Suzy jumped to the bed and right into his welcoming embrace. She giggled as he instantly proceeded to hug her back with one arm, the other sliding across the shoulder that happily went around him. He was giving her a doubting stare, and she couldn’t help but smirk.
“What?”
“What do I owe the honour?” he asked.
“Nothing, I just felt like getting a hug” she tried to look as innocent as possible. “I can’t?”
“Of course you can, baby” Seung gi replied with a hand sneaking to ruffle her newly washed hair. A few moments passed in ease, as her arm went beneath his to hug his shoulder. This has always been his favourite way of winding down.
Slowly, she ascended to look directly at his eyes, pout included. “You know, oppa” she begun. “My friends are holding a really small get-together for Halloween” he hummed, gesturing her to continue. He knew where this was going. “And it might not be exactly like the one last year, but it’ll still be a lot of fun”
Last year’s was a party in a flat. It was highly entertaining, though he didn’t exactly admire the kitty costume Suzy wore. It later became his favourite when they went back home that night.
“And I really, really want you to come” she finished. He gave her an amused nod as a reply. “Really?” she asked.
He nodded again. “It was delightful last year”
“You said you will. You can’t take it back later!” her index finger threatened.
“I won’t” he assured. “But Suzy”
“Hmm?”
“No kitty costumes”

They were on the train to Ganhyeon, a popular camping and climbing spot, where her friends’ outing will take place. He found out that tiny detail when he asked her what she’s doing as she was vacuuming the air out of plastic bags, which contained some of his clothes.
It was safe to say it wasn’t what he expected, but a camping trip is always too fun to pass. Therefore, they were on a small bus that’s going there the earliest in the morning. A small group of her friends, their partners and some family members joined.
“Would you like some, oppa?” she offered him a mint and lemon juice. He took it with a smile, realizing she never fails to remember his favourites. Suzy leaned her head on his shoulder and sipped into her bottle of apple juice. They looked up when a camera click was heard.
They gave into laughter when they discovered her friend took a picture of them from her place a few seats ahead of them in the bus.
“What? You’re cute”
“Don’t bother them, Yoon jinn-ah, you know Suzy is unpleasant in the morning”
“Yahhh!”

They arrived to the intended spot almost an hour later. The mountain, pure nature, and the lake that ran through the park were instantly captivating. It took a little while longer to agree on their favourite spot to settle and rent the tents for later.
He was enjoying the lovely view as Suzy allowed her hair to fall from the high ponytail. It fell in cascading, bouncy locks as she swayed it like a perfect shampoo commercial. That, along with the deep green top she was wearing that allowed her skin to shine, were a perfect addition to the nature scene.
“Seung gi oppa, have you heard of the story?”
He turned to the direction of the question, finding Dae hee, another friend of hers preparing her climbing gear. “What story?”
“It’s an urban legend. They say that once upon a time, a school girl was making h
