Yujin lay wide-awake in bed, she couldn’t sleep at all…not after finding out the truth about what Myungsoo did.

Myungsoo loved her, there was no doubt about that…but he was too controlling. He wanted everything to go his way…he even restored to hurting someone to get what he wanted..and Yujin couldn’t accept that.

There was a chance Soyeon could be lying…but why did Myungsoo have to give her money then?

Yujin was even suspecting that Myungsoo might be involved in the food poisoning case.

Yujin finally couldn’t take it anymore and decided to get out of bed, she wanted to know what else Myungsoo was hiding from her.

Yujin crept out of her room and tiptoed towards Myungsoo’s study, if there was anything else that he was hiding from her…it would definitely be hidden inside.

Yujin slowed her breathing as she slowly twisted the doorknob and pushed the door open. The squeaking sound of the door opening was almost non-existent but to Yujin it was all she could hear right now.

She quickly looked over her shoulder to make sure no one was there before entering the study and closing the door behind her.

Yujin took a deep breath as she entered the study, relieved that no one had seen her. She crept towards the study table and started flipping through the documents and opening the drawers…but all she could find were documents relating to work (His Dad’s Kimchi business).

Yujin sat on the chair and looked around, wondering where else Myungsoo might hide something…then she noticed the family portrait that was hanging on one of the walls..it was of Myungsoo when he was young with his parents.

Yujin went over to the wall and pushed the potrait aside a little…she gasped as she looked behind it and realized there was a hole in the wall where a safe was sitting..the safe was the kind that needed a key (not the ones where u press the numbers).

Yujin slowly lowered the potrait and stared at the safe wondering how to open it, she wondered if the key was somewhere in this room.

This study was mainly used by Myungsoo, his Dad had another study upstairs which he used…and no one else except Myungsoo ever really stepped into this room.

Yujin started opening the drawers of the study table again to look for the key, when suddenly she opened one too hard and something fell off the table with a loud “thud” sound.

Yujin scrambled to where the thing fell and she realized it was a photoframe with a photo of Myungsoo and her that they took the other time at the studio.

Something told her that this photoframe was something important so Yujin turned it around and pulled open the back of the photoframe, there was a piece of black card behind the photo and Yujin removed it…. revealing a key that was sandwiched in between the photo and the black card.

Yujin’s hand trembled as she pulled out the key from the photoframe and hurried to the safe…she slot the key into the keyhole and it fit perfectly. She bit her lip as she turned the key in the lock and pulled the door open.

There were some gold bars and a pair of gold tortoises inside but Yujin was only interested in the papers. She pulled out a brown envelope and emptied the contents, Yujin scanned the paper it had the information of the white powder that was used to poison the food at the hotel patisserie…and behind that paper was information on Lee Manchul…the chef that was held responsible for the food poisoning incident.

Yujin widened in disbelief as she read the documents…there was information about Lee Manchul’s sister and how his family was poor and he needed money.

“Kim Myungsoo…I can’t believe you did all of this…” Yujin mumbled to herself, collapsing onto the chair.

The next morning, Yujin had been driven to the wedding venue and she was seated in one of the rooms getting her hair and makeup done.

“Waahhh…agasshi…you look so beautiful…” The helper smiled, standing next to Yujin who was standing in front of the full-length mirror.

Yujin forced a smile as she looked at her reflection…she did look nice…but inside she was feeling terrible.

“Julia” Yujin’s Mom called as she opened the door of the room and came in.

“Oh, eomma!” Yujin smiled, looking towards her Mom.

“Ahhhh…my daughter looks so beautiful today…” Yujin’s Mom smiled, looking at Yujin’s face and adjusting her hair.

“Julia…very soon you’re going to be a married woman…”

“I’m happy you finally made this decision to marry Myungsoo…we’re all happy for you…he loves you a lot…you know that right? I’m sure, he’ll take good care of you.” Yujin’s Mom said, enveloping Yujin in a hug.

Yujin tried to look happy as she hugged her Mom back…

What was she even doing? When she didn’t love Myungsoo at all.

“I’ll leave you to get ready…I need to go check if everything’s going okay outside…I’ll see you later okay?” Yujin’s Mom smiled as she left the room.

Yujin walked towards the dressing table as was about to sit down when she accidentally brushed against her handbag and it fell to the ground.

Yujin bent down to get her things when she saw the cloth bag (with her couple ring anf the charm bracelet inside) lying on the floor.

She picked it up and sat on the chair, emptiying it’s contents onto her hand.

Yujin placed the couple ring on her finger next to the wedding ring Myungsoo gave her.

It looked so shabby and plain next to the 3 carat diamond ring Myungsoo gave her…but it contained so many memories and feelings..that she would never be able to for
