The kitchen was experiencing a small decor change that morning. Suzy shifted the breakfast table so that the two chairs are facing each other. She told him that way they can hold each other’s left hands, which would make it easier to eat. He chuckled at the playfulness as he took his seat.
“Is that strawberry juice?” he pointed at the bottle beside them, which she had been working on since he woke up.
She nodded, reaching for his glass to pour it, and then holding his hand. “It’s strawberry and red apples. It gives a nice kick”
He helped to cut her boiled egg in the shape of small boats like usual. He then held one for her to try. “Say ah”
She complied with a grin, swallowing the salted slice.
“You need to stop feeding me oppa. People are starting to think I can’t eat on my own anymore”
“Why do you think I feed you?” he teased.
Just as she was about to argue, the sandwich she was holding fell to her lap, creating a minor mess. She bit her lip.

His eyes rose from the papers in surprise. He walked to the sofa and she made space for him to sit. “I was about to wake you baby, your break is almost over” he seemed to notice her expression then. “Is something wrong?”
She stopped his hand from tangling around her hairs and held it still instead. “Do you really think that oppa, that you can’t feel a bond till a long time has passed?”
He nodded with a small chuckle. She sure likes pretending to be asleep around him. He could see her eyes falling in disappointment. “What’s wrong?” he asked again.
“Nothing” she hurriedly replied. “I should get back to work” he held her wrist with a curious look before she managed to get up. “Really oppa, it’s nothing” she assured. She kissed his lips for further confirmation.
“I love you”
“I love you more oppa”
Perhaps it was silly of her, but she believed that something clicked between them the first time she saw him. He was a complete gentleman to her, his smile was so kind and caring, being handsome didn’t hurt either.
She always imagined their meeting almost three years ago as destiny. She didn’t think that all the otherwise unfortunate events that happened to her on the day she met him were coinci
