“Someone looks happy today” Seung gi commented as they were making their way towards the car.
“Oh, someone is” she replied with a giggle. Someone was going dress fitting that afternoon, wedding dress fitting to be specific. He knew there was a big possibility that she comes home with the sacred piece he’ll never be allowed to touch or even point at.
He smiled watching her joyfully swinging their hands. It was highly amusing to see how happy she is about the subject. Of course, not getting any proper sleep the past few days because Suzy used her bright-as-the-sun mobile to search for information about the dress day and night, especially night, especially in bed, wasn’t as amusing. He learned to adapt to that.
Her mother, best friend and his sister were joining her that day. And none of the ladies agreed to give him any hints. It wasn’t that he wanted to spoil the surprise, but waiting for months wasn’t his best speciality.
And although he didn’t tell her, he was rather nervous. According to the few articles he read over Suzy’s shoulder while whining about his sleep, dress shopping is the greatest heroic battle of all weddings. Some of the brides break down and others take infinite fittings to find the one. He wanted to be with her more than anything.
“So how will it be?” Seung gi asked.
“I’m not allowed to give you details, oppa”
“That’s unfair” he complained. “Then did you limit the options yet?”
She nodded with a little smirk, refusing to further explain. Based on the smirk and the endless crumpled papers he kept finding in the trash can, it seemed like she did more than just limit the options. It seemed that she already had the idea for her perfect dress.
“You know you can call me if you need anything, baby” he reminded her.
“I can survive without you for a day” she , chuckling as he gave her a pout. “Barely” she added.
He smiled. “I know it’ll be beautiful, baby”

“What happened?” he asked. Hyo Ri gave him an emergency call a while ago. Apparently, the heroic battle didn’t go so well. Suzy asked her to call him.
“I’m not sure. She was trying a dress and then she just lost it” Hyo Ri replied as she was guiding him to the changing room. “I think it’s the tension, it’s a big decision you know. That and how the saleslady was getting on her nerves, mine as well”
“And then Suzy locked herself in?”
She nodded. “She’s in there” she pointed towards the fitting room.
He lightly knocked on the door. “Baby? Can I come in?”
He heard the door unlocking; her head peeked out to check, looking relieved when she saw him. She reached her hand out to tug on his shirt and bring him into the room.
He nearly gasped when he saw her. She was sitting on the floor, in her underwear, surrounded by veils. By the visible tear stream on her cheek, things didn’t go as she’d hoped at all.
“What happened, baby” he kneeled down beside her.
“They didn’t have the one I was hoping for” she answered with her lips puckering. “I showed them the picture anyway, and the lady said it would look unflattering on me” she continued after a little hiccup. “And then… all the dr
