Myungsoo carried Yujin’s suitcase down the stairs. The preparations were almost done, it was time to take Yujin to America and start her new life.

Without Daehyun.

“Myungsoo ya…I prepared some red ginseng and other tonics for Yujin, remember to take them to America with you.” Yujin’s Mom placed the box of tonics on the dining table.

“I will…don’t worry eomeoni, I’ll take good care of Yujin.” Myungsoo assured.

Yujin’s Mom nodded. “I’ll go over to see Yujin with the Chairman once he’s less busy with managing the hotel.”

“We’ll be leaving tomorrow morning, my abeoji’s private jet is already waiting at the airport.” Myungsoo informed.

Myungsoo left the house after chatting with Yujin’s Mom, he drove to Capelle Hotel to see the Chairman.

“Hwejangnim..” Myungsoo greeted as he entered the door of the Chairman’s office.

“Myungsoo ya…you’re here.” The Chairman replied, looking up from his work.

Myungsoo was holding an A4 sized brown envelope, he opened it and placed some papers on the table in front of the Chairman.

“These are the documents proving Yujin’s change of identity.” Myungsoo explained.

“She will now be known as Julia Kang, born in Korea but living in America for studies in Stanford University…I have also applied for her Visa.”

“Even a person with lots of resources will not be able to find her….we don’t need to worry about Jung Daehyun.” Myungsoo finished, with a small smirk on his face.

The Chairman nodded, adjusting his reading glasses.

“Very good, I’ll entrust Yujin to you…anyway I already treat you as my Son-in-law.”

Myungsoo smiled, although he had already gained the acceptance from Yujin’s parents he still wanted to win Yujin’s heart. Myungsoo’s place in Yujin’s heart was always as an older brother, she never saw him as a marriage partner because she was deeply in love with Daehyun. Now that Daehyun was out of the picture, Myungsoo could focus wholeheartedly on making Yujin his.

He didn’t just want Yujin to be with him, he wanted Yujin to want him…he wanted her to want to be with him.

“We’re home!” Sora exclaimed, turning to Daehyun and pointing at the gate of her house.

It was a traditional Korean house and there was something about it that gave Daehyun a warm homely feeling.

“Eomma!” Sora shouted, as the both of them entered the front gate.

“Appa...!” She continued.

“Oh…Sora ya! You’re home?” Sora’s Mom’s voice sounded as she came out to the front yard.

“Omo…who’s this?” Sora’s Mom widened her eyes as she looked at Daehyun from head to toe.

“This is my friend…Daehyun.” Sora introduced, pulling Daehyun forward by his arm.

“Annyeonghaseyo…” Daehyun bowed.

“Omoomo….don’t tell me…he made you pregnant and the both of you want to get married!” Sora’s Mom speculated.

“Eomma!!” Sora frowned.

“What are you saying!?” she said, grabbing her Mom’s arm.

Daehyun smiled embarrassedly.

“Aniyo…ahjumeoni…it’s not like that..” he replied.

“Eomma, you wanted to rent out Oppa’s room the other time didn’t you? My friend Daehyun…just got kicked out of his apartment and he has nowhere to stay…why don’t you rent it out to him..ye?” Sora fluttered her eyelids at her Mom.

“I…don’t know…” Sora’s Mom said thoughtfully, still examining Daehyun.

“Young man, have you been drinking? I can smell alcohol on you.” Sora’s Mom said, walking up to Daehyun and grabbing his jacket.

“Eomma!!” Sora protested again, pushing her Mom away from Daehyun.

“You're embarrassing me..” She hissed.

“Aisshhh…this girl.”

“Fine, young man…you can have the room.” Sora’s Mom finally agreed.

“Thank you very much….I’ll pay the rent immediately once I have the money.” Daehyun bowed.

“In the meantime…ahjumeoni…feel free to ask me to help out with any chores if you need.” Daehyun smiled.

“Yess!! Gomawo eomma!” Sora grinned at her Mom, who made a disgusted face at her.

“Gomawo…” Daehyun smiled, as Sora turned to face him.

“Don’t be too happy yet!! You still have to find a job and pay my eomma the rent and pay me the hospital bill!” Sora reminded, trying not to smile too widely.

“You don’t have to worry about that!” Daehyun assured.

“Come on, I’ll show you the room!” Sora grinned.

Daehyun set his luggage down on the floor as he looked around the room, it looked comfy and warm…it was spacious too.

“You know…this room, is even bigger than my room..because it’s my Oppa’s room!” Sora boasted.

“And it’s quiet too…you don’t have to worry about anyone or anything disturbing you when you do your things.” She added on.

“It’s good…I like it a lot.” Daehyun nodded.

Sora smiled.

“I need to get to work soon so….I’ll leave you to unpack your things..if you need anything call me all right?” Sora said, turning towards the door.

She was about to leave when she stopped and turned around to face Daehyun.

“Daehyun ssi, I hope you’ll find a job today….you need to pick yourself up and continue with your life.”

“I’m sure…Yujin would want to see you successful right? Think about it this way, what if one day she came back….you would want her to see you successful and living a good life right? So…hwaiting!!” Sora smiled, holding her fist in front of her fac
