Analyzing
It's Complicated
Choi Jonghun’s POV:
I went early to Jaejin’s place today. It has been a while since this thought has been bothering me. Ever since that moment when I played the guitar outside her house and felt “that”, I just want to make her mine. So I decided to ask Jaejin for help. He’s the only person I know that can help me since they’re sort of friends.
When I got to his room I saw him so messed up. As if he was annoyed by something. But never mind, I need his help badly on this. So I then asked him to help me confess to Mina. His reaction however was not on the plan nor was something I expected. He stiffened as if he was hit painfully by something, his reaction cannot be painted. At that moment of silence, my excitement turned into nervousness as thoughts raced through my head.
Don’t tell me…. Please no…
--His indifference.
--His silence.
--His excitement for the movie.
--He saved Mina from falling.
--His painful expression now.
As much as I don’t want to think about it, the more I realized his true feelings. What is he doing then? If he feels like that for her, why is he letting me make a move on her? As I analyze all these things, he came back into reality with now a confused expression on his face. He rubbed his head as if it was the one hurting and turned to me.
“So how may I help you then?” He smiled at me as he said those words. I examined his expressions and another thought crossed my mind; Lee Jaejin may be academically smart, but when it comes to his feelings he sure a lot. I bet he doesn’t even know he is in love with her yet.
Good for me, bad for him. Sorry bro, but I just can’t give up on Mina.
