FEW DAYS LATER…

**Jin Ae‘s POV**

I was released from the hospital and was happily greeted by my parents at their house. My unni and I decided to spend at least one more month in Korea before leaving back to Japan. I guess one month wouldn’t take forever. It was awkward enough for my ex-parents- in-laws to ask me to go see Jaejoong. I wanted to deny their request but I didn’t want to disappoint them at the same time. I gathered all my courage to go see him at the hospital. My unni took me to the hospital and I felt a funny feeling in my gut. It was like my stomach was hungry but I knew it wasn’t. We waited for the elevator then once it came, we took it up. While I turned to talk to my unni next to me, the elevator ring and someone behind me was trying to get out. I moved aside then looked out of the elevator to see him about twenty feet away. He saw me too but in his expression there was no happiness or at least a fake smile. The doors closed and my eyes did not blink nor did I tried looking at something else.

“Jin Ae… Jin Ae!” My unni shook me out of my thought.

“H-Huh?” I uttered out and she gestured me to get out of the elevator since we have arrived at our floor.

I walked out first then my unni followed. I wasn’t sure if it was worth going to his room anymore so I stopped.

“Why are you stopping?” My unni asked as she saw my reaction.

“I saw him.” I mumbled as my eyes looked straight to somewhere else instead of looking at my unni.

“What do you mean, you saw him?” She asked again.

“He’s not there anymore.” I had the same tone and stare.

“What?”

“He has already left. I saw him just a moment ago.” I slowly said then looked up to her.

“L-Let‘s go.” I uttered before turning and walking towards the elevator again.

“J-Ji… Ugh.” I heard her grunt before she caught up with me.

‘Why did he give me that cold look like he hates me?’ I thought repeatedly in my head.

We eventually came out of the hospital and was ready to go home when my ex mother-in-law called.

“Yes?” I politely answered.

“Jin Ae? Oh, Jaejoong is home now. You can come over here to see him.” She informed me.

“Actually I---”

“By the way, I can‘t wait to see my granddaughters. Bring them over~!” She cut me off with her excited voice.

“O-Okay.” I uttered before ending the call.

“What‘s up?” My unni asked and there a small lump in my throat.

“J-Jaejoong‘s umma wants to see the babies.” I stuttered.

“And what‘s wrong with that?” She questioned but I only shook my head.

“So are you taking the babies to see them?” She added.

“I guess.” I stressed out the words as we approached home.

We went in just to get the babies then came right back out. My unni drove to Jaejoong’s house and each second felt like the air was choking me.

“Are you okay?” My unni turned to me as she stopped at a red light.

“Yea.” I simply breathed out before going back to being nervous.

Once we got there, we both took the babies in and were greeted by Jaejoong’s mom. Her face lit up the moment she saw the babies. She took one into her arms and wanted to take the other one too but obviously her arms were full with one of the baby.

“I‘m so sorry. The doctor didn‘t tell us that Jaejoong was going to get released today. He‘s upstairs in his room, you can go see him.” She apologized as we were all seated in the living room.

I didn’t want to but if I didn’t go, Jaejoong’s mom might get a bit disappointed in me since my only reason to be here was just to see him.

“I‘ll go see him now then.” I informed them then stood up and walked towards the staircase.

I got to his door and I raised my hand for the knock but stopped a few centimeters before my fist would really hit the wooden door.

Does he want to see me?

Will this only make him want to hold on tighter to me?

Anyways, I knocked a few times and there was no answer. I tried once more then gave up so I opened the door myself. I got the door to open wide enough for me to slid in then I heard crashing from the bathroom. I ran to the bathroom and saw Jaejoong on the floor with his crutches on each side of his body laying in different angles.

“Are you okay?” I softly and worriedly asked as I bent down to him.

“What are you doing here?” He sorted asked in a harsh tone after a grunt.

“Your mom asked me to come see you.” I told him and he tried sitting up since he was still in my arms.

“I don‘t need you here.” He used the tone again.

“Jaejoong I---”

“Go away.” He growled but I did not move one bit of my body.

“I SAID GO AWAY! I DON‘T EVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN!” He finally raised his voice at me.

Some rare reason, I was angry at him but at the same time I didn’t want to be angry. I only looked into his eyes that were clearly full of lies before I stood up.

“I-I‘m so sorry for being here. I didn‘t realize that you hated me this much. All I wanted was to show our daughters to you and your parents. Sorry if I showed my face to you.” I said before turning and walking away.

Like expected, he didn’t stop me. He didn’t even try yelling at me again but left it alone. I felt one teardrop and wiped it away. When I got to the door, Jaejoong’s dad was there. I politely greet him with a bow then went downstairs. I guess he heard us but there was nothing he can change. I acted like nothing happened and we stayed a bit before I lied that we had to leave due to something important. After we did, my unni started questioning me in the car but I didn’t say much to all of them. So we were home and I was in my room with my babies quietly asleep. I was dozing off when I was notified that Hana came over. I had her come to my room and we talked.

“What wrong? You look depressed about something.” My best friend saw it through me even when I faked so many smiles.

“I-It‘s just…*sigh* Jaejoong and I sort of got into a argument.” I admitted.

“Why?” She asked.

“I don‘t know either but it seems like he changed.” I said.

“Jin Ae…” She said my name in a comforting voice.

I shook my head before answering Hana.

“People can change within time even in one day. If that‘s what he finally wants for us then I can agree to it. After all, wasn‘t that what I wanted too?” I sighed as I looked down to the ground.

“I was the one who wanted him to let go. For him to hate me and if he really does hate me now, I‘m more than happy to leave.”

“But he still loves you very much. Anyone can see that if they really look at it or maybe if they just glance at him if they knew what you guys have been through.”

“I don‘t want to stay if he hates me deep to my guts. I once was willing to give him something he wants and I know I am able to give him more this time. ” I told her as she stared into my eyes with sadness.

A/N: So sorry, readers. My internet went down so I couldn't update but I was still writing more though ;) So the story will end in about FOUR chapters. Did I tell you guys that?? Eh, whatever. Sadly, I probably won't get to update everday even when I only got a few chapters left but it's okay, right? ;) In advance, I will ask some readers to do a review for me but I won't post up the forum for it yet. Not until one chapter before the ending chapter. aha. Okay I'm off to plan 'my wedding', it's a assignment. Hehe.
