading into night. He sat there, rocking her in his arms. Only the howling wind was his comfort.
