Twelve

She was staring at her book. She had locked herself in one of the rooms and told him she wanted to study. If she could just read her own handwriting maybe these questions wouldn’t have been so hard to figure out. She could ask him of course, the perks of dating a professor. Yet He was too much of a ert. Last time he wasted her whole time. It was far more exciting than studying of course, but it was her midterm now.

Seung gi was standing against the kitchen counter, making some strawberry juice. He guessed she would be exhausted by now. She’s been studying for five consequent hours.

“Oppa!” he was surprised to turn around to find her standing behind him, in an oversized pyjama with her hair in a bun, carrying her books and a mess of papers in hand. “Help!” she simply said while giving him puppy eyes.

He gave her a smile and guided her to the couch while holding a tray.  He handed her a glass and held the other one himself. Teaching her was never easy yet he was going to do it anyway. Who was he to say no to her?

“We just went through this, dear” he said as he massaged his forehead. Teaching her was definitely not easy.

She winced. “I know. I forgot how to do it”

“It’s quite easy love just give it a try. What combination of lines could produce a triangle similar to the shaded triangle?”

She bit on her lips as she stared at the textbook. “Can you explain it again? Just once more” she gave him a pout. It was so easy for her to make him melt.

“Alright just focus this time yeah love?” he answered with a sigh. She nodded, moving closer to him.

“Bae Suzy!” he turned to look at her. He had been explaining the same question for the last fifteen minutes. And she was still having troubles with it.
