Over the period of their relationship, Suzy grew a special liking of cuddling. She would always be excited for evenings as it meant it would be time for her favourite pastime activity. It didn’t help that he holds her so well.
She was surprised when her boyfriend suddenly announced that their peaceful evening would be spent watching men running after a ball.
He follows the football matches, and she knew he was a huge fan, but he would usually be too busy with work. She used to be a follower of the sport from a young age. However, after a rather painful incident, she withdrew herself from such sports event.
She momentarily thought about retiring to an early sleep, but then again it’s in the screen, thus no physical harm could reach her. And she knew he often joins the activities he doesn’t like for her sake; she might as well do the same.
“It’s been so long since I watched a match” she stated as she handed him some crisps. “I forgot about everything” he fixed the pillows before opening the Pepsi bottle and pouring them both a drink.
“I’ll fill you in baby” he assured with a smile. She sat beside him and the TV. She was immediately greeted with the hype of the audience. “You don’t like football?”
“I used to. I lost interest” His arm went around her shoulders and she went closer to his embrace.
“How come? Your dad said you were a huge fan”
She didn’t reply as the flashback played in her mind. She was thirteen at the time. She made the awful mistake of walking into the school gym as they were playing football, trying to call for her brother. Their game must have instantly switched to basketball because the next thing she knew, a ball flew into her head. She collapsed to the floor with a bloody nose in front of everyone, her then crush included.
The next day, everyone in school had a clear idea of just how much she liked pink.
“It just happened with time” she answered. He kissed her cheek and nodded as they shared the snacks.

“Korea isn’t playing, it’s Germany and France” he replied.
“Which one are we cheering for?”
