FEW DAYS LATER....

**Jin Ae's POV**

I entered the building and took the elevator up to the floor I should be at this time. I kept taking in air as I grew nervous about everything else but most of all my heart was breaking. The elevator did the normal indication of my stop then I went out. I went towards the secretary and she stood up to greet me.

"Hi um... can you give this to Mr. Ok once I'm out?"

"Okay. I can do that."

"Thanks." I smiled then went to my office to grab a few things.

I took what I needed then went out. I lightly closed my door so he wouldn't realize that I was there. As I look at his door, it brought memories to me from the first day I found out that he was my boss until now. Tears rolled down my cheeks and I sniffed them back. I left before I could burst in tears.

**Taecyeon's POV**

Morning approach and I went to work. I was by my office's door when I took a look at her office. She wasn't here and I was hoping she would be here any minute. I was right in the middle of doing some files when my secretary walked in with an white envelope.

"Mr. Ok..."

"Yes?" I looked up at her and she handed me the envelope.

"Assistant Kim wanted me to give this to you."

"Is she in her office now?"

"No. She just left not so long ago."

"When did she drop this off?"

"About a few minutes ago.." She told me.

"Thanks." I said then she left me alone.

I opened the envelope and a note slipped out. I opened it and there wasn't much but:

Taecyeon,

Please don't ask me why I resign from my position. I wish the best for you and your future wife.

'H-how did she find out about my engagement?'

I got out of my seat and rushed into the hallway. I ran down the aisles of the workers and everyone lifted their heads to see the drama. I press on the elevator button but it went down already. It has to be her. A feeling was telling me that the person I love is inside of that elevator. I sprint down the stairs that should be used when there is a fire raging inside the building but it was the only way I could reach her. Once I got to the elevator it went up. I dart out the building and she was nowhere. I went to my car and got the Ignition on then speed to her house. Once I was in front of it, I went out and rang the bell but no one was answering it. I was so impatient but when I heard footsteps coming towards my way, I turned to see if it was her or not

"Jin Ae!" I called her name and her head shot up with a face filled with shock.

She backed up then started running.

"JIN AE!" I called her name again and chased her like we were playing some kind of undercover game.

"JIN AE!"

"STOP FOLLOWING ME!" She shouted but soon fell to the ground.

"Jin Ae!" I went to her and she was holding on to her foot.

I bent next to her but she pushed me away.

"WHY DON'T ANYONE EVER LISTENS TO ME?! CAN'T I JUST BE ALONE FOR ONCE?!" She shouted and I was on the ground next to her.

"Jin Ae.... have I done anything wrong? Why are you acting like this, huh?!"

Her eyes were watery and she looked away without answering me.

"JIN AE!"

"I'm leaving! I want to leave everything behind! Even you...." She said as tears ran down her face.

"You have never done anything wrong but I need to get out of your life.... I don't fit in it and it's best if I leave...." She finished then stood up and started to walk away.

"No! You can't leave without telling me why you are resigning, acting like this?! Also... how did you even found out about my engagement?!"

She had her back facing me and didn't take another step after I asked my questions.

"I'm going crazy, Tae... My marriage is at its ending point and my life has nothing left of it anymore. I want to suffer alone..." She said then took another step forward.

"I thought you said I'm the only one you can turn to?! Didn't I tell you before that I will always be here for you?!"

"Jin Ae.... why...?"

"BECAUSE I HATE THIS! I hate seeing people hurt when it's all my fault. Why does everyone wants to be hurt when it should just be me?! WHY?!"

I would consider myself at the point of being a madman. I walked up to her and pulled her into a kiss. Her eyes were closed and she return the kiss. I pulled away and let our foreheads lean against each other.

"Because I love you, Jin Ae.... I love you so much that I'm willing to share your pain even when you're trying to hide it from me. I want to feel the scars that you are getting and the tears that you are letting out. I can care less about the world but if I have you then I'm complete." I said with all my heart in those words.

Her cry grew harder and she shook her head.

“I-I‘m so sorry…” She stuttered but I draw her back into a kiss.

“Why be sorry when this distance is keeping us waiting too long?” I softly said to her.

**Jin Ae‘s POV**

The second he said those words to me, I had the confused feeling building up in me.

“I‘ve been waiting for the right moment to tell you but I never did when I had the chance to. Like you said, no one would have ever thought that you would get marry so I told myself that I‘ll wait until I become someone successful then I‘ll tell you how much I love you. I fell in love with you ever since the first day I met you. Do you know how long that was? It was five years ago. I wish I should have told you earlier and have you wait for me...”

I waited for a bit before answering him.

“Tae…” I backed up and made his hands let go of mines.

“I knew that you were in love with me but at that time I was still a confused girl who didn‘t know what I wanted. I desired for something that wasn‘t for me until I got married. I knew what was right for me then that was when I thought of you when you appeared in my life again. I didn‘t want to tell you that I was married because I knew it would hurt. You probably didn‘t notice but I knew that deep inside of you were covered with scars which was caused by me…”

“I ruined two people’s lives already. Please don’t let me do the same to you too…”

I wanted to wipe away the tears from him but before I had another thought, I left him there.

A/N: OMFG! So Taecyeon FINALLY confess! *screams* ANYWAYS! Was TWO chapters enough for your wait?? Please don't kill me just yet. I'm working on the writing :)
